[PASSED] Liberate The Place that has No Big Banks

Description: RECOGNIZING the short, yet eventful, existence of The Place that has No Big Banks thus far.

OBSERVING the occupation and continued conflict of said region by the forces of HYDRA Command.

NOTING the intent of HYDRA Command to perform a permanent takeover, and eventual re-founding, of said region, as evidenced by the implementation of a secret password to the region.

BELIEVING that the forces of HYDRA Command have gone too far and are preventing the natives of said region from being able to enter and effectively participate in their home region.

DISHEARTENED by the efforts of the raider forces to create an unwarranted burden on the peaceful native populace.

HEREBY LIBERATES The Place that has No Big Banks by removing the password placed on the region and further banning the region from having such a password, in order to ensure the continued existence of a once peaceful region.

RECOGNIZING the short, yet eventful, existence of The Place that has No Big Banks thus far.

This sentence is not grammatically correct, and kind of doesn’t make any sense. Either way, it isn't really a conflict, since there needs to be multiple parties involved for it be a conflict, and Hydra is the only group that has been in the region since day 1. Hell, not even day one, you yourself ordered your regionmates to abandon the Place That Has No Big Banks less than 12 hours after the initial invasion. You literally handed the region over to us, yet now you expect the SC to step in after doing nothing to even attempt to liberate the region on your own.

Believe it or not, the goal has actually never been to refound the region.

The original goal was just to close your region’s high number of embassies, not go for a refound. You guys brought the password on yourself.

DISHEARTENED by the efforts of the raider forces to create an unwarranted burden on the peaceful native populace.

Unwarranted? I can’t tell if you’re lying or if you simply don’t understand our motivation. Assuming it is the latter, allow me to explain: I wasn’t around for when your founder got his original nation DEATed and I do not actually know what he did, but I was there for when the second nation was DEATed. I seem to recall that it was deleted by moderation for flaming members of HyCom in the message he used when he telegram bombed my region. There are many responses to a raid that are perfectly acceptable, like making an rmb or forum post. Tg bombing is one of those things that's just not cool to do to a region under any circumstances, and it's especially bad when the telegram is offensive enough to deserve a DEAT.

This is one of the rare times where the raiders actually were provoked into taking drastic measures against a native region. I doubt anyone will care though, but I don't really care myself. Any of the ways this situation could turn out benefit Hydra.

While we sympathize with your efforts, what real solution would come from this?

Say this were to pass, the way of leadership would not change.

Before the kingdom votes, please specify any real changes that would occur.

If this resolution were to pass, it would open up the door for a renewed effort at retaking the region without the threat of the region being forcibly re-founded. So, while the current leadership will remain for the time being, an effective fight for the region can be mustered up with the support of defenders around NS from the publicity that this resolution will/has brought to the occupation.

In a sense this resolution guarantees the opportunity for the region to be taken back without a time limit placed on the process. The real change will come in the form of the renewed efforts to retake the region and safeguard it from future raiders who have the intent of a permanent occupation.

1) Who did put a regional password on it ?
(raiders OR defenders)

2) They are able to remove the password as the WAD is Executive. Hydra command have to wait a bit before they have enough regional influence to do it. Patient is the key.

3) In the case of "Liberate The Arab League", I didn't observed the regional password removal after the resolution was passed or did I look at a different region ?

I did read this:

Dharman2 is a raider that is in said region, the WAD is a raider from Hydra command and refuse to unlock the password'.

4) I thought indeed that this region was tagged as invader, with Hydra command embassies:

I'am confused if I read this and look at te regional activity. Can you explain why the HYDRA command raiders vote FOR this resoution but you command the opposite. Strange...

Is there someone who can explain why my nation have to vote FOR this SC resoution ?...

I absolutely refuse to support this legislation, and fail to understand how this is a viable proposal. The Place that has No Big Banks brought this upon themselves -- they're inhabited by losers who are incapable of protecting themselves. If they were viable as a region they would have fended off the attack and emerged victorious. By allowing raiders to take over as such they've shown they are inhabited by those incapable of protecting themselves and unworthy of any positive recognition. We should not be stepping in and assisting these absolute losers, they brought this upon themselves and deserve no sympathy.

Though I belive raiding is wrong and should be stopped. Hydra is having their members vote for this liberation, untill we could figure out why their voting yes. I say vote no, untill we know hydra's plan.

Don't get into it in full,but it has something to do with updates.

Defending is basically getting the region full of defenders and them all voting for one person.

I really don't believe that a region that has been completely abandoned by 'natives' is worth it. I also see no sign of a refound attempt. That said, its a liberation and ebil raiderz r bad so it will pass.

Raiding is a form of takeover, where a nation (or a group of nations, called raiders) attempt to overthrow a region and command it as their own by gaining the trust of those who run said region, and gaining power.

There are regions who dedicate themselves to raiding other regions, too. It's not an illegal practice so it happens sometimes. There was also, once, a large raiding region called The Black Riders (TBR) who were notoriously capable of raiding other regions.

But don't stress! I doubt it will happen to you.
