Introduction
The Pekweng National Pontifical University (Official Name: Pekweng National Catholic Pontifical University) is the national, and the Catholic universities, teaching and research university run by the Archdiocese of Katherinia. Founded on April 10, 2003, by the Archdiocesan Educational Commission is one of the country's Catholic universities in terms of enrollment found on one campus. It is also the largest university in the country, followed by Limueliano University of Law. The University is composed of several autonomous faculties, colleges, schools and institutes, each conferring undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate degrees, and the basic education units. Several degrees have been accredited by the Ministry of Education as the "Best Enrolled Schools". In August 2010, it was awarded the "The Only Catholic University of the Commonwealth".
The Patron of the University is St. Thomas Aquinas, while St. Catherine of Alexandria is the Patroness.
Prominent alumni include presidents, heroes, artists, scientists, professionals and religious figures, who have figured prominently in the history of the Commonwealth.
After reviewing the curriculum and history of this storied and important National University, I am particularly impressed with the devotion to a good education and a good formulation in faith provided by this university. A wide array of educational courses are offered, in a standard and tradition worthy of the Angelic Doctor himself, who serves as the school's patron.
The Ecclesiastical Faculties, in particular, are impressive and among the best such faculties in Christendom.
As such, it would be a great privilege for me to bestow upon the university the status of Pontifical College, denoting the site as one of the greatest such universities in Christendom for forming men to serve the Church and the flock. As such, it will additionally be my great honor to visit Pekweng personally during any pontifical ceremonies held.

My dear Pekwengnian Pontiffs and other visitors, I greet you and welcome to this university storefront!
As we now enter into the K-12 Revised Basic Education Curriculum, I was been glad because it is our way of modernizing and give way to a new and better education to our noble students.
I am also glad to hear many positive comments since this university had been championed many national and international competitions in which our university has been recognized.
May St. Thomas be our light and inspiration to all of us.
