How exactly is it "hard" to ignore him? He will post frequently but you wont see it will you?

Accepted Norm?
What is it exactly - your personal norms which few others support?
This is net and you will meet people which you will find annoying - so what to do - delete all of them? I bet it is much more better if you click one button right? Hell it happens in RL life too - you find someone in your workplace annoying will you go to manager to fire him/her or will you simply ignore them?

Jungastia wrote:You may find the comments about you behavior amusing, but they are said with the utmost seriousness, as mod I feel that your conduct was unsuited to you position of dictating what is wrong and what is right.

Sure, he likes to play all kinds of inhumane punishments and stuff, but so do many others, and yet people don't make a big deal out of it, especially OOC:ly. Sure, he needs a spellchecker, but so do many others and that's no reason to bully him every chance you get. You can advise him on the subject.
People have advised him and failed.
Yup. The fact that there are people going against the mods and questioning Kalasparata's existence on Nationstates shows that they are willing to martyr their nations to get him out; I think that shows the kind of hatred that Kalasparata invokes in people through his actions. And FYI to Great Nepal: it is hard to ignore a nation that posts and creates new threads as frequently as he does.

Then simply, upon noticing who's the creator of the thread, leave. Don't even read it, just go browse other, more interesting ones.

Trolling: Posts that are made with the aim of angering people. (like 'ALL JEWS ARE [insert vile comment here]' for example). While Trolls often make these posts strictly in an attempt to provoke negative comment, it is still trolling even if you actually hold those beliefs. Intent is difficult to prove over the internet, so mods will work under their best assumptions.
Note that posts of opinions you disagree with does not automatically equate with trolling. Disagreements are expected, as long as they are done in a civil manner. Max Barry has made it clear that he welcomes all opinions in civil debate, even those that are highly unpopular or minority-held. Make your case without the invective, if you want to avoid banishment as a Troll.
Trolling is also is used to refer to making obviously silly topics that people nonetheless will reply to, despite all common sense. Don't feed the trolls.

The comparison with a workplace is entirely unrelated. It has no relevance.

I am not saying that this is doing that, but I can say that Kalasparata upsets a good many people, and will you argue that that is acceptable??

Surely mods, it shows that people are angry/upset if they are creating a fuss about it.
Whilst I do not wish to leave the game. I feel that the reaction of the mod team is so unrealistic I might have to.

It's too late, a Pandora's Box has been opened. We are making some good headway here, I think this is giving everyone a chance to talk about it in the open.

Like this? He may be annoying to you - but for me his posts are funny and give something to laugh in boring long holiday. And moreover, he has right to do whatever he wants as long as it isn't against game rules and I doubt what he does is against game rules. Okay he sometimes Uses Mod as weapon, godmods in a way that god himself will also be tired - but its not against game rule. And I bet there are people who find his posts funny rather than annoying.
