Skills: Street smart & quick footed, he can climb, has a lot of stamina and is incredibly preceptive.

Weakness: After watching his parents descend into infected madness and kill his siblings he's no longer the most mentally stable of people, he suffers from waking nightmares that render him all but immobile and night terrors that prevent him from getting enough rest.

Personality: Will's tough, he's been though hell and that was before the apocalypse. He's failed at school and has low self-esteem but his street-smarts reveal an untapped intelligence lurking beneath the surface. He looks out for himself above all but he's not cruel and he try's to be a good person. He's just not willing to endanger himself doing it. His mental health problems have always left him a quiet loner and he's never been a trusting person, but if when he grows to care about somebody he's willing to do everything in his power to help them. His failure to save his parents or his sisters have sent him off on a downward spiral just when he needs his wits about him. He's also prone to bouts of extreme violence which he can't explain.

Biography: Before the crisis Will was failing school and spending time with the druggier, darker crowds of east London. He never was very popular, and his decent into the abyss was ignored by fellow students and teachers alike. His parents hardly noticed. It was only his older brother and little sisters who looked out for him. When his brother was killed in Afghanistan Will broke, he turned to self-harming and eventually overdosed in a fit of self hate. The threat of losing another son was enough to kick-start his family into action. They surrounded him and gave him the help and attention he needed, and for once the family pulled together. Will was pulled out of his downward spiral and his family began to feel like more of a family than it had done for years.

Then the sickness came. Will tried to help his parents but nothing he did could make a difference. During some of the worst fighting he found himself outside, as the city he'd grown up in was torn apart by riots and a military crackdown, he spent 72 hours trapped in it trying to find a way home. When he entered the apartment the horror inside was far worse than anything he'd seen on the streets. His sisters bodies were being mauled by his mum and dad. They were so infused with eating they didn't even notice him come in. A red mist descended and he charged them with a kitchen knife. Their slow reactions cost them their lives. Now he's looking for somewhere to hide. Somewhere safe.

Weakness: Prone to depression without human contact, hardly sneaky, and has a very large appetite.
Personality: Breanne approaches the world with a natural curiosity, although in her drive to find the logic behind things she is very stoic and somber at times. When around someone she knows, she becomes quite cheery and talkative.
Biography: Breanne Katharyn Lund was born to an English mother and a Norwegian father in Trondheim, Norway. Her mother was studying medicine in college while her father was a member of the Norwegian Army reserve. Both of her parents were cheerful, and she lived a rather well off life in a three bedroom flat in the inner city. Her mother gave birth to Breanne's younger sister in 2002, a child named Linda Tora Lund after her grandmother. Breanne received a basic education in central Trondheim where she was an honor roll student in every year she attended the school. In 2006, her younger sister was diagnosed with autism after her antisocial behaviors and lowered mental capacity prompted concerns during a regular checkup. The diagnosis devastated her father, who despite his wife's assurances still thought his family wouldn't be the same.

In 2011, in the wake of the 2011 attacks which included a shooting at a youth camp and the bombing of a government building, Breanne was enrolled in a Lausatök class by her father who helped her practice at home with his own knowledge of the style. He also taught her how to operate the P80 which was standard issue with the armed forces in the hopes of preparing her for any events such as the 2011 attacks. His fears of such an event caused him in 2012 to move his family to London. Breanne, who had already taken English as a language course in Norway, was easily able to earn her GCSE in mathematics, English, Latin, consumer sciences, and music. In 2014, her father joined the British Army reserve and was placed in the London Regiment. Due to her enjoyment of Lausatök, she convinced her father to enroll her in boxing lessons.

In later 2014, she took several basic medical courses as preparation for a more advanced paramedic course which would've allowed her to take a paying job straight out of high school. Her parents were thrilled, and supported her efforts up until 2016 when her father returned from a week long training exercise complaining of a cold. Shortly afterwards her mother began to display the same symptoms, and after their condition failed to improve both were sent to the hospital. They were a part of a larger group of people displaying the same symptoms, and their condition continued to deteriorate until her father died from complications in his treatment. Breanne and Linda had both been sent to stay with a family friend in the meantime, and the news of her father's death devastated Breanne to the point of complete silence; she was cold even towards her close friends and family. In the middle of the night several weeks later, Breanne who had blocked out the outside world including news sources heard several loud screams and crashes. She investigated the noises to find the friend her mother had left the sisters with chewing on Linda's neck.

Disgusted, she threw up attracting his attention, and after desperately warning him to stay back she disabled him with several well placed blows. Her sister was already well dead as evidenced by a massive pool of blood, so Breanne grabbed her locket and filled a backpack with supplies before leaving to find any kind of help; what surprised her the most however was to discover the majority of the city in the same condition as her sister's killer.

Equipment: A single backpack loaded with enough food and water for three days, a smartphone, a small tourist's map of the city, her sister's locket, and a well stocked first aid kit.

No one wants to be a pair of desirable girls who would be more vulnerable throughout the course of the RP.

The character I'm working on is a girl from a family who's not necessarily rich, but definitely more on the wealthy side so she's slightly spoiled, hasn't even touched a gun before looting one off a dead soldier, and generally has no idea what she's doing without all of the comforts she's come to expect.

Weakness: Very, very little experience with guns, can be unusually cruel and power hungry.
Personality: He's a thief and the leader of one of Hounslow's child gangs, or rather he was. He's proven to be quite bright and is a natural organizer and leader. At the same time however, this trait combined with the fact that his family is poor has opened up the door for him to enter the world of thievery, burglary, even a little extortion. At this he proved quite adept, and he was considered one of the best child thieves in london. His reputation allowed him to gather up other local kids, and together they formed the Hounslow Child Gang. He's ambitious and wants to make the most of the virus that's destroyed the city's way of life.

His mother had recently immigrated to the states, and before long had met James father, the two quickly fell in love and soon James was conceived. His father was forced to quit his career as an artist in order to get a more stable job in order to support his new wife and child. He took a job at a local shoe factory, while his mother took to selling her own art in order to contribute. Still it wasn't enough, and for the first 12 years of James life he lived impoverished. It was during this time that he began to run with a local street gang, thieves and criminals. James, despite his young age proved an talented member of the group, this however didn't stop him from eventually getting caught by the authorities. About a month after his 11th birthday James met up with his 'friends' at the usual spot. It was normal until the gangs leader proposed that they burglarize a local business who hadn't paid the protection fee. James was quickly selected to participate, and the following Tuesday the group put the plan into action. James picked the lock as usual before slipping inside along with a few of his peers. They ransacked the place, or at least they started too. No one would have anticipated that the business owner, who had shut the shop down for the day would come back with the police. The group scattered and only two boys out of the seven chosen escaped. The groups leader and James.

They thought they had made they're escape, but they were wrong as one police officer had given chase of the two. James had never been caught before, and he knew that his mother would punish him for it if he were caught. So he did what you'd expect a thief to do, he threw his leader under the bus, not literally. A simple kick in the leg dropped the child and gave James the time he needed to escape the scene. Fortune wasn't smiling on him though. He'd been in such a rush that he neglected the watch where he was going as he traveled onto a street. He was caught for Jaywalking, a much less severe crime than Burglary and Theft. He was of course punished by his mother, but it didn't stop his thieving, lying or lockpicking. Still, his betrayal of the gang leader left him isolated, and he barely managed to get by. It was around the end of his eleventh year when his father and mother began to quarrel. The fights became more and more common, and so was the violence between them. Eventually it reached a tipping point and his mother packed her belongings and hauled James off to England to live with her grandmother. Four years of practice here left him familiar with his area of the city, and he even founded his old gang among several English children, who were impoverished like he had been in New York. His mother disappear the year before the outbreak, off with some scientist who needed an assistant. They were studying fora and fauna in Indonesia. He never got along with his grandparents, they were strict and not tolerant of his habit of sneaking out at night. When the outbreak happened his first action was to pack his things and escape the city, meeting up with his gang under the bridge that was their hideout. Along with his gang he moved around the western half of London, recruiting boys and girls alike into his gang, renaming it the West London Gang. The gang quickly collected whatever equipment it could, including a few guns from dead military, baseball bats, Knifes, and even a range of Bows from a local archery club. James is the undisputed leader of the group, however under him is a group of three lieutenants. With these exceptions the group is highly socialist. All material is assigned by James and the Lieutenant, minus a few personal objects such as family photo's, heirlooms and the like. The West London Gang has managed to fortify themselves in the historic Tower Of London, having heard that the Crown Jewels were within it. Thought the group is in it's infancy, it seems that girls have an equal role to the boys. The group totals about 71 Teenagers and fourteen younger children.

It's been a while since I read them, so it probably wasn't Indonesia, but some Jungley country like that, maybe New Zealand.... I don't remember. Anyway, it was research teams exploring the jungle that first came in contact with the disease. When they came home, it infected everyone else.

He lived there untill he was 13 until his dad went to fort benning, to evade a medical discharge his father went to a assignment in germany, but thats when it happened the virus outbreak forced the plane to land in london and now he had to fend for himself. But before the virus he had a good life, he was in an upper middle class family and saw the US, he travelled alot and saw alot of places. He always wanted to see londo but not this way.

As devil's advocate, I could see some American or NATO guns being in circulation, but by no means would there be many.

So what do i need to edit besides the guns my characters fathers military background?

I think that's mostly it. Remove the military background (or at the very least have no military skills if you're just a military brat) and it should be good.
