Playing ignorant when nobody believes you just makes you actually ignorant.
At this point, it's pretty clear that this software isn't doing anything that defenders don't do quicker manually. That speed matters for them. The 20 second delay on the API means defenders can't actually use NARIS to actively defend at update, because the only time a defender has 20 seconds to respond to an update raid is when the raiders have utterly screwed it up. The idea of using analytics on nations to try and guess which ones are raider sleepers is an idea with some merit, but the good sleepers and clean puppets just look like natives, so you're going to miss many and get an awful lot of false positives too.
The end point argument remains the same- if you want to help, get out there and provide an extra endorsement. You're not providing anything that defenders don't already have nailed down. This effort has an awful lot in common with the trope of middle-upper management with only a poor idea of how their employees actually do their job attempting to force those employees to use inferior software because the middle-upper management think it's better based on uninformed principles.
