Prince Loís Helps Fight Terror

Following the terror attack on Vioraux several days ago, many in Arpite have been quick to send their support, Prince Loís among them. Following the announcement from a Bhikkustani terror group that they were responsible for the attack, many Arpitois have called for Bhikkustan to increase it's anti terror funding. Prince Loís has stated that he will do whatever he can to help Bhikkustan overcome it's terror problems. However Prince Loís has denounced Khan Surevi calling Vioraux satan, stating that "There are far greater evils in this world than Vioraux. To call a nation Satan directly after a terror attack from a group located in your nation that has killed many of it's citizens is horribly disrespectful. Many have died, and all you can do is call their nation Satan. Disgusting." Prince Loís' brief statement was met with great support by many Arpitois. Prince Loís also stated that he offers his support to Vioraux and all the people caught in this horrific attack. "I will not allow terror to reign in this region. I call for all nations of this region to denounce these terrorists and help the fight against terrorists not just in Bhikkustan, but also elsewhere in the world, such as Jahe Davmwoem. We must not demonise the people of these nations, for in most if not all cases it is only the small minority of radicals which support the actions of such groups. In sanctioning countries facing terror problems one only serves to help the problem grow and expand."

Many other government officials have also spoken in support of Vioraux and Prince Loís' anti terrorism campaign. Ricard Castell, owner of Castell and Arpitois billionaire has also spoken in support of the campaign and Vioraux, saying that "We cannot allow these radical ideologies to exist, let alone thrive. We must strike the iron while it is hot and weak, not while it is cool and strong."

After hearing the statements by the Prince of Arpite many Moukeri citizens have been enraged. They took to the streets in protest. In response President Koto released a statement to the press. Here it is:
"My fellow Moukeri citizens, I personally, and I know many of you share my views, denounce this man prince Loís. He denounced Khan Surevi the benevolent, calling him disgusting and disrespectful. This is utter Hypocracy! This man has done so much for the poor and downtrodden of Moukere and indeed this region. When he is called out for statements regarding the super rich in a nation where poor people are not allowed rights, that really sticks my craw. Let this prince Loís come to Moukere, see the great strides we have wrought, then insult this great man again. Need I remind you that we were once a colony of Arpite? Where were they during our civil wars! Not to mention the slavery and extortion we were put through. We have received no compensation. Prince Loís, you are they bad one here, the rich man judging others. Check your Privelidge, and then judge one far more virtuous than you will ever be! Moukere stands together against your rascism and greed."

The crowd cheered for him, and the flags of Bhikkustan and Moukere were flown together, whilst the flags of Vioraux and Arpite were trampled into the mud.

Eurania to change its rail system

Eurania's government shall be adding new routes to its inter-city rail network, expanding to new cities, and a potential international tunnel/route across the islands. The national rail operator, Coalescence, along with other rail operators will also operate new trains, mainly from corporations such as Lyria. New models that can run on the same tracks will run and are being produced, while new track is also being laid.

The reason the rails are being renovated is due to the shabby state they are in. During the Second Communist Regime's rule, the rail network was forsaken, and as a result, it crumbled, yet it was still used by Euranians, to get to work and back, and transport goods across the country.

Arpite in Outrage

Following the statements by the Bhikkustani government, many Arpitois are in outrage. Prince Loís has issued a counter statement:

"Moukere was 170 years ago. 170 years ago. I was not prince at that time, I am not over 170 years old, do I really look that old? The statement that the rich have more rights than the poor is also an utter fallacy. We have an extensive welfare system, low unemployment, food welfare systems for the homeless and those without food, programs to help the homeless get back on their feet, extensive programs for veterans, and much more. Meanwhile, you have terrorist groups popping up left right and centre. I want to help the fight against terrorism, but you focus on bad deeds done by my ancestors whom I had no control over and use them as a reason to call me racist and greedy. The slavery the people of Moukere were put through was horrific, and I wish it had not happened. However, slavery of only one race was illegal in Arpite at the time and the Viceroy's actions had him executed later after we found out about his atrocities. He was guillotined. All forms of Slavery were illegalised by 1880. We did not come to your aid during your civil wars because you killed hundreds, if not thousands of our soldiers, most of whom were not guilty of any crime. The deaths of thousands of our soldiers is reparation and compensation enough. I will gladly go to Moukere. I will live amongst you, and show that it was my ancestors actions, not mine that caused the atrocities you speak of. Let me show you, let me show you that I am not the same man as my ancestors 170 years ago. That I am a good man. I wish no ill upon your people, and perhaps we may talk of compensation. But calling a man who had nothing to do with those atrocities racist and greedy is not a good way to get compensation. An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

Baron Cornelis returns from him being held captive in Keomora. He appeared to not have been harmed.

"Do not worry about your Baron. He is fine. Actually the worst I had to put up with would be having a bag on my head for a few minutes, and having to put up with the Keomoran accent." He said this to the laughter of the reporters. "But seriously, they were never taught diplomatic nicesities. What did they want with me? All of this hassle, and all they did was give me a few paintings." He motioned to the plane, and everyone saw three paintings being carried off.

The Baron left after this, saying he had to "rest and check up with Markus".

May 11, 2016 - It is exactly one month ago that the community elections (municipal elections) were finished and the exact outcome is presented. Nothing really changes in the north, but in the south the community of Akran, which is the only majority islamic district gets an absolute confessional majority in the community-council. The mayor becomes Ahmed Al Gudej, an extreme Muslim which started his career as anarchists but joined the politcs to lodge his critcs on the monarch. The community north of Akran, Desertpool, also gets an Islamic mayor but he is no extreme Muslim.

May 14, 2016 - Mayor Ahmed Al Guedj pushes a law to the community-council which does not allow homosexuals or trasngenders to express themselves in public. This law has huge support from the citizens of Akran.

May 15, 2016 - First Consul Melas reacts the following morning in a press conference. He asks mayor Ahmed Al Guedj to repeal the law immediatly because it is in contradictory with article I.I of the Imperialonian consititution. Ahmed responds that he is not planning to repeal the law because of the constitution of the northern "Crusaders”. The department government of Imperialo (the department in which Akran is located) asks the Secretariat if the law is contradictory with the constitution.

May 16, 2016 - The ordeal of the Secretariat is that the law is not contradictory with the constitution but gives the council to repeal it. The same day mayor Ahmed Al Guedj says he doesn’t even think of repealing and neglects the advice of the Secretariat and the judges. Consuls Melas and Wessel ask the Senate to overrule the law, when the Duces Bontaria, the Speaker of the Senate, adds it to the docket Melas is furious because it needs priority.

May 19, 2016 - The Senate blocks an overrule of teh law because of the Secretariat’s ordeal on May 16. Consul Melas then decides to dismiss mayor Ahmed Al Guedj. He orders the election of a new mayor of the community Akran, Ahmed is very angry and asks the people of Akran to protest. This happens and a huge protest occurs where rainbow flags, department flags and country flags are burned. Also a huge statue of Grand Duke Lucas is destroyed by the citizens. The police doesn’t react to it and Muslims occupy the community-council so that a new mayor-election can’t occur.

May 20, 2016 - Krateon Unifo, Great-General of the army receives the order from the defence ministry and Consul Melas to enter the city, even though it was not yet ratified by the Senate. A huge army marches into Akran and takes back the community-council. Mayor Ahmed Al Guedj and his loyal servants retreat to Youkraneana. Loyal police forces enter the city and arrest the supporters of Ahmed. The Senate is angry with this move of the Consul and asks him to justify himself in the Senate.

May 21, 2016 - Consul Melas has a breathtaking speech in the Senate in which he justifies what he did in Akran. His popularity rises enourmously, but the Senate isn’t okay with the violation of the law the day before and a unanimious Senate asks for a temporarily removal of Consul Melas. The Secretariat accepts the question of the Senate and freezes the power of Consul Melas. Second Consul Wessel refuses to work without Melas. There are loud protests against this move in the north, although the south seems to be happy with it. Great-General Krateon Unifo is also placed out of power.

May 28, 2016 - A communist revolt occurs in the Imperial Oversea Territory of Imperialonian-Sadievi. In the same time former mayor Ahmed Al Guedj returns from Youkraneana with a small army and marches towards Akran. He manages to invade the community again and proclaims the Islamic Republic of Imperialonia. He says he won’t stop with his invasion till the flag of his nation also waves in the capital Frosto.

May 29, 2016 -Communists in Hania (island of Imperialonian-Sadievi) manage to proclaim the Socialist Republic of Hania. Governor-General Jonathan Seaheart of Imperialonian Sadievi, a true monarchist, immediatly strikes back with an army and takes the republic. He mobilises the whole army of Imperialonian-Sadievi, which are about a number of 200.000 soldiers.

May 30, 2016 -All the happening concern the Senate enourmously, but there are no heads of state. On May 30 the Senate says the will proclaim the Republic of Great-Imperialonia if Consuls Melas and Wessel do not go back to work within 24 hours and sign the new agreement in which Melas has to recognise his action on May 20 as a fault. The citizens of the northern departments New-Cristo, Nordonia, Numeldon and Frostonia are furious. Consul Melas knows this and gives a speech for the whole country in which he says he does not agree with the Senate and won’t help them. He aslo asks the people to protest against the government. Consul Wessel goes back to work again, but as soon as he takes charge again as interim First High Consul he dissolves the Senate. Great-Imperialonia has no central government anymore!

May 31, 2016 - The Secretariat orders the complete abdication of the two Consuls and Melas and Wessel are forced to abdicate. Wessel goes to Christchurch in New-Cristo where an army of 100.000 soldiers is loyal to the monarchy. Melas goes to Jonathan in Imperialonian-Sadievi and Krateon Unifo to Sirenia in Nordonia, where an other loyal army of 100.000 is located. The Secretariat proclaims the Republic of Great-Imperialonia. A civil war is now inevitable…

Atdent System Open To Voluntary Public Sign-Up
Following Successful Roll Out of System in Government and Private Sectors, Public to Be Given Option to Enter Identity Card and Biometric System

With deployment and testing of the new government biometric and identity card system across government agencies and several private companies, the government has announced that the system will begin to open to the public on an opt-in system. Carrying the Atdent card will ensure swift and easy access to public services, especially new public healthcare systems, by giving these public services swifter access to user information. Use of the system will entail providing the government basic biometric data, including fingerprints and retinal scans. DNA information can also be provided, but is not necessary for entry into the national database or use of services.

So far, Atdent has been successful at increasing government work efficiency, and has shown similar results in private businesses. In addition, security agents at government facilities have remarked that use of the system has made security tighter but also easier. Individuals are able to track government officials' use of time based on the Atdent scan-in/scan-out system on www.atdent.atn.gov, providing unprecedented transparency in government day-to-day operations. The system has been widely lauded, although some critics suggest that public use of the system could give the government wide-ranging and dangerous powers, particularly in regards to tracking of its citizens. Some experts question how the system could be implemented alongside such currently installed programs as the Bastion network.

Private corporations, such as Heron Technologies and Galahad Arms, have already implemented Atdent in their offices and factories as an employee time-tracking system. They note increases in efficiency as high as 75%.

"I think what our implementation of the system proves is that if people know they are being watched, they are unwilling to waste time or break rules in ways that could cause problems for everyone," says Bartimaeus Yorke of the Hegemonic Quorum, former head of Stone Wall's Special Projects Division.

Afram Kwaku, also of the Quorum, is a little more upbeat. "The system shows a willingness to put safety and hardwork at the forefront. Atnaians are going to be given access to better and better public services. Not just some Atnaians, but all Atnaians. The Atdent system is a first step towards public peace and prosperity."

Citizens can receive their Atdent numbers and cards at any local Prefectorial Administration building.

Monarchist army arrives to overthrow the republic!

200.000 troops left the oversea province Imperialonian-Sadievi and arrived in the huge and important harbour city Icle, also the capital of the department Numeldon and the community Icle. The fresh troops arrived 6 o'clock in the morning and after a few bombings in some suburbs they started with the invasion. It wasn't very hard since there was not really an uprise against monarchism or the royals. It is still unclear if former Consul Melas was with the armies. Governor-General Jonathan was certaintly with them. 18:30 the last Imperialonian republican troops surrendered and Icle became monarchistic again.

The monarchist army also had some landings elsewhere in the country. All of them were succesfull, except one on the border of the departments Novanian and Imperialo. The troops were outnumbered and defeated while trying to invade the community of Laktown in the department Imperialo. Republican troops were also highly supported in Laketown by the citizens.
The self-proclaimed Islamic Republic also won a lot of land today in the south of the department Imperialo. But it is unlikely they will conquer much more communities since the other communities around the proclaimed lands are heavily armed.

It is likely that the monarchists will try to invade the metropolitan city of Imperialo in the comming days. Frosto will probably also fall very soon because almost 76% condemns the proclaimed Republic of Great-Imperialo and about 83% likes the Consuls.

OSTER TORK MISSILE ACES THIRD FULL TEST BY INTERCEPTING TARGET IN SPACE

The Ministry of Defense reported Thursday morning that its third mid-course interception trial for its new missile was completed successfully, in a major breakthrough for Ostehaar's missile defense systems. The trial was conducted shortly after 8 AM local time when an Oster Air Force jet flew east into the sea, from where it launched targets designed to simulate enemy missiles flying towards Ostehaar.

The IM-1 Tork (Oster word for Claw) system identified the targets while they were still in space by using its array of sensors, including the S9 Vostar radar built by the Institute for Special Developments (ISD) and EE Industries. The interceptor missile, built by the ISD and Satre Aerospace, was launched at 8:12 from the Maaneris Air Force Base. By 8:17 the system had selected from among several objects flying through space - each not much larger than a one liter bottle of Coke - and steered its warhead into a direct hit of the correct target, program officials said.

Miklanian officials participated in the trial this morning; Miklania has contributed about half of the yearly funding for the Tork's development, since its inception. "The interception was accurate, unequivocally," said Johan Si Rehmort, director the the IM-1 project. "The systems worked as expected and the interceptor hit the target dead center."


The moment of impact

As part of the successful test, the kill vehicle intercepted its target outside the atmosphere. The goal designated for the kill vehicle in Thursday's trial was to reduce shrapnel below the interception site. "This is an incredible achievement, well beyond our expectations. There was a wonderful hit on the target," said Elena Truhger, general manager of the ISD's missile division.

High-altitude mid-course interceptions are meant to safely destroy an incoming nuclear, biological or chemical warhead, before its target or trajectory is identified. The Tork missile interceptors are designed to intercept more than five ballistic missiles within 30 seconds at altitudes of over 100 kilometers (62 miles). The milestone test paves the way towards low-rate initial production of the exo-atmospheric interceptor.

Lt. Liu's Hearing Commences

Today, Lt. Omar Liu presented himself before Parliament today in the first day of his hearing for the post of Defense Minister. Liu faced intense questioning from all sides of the aisle, mostly regarding both his battle as well as his management experience. However, today was largely a preliminary hearing regarding Liu's intended policies as Defense Minister, which included increased diplomatic approaches towards the rest of TWI, including Jahe. However, this session was attacked by many critics, including free speech and Net Neutrality activist Paul Astra, saying that given the current accusations of nepotism, it is absolutely vital that the people of Carpestan know who is going to be representing their country's armed forces.

The girls of Girls Sensation gave the residents of Old Starsia a dazzling performance today.

We have started to trade with Doubi and have allowed Doubi Soldiers into Aussie.
After a lot of meetings Doubi has offered to protect Aussie if anything bad was to come to it.
This is expected to help out Aussie when New Zealand finally attacks Australia.
Just kidding, they couldn't attack Vatican City.

Aussie Election Soon
Soon we will have the great Aussie election.
The election runs much like the American election but it has four parties.
The party's MP's are decided beforehand and the people vote for the two parties to be in to win.
Once they have only two parties left they vote for one of those parties.
Overall it works really well.

Brutal Murder in Redwood!
Man Killed In Broad Daylight, Killer at Large

A brutal scene unfolded this morning in Redwood, as a jogger was killed in broad daylight at Market Square at 6:00 AM. Eyewitnesses claim that as the victim jogged past Wallace Fountain, a man (described as tall, dressed in dark clothing and covering his face in a scarf or half-mask), intercepted him and stabbed the victim three times before slamming his head against the fountain. Before action could be taken, the killer managed to escape the square.

While the name of the victim has yet to be released, a few eyewitnesses claim to have recognized him from "telly or something". Police claim that, had the attack been made a few hours later, it would have been doubtful that the assailant could have escaped, due to day-time police presence and the busy nature of the square, but due to low foot traffic at the early morning hours such measures were not in place. This has led some to speculate that perhaps the attack was pre-meditated or professional.

This attack is likely to bring up debate in the local administrative department regarding the need for a local Bastion network in Redwood. Furthermore, one eyewitness speculated that the attack may have been the work of a copycat vigilante, following last week's execution of the Ambress Vigilante following her very swift public trial.

UPDATE

11:00: Authorities have confirmed the identity of the victim: Omar Patience, who was arrested in 2012 in connection to corporate fraud, organized crime and money laundering. Patience organized a deal wherein he provided information to federal investigators that helped an unprecedented takedown of the organization he was involved with. He was granted freedom under a witness protection program. Current speculation is that this may have been a hit connected with his history with criminal organizations.

HIGH SECURITY AT PALATINE MANOR AFTER GUNSHOTS WERE FIRED

A few moments ago, the Palatine Manor, the official residence of the Prime Minister is under high security alert after gunshots were fired outside the house. Praetorian Guards have closed off the area to vehicular traffic and passer-by civilians are not permitted to be in the area. At about 11:26 Am it is reported that gunshots were heard to the west of the house, an investigation was conducted and it was found that a bullet that was fired entered the morning room of the house, where the Prime Minister and the President meets twice weekly. Head of the Praetorian Guards Samis Stone, confirmed a few moments ago that the perpetrator who is believed to have committed the act has been found and taken into custody. Mr. Stone believes the individual is a part of a terrorist organisation.

"We can confirm at this time that the individual that we believe committed the act has been captured and is being questioned at this time. We have evidence that points to the individual being a part of a terrorist organisation. We are not sure if it is homegrown terrorist or foreign."

The Prime Minister and his family was not at the house when the incident occurred.

COVONANT INTRODUCES BIOMETRICS INTO ITS REVISED DATA SYSTEM

The Government of Covonant has announced the introduction of biometrics in its data system. At the opening of the National Biometrics and Data Institute (NBDI), Prime Minister Imperatus Marl attested to the Union needing to become less bureaucratic in its day to day operation which he believes will be achieved with the new system in place. Covonant follows other nations in using Biometric, just recently the Atnaian government announced that they will be using Biometrics in their public system. Minister of Energy, Science and Technology Cassia Shaw applauded the institute stating it will allow government to be more efficient and add to the greater security of the country. Head of the NBDI Santori Bacchia explains that the system will lead to important services being delivered more efficient and help improve the country's crime rate which stands currently at 2.4%

"I would implore those who think this is a breach of their privacy to look at it more as a means to provide efficient service adding to the security of all Covonantians. The system will be phased out on July 1, where we advise all citizens to be registered on the system online at http://www.natbiodata.cov.gov. We plan to introduce the system in the public health services, public education and international travels."

Mr. Bacchia expressed that the biometrics will be in the form of DNA samples, eye-retina scan, and finger scan. He noted that all foreigners looking to travel to Covonant for vacation, business, healthcare, or education is expected to do the biometrics test. All Covonatian citizens and permanent residents in the Union are advised to do the biometrics test and be placed on the data system.

Those on the system will be given a identification card that will be necessary in order to be granted services in the union. Many have voiced concerns that it allows the government to track their movements. Mr. Bacchia assures that individuals who are of concern to the government will be the ones targeted.

NAVY TO HAVE LARGE CARRIER BY YEARS END

At the Ministry of Security and Defense (Maxmum), the Minister of Security and Defense, Batiatus Sula has announced that by the end of 2016 Covonant should add another carrier to its naval fleet. The Minister also announced that a few fleets will also be added.

"We recognise growing tensions in the region and Covonant's presence in international affairs, which is why we saw it necessary to improve on our navy. We already have a equipped navy but we seek to be more equipped and prepared for any event that may be of concern to the Union."

The Minister noted that work on the carrier had commenced in 2006 but operations seized in 2011 as a result of financial constraints.

The Minister also announced the revising of the current navy fleet operations and rotations.

"Presently we are looking to have our navy placed at strategic locations around the Isle, that is coming to fruition which is why we need to revise our fleet positions and rotations. No longer can our navy be in Covonant, we have to see our services at every point in the Isle to secure our interest abroad and add to Covonantian citizens security abroad."

SPACE PROGRAMME ON TRACK

Minister of Energy, Science and Technology Cassia Shaw, has assured that the announced space programme is on track to commence by mid 2017. The proposed Aerospace Administrative Agency which is to be the national space agency is on target for opening in mid 2017. The Minister made the announcement at the launch of the National Biometrics and Data Systems in Devios City, Devios silencing those who have made claims that its a dead vision.

"I have heard the concerns from those who believe that we are not making good on our word of having a national space programme, but I can assure that by mid 2017 that vision of a national space programme will be realised."

Talks of a national space programme began in late 2010 with the previous Giovanni Shalone government making the announcement. The last time mention of the national space programme was made was at the beginning of 2016 which the government has announced its of great national importance that this vision is achieved.

Lt. Liu's Hearing Continues Amidst Intense Criticism

Lt. Liu's testimony for the position of Defense Minister before Parliament continued today in the face of intense and mounting criticism. However, today marked a startling turn of events when MP Gregory Hoboken, notorious for being a contrarian CSP member, touched the increasingly controversial topic of Liu's past, including specific details of his activities during his time in the Marine Corps and while working at Henderson-Hasselbach. His personal history has been a subject which critics maintain has been lacking in substantial presence in these hirings and giving rise to accusations of nepotism and corruption on part of Liu as more and more continues to come to the forefront.

The net result has been a significant change in poll numbers. It seems as examination and scrutiny from NGOs and journalists continues, the desire to see Liu appointed and confirmed as Defense Minister is significantly less among Carpestanis. 51% answered in the last poll for the National Polling Service that Gen. Liu should be Defense Minister. However, that number has dropped to 46%, with 45% saying that Liu should not be Defense Minister, and 9% remaining indifferent or ambiguous.

Piet Pondes attacks Nepotism and Family-Based politics in other nations!

"Greetings fellow proud Imperials. If you are listening to me, it is either because you along with me believe in a stronger Imperial Homeland, free of foreign influence, or you are simply curious about the new ideas an old composer is speaking of. Either way, I thank you all for taking the time to watch this or listen from your radios.

I want to speak to you about a rather disturbing trend. I know, you tire of hearing of those inferior nations, and trust me, I am tired of speaking of them. But they do exist unfortunately, and we must speak of them to know how to solve the problem.

So what is this trend? It is simply the trend of family based politics and Nepotism in foreign nations. I know what they will say. Is the cousin of the Imperial Emperor not the leader of the Civilian Government? He is, but not because of his last name. He could be a Brandy, a Choulk, or whatever last name you will, and he would still be there, and this is because of his great skill and contributions to the nation.

However, let me start with Keomora, which actually surprisingly is the lesser of the two evils at least in today's subject. They have an Prime Minister who is also the Empress, who also has the most notable last name in Keomora. That country is a political disaster, who were desperate after men of supposedly same higher values debated for days, rejecting every candidate, and finally voted on a joke. It is a miracle that they even govern themselves now. How they even had an Empire is beyond me.

Now to the greater offender, Carpestan. Their candidate, Lt. Omar Liu, is a friend of the Presidents wife! He has a questionable past, and he has not been open to settling the questions once and for all. The MPs, most of whom without a doubt are in the presidents pocketbook, do not even try to question this. The only person to do so so far is Gregory Hoboken. You sir, are a true hero, and what you nation quite frankly needs, someone to stand up to the corruption.

Now, you must all want to hear of the beacon of light called Jahe Davmwoem. We have held together in the face of embargos. Why they even thought that would work, when we never liked their cheap products in the first place, is beyond me. But I will say that our goods are going to Dechen, Eutristan, and other various, much more deserving nations. So far well for now Imperials. Just prepare yourself to be the good willed force that the world does not deserve, but desperately needs.

Frosto again taken by the loyal army, republicans preparing for battle of Imperialo

In the start of the evening was the flag of the Republic of Great-Imperialonia replaced by unoffical monarchist flag of Great-Imperialonia. After a two day battle the city of Frosto is finnaly taken by the armies or former Consul Melas and former Consul Wessel. The republican armies were in the disadvantage because most citizens of the capital city supported the monarchists as well.

"This is a huge victory for me, for the army and for the whole country. We gained our historical heart back, and I would like to thank all people who still had faith in us as Consuls. We will prove you that you weren't wrong!" so said Melas in his palace again.

The loyal army is mostly in advantage when fighting in the north, since the department governments of New-Cristo and Nordonia already promised their full support in the civil war. In the department of Frostonia most people support the loyal army, but the department government did not pledge loyalty to the Consuls and chose the side of the Republic. At this moment the capital city of Frostonia, and the capital city of Great-Imperialonia is conquered by monarchists again. Icle was also already taken by monarchists, so two of the three most important citites are already taken back.
The monarchist armies in the north will probably just march across the Blue Mountains and into the department of Rivierpendola, which also chose republican side.

Now the north is secured it is more likely that the loyal army will focus on the metropolitan city of Imperialo completely. Imperialo has about 5 million people, and the urban area about 7 million, which is around 30% of the entire population of Great-Imperialonia. The self proclaimed Republican government of Great-Imperialonia chose Imperialo as their capital city, which is not really surprising since around 65-70% of the population is against the monarchy or royals there.
In Imperialo is a huge republican army ready for the fight. The battle in the department of Imperialo is already non-stop busy, since the south is slowly invaded by the self proclaimed Islamic Republic of Imperialonia and Ahmed Al-Guedj. They are not really a threat any more since their army is not well suplied and their ideology is only supported in the utmost south of the country around the border of Youkraneana.

The north of the urban area is today taken by the loyal army, but they were blocked when trying to march south. The Siege of Imperialo is inevitable because the monarchists can only gain full power in the country if the can invade that city. For the republicans is this city also important since it is the last stronghold for them. If they lose this city they completly lose the civil war. If they manage to keep this city, the country will probably be split again between the monarchist north and the republican south. But a referendum, which took place in december 2015 showed that 97% of the population of the north did not want this, but also that 64% of the south was against it. So we wait patiently what the future might bring.

A newly founded nation named Vaskraut was recently established politically. Congress and political parties have been set up and elections will begin soon. Vaskraut is a socialist nation with a few capitalist policies. The government of Vaskraut is still in its early stages and is without allies. Very soon the nation of Vaskraut will appear more internationally. The government has issued protectionism trade, allowing the nation to tax imports to aid local companies, as the tax rate is quite high for corporations. Vaskraut is a pacifist nation and thereby will have a very small army.




AND, Vaskraut will promote pacifism in future relations.

Eutristan builds military base in Dechen

Eustristan, upon invite, has started moving into a military base of the shores of Dechen, the base will be shared between the two forces, for a goal of, "Greater Military Autonomy", as stated by the Führer.

The Deche are interested to see how another country's military operates, and eagerly await working and training with the Eutristan people.

MP Gregory Hoboken Condemns Piet Pondes



In a press conference today, MP Gregory Hoboken of Al-Hathyaar County issued the following statement regarding Piet Pondes' comments:

Yesterday, I was praised by the leader of Jahe Davmwoem, Mr. Piet Pondes, for standing up to corruption within the borders of this great nation. He is not wrong. I joined the CSP as a young man 29 years ago because I felt that it stood up for the rights of working Carpestanis, for the enamblement of integrity, but most of all for the right to free inquiry. He is right that in light of the refusal to aggressively inquire after Lt. Liu's controversial past, I felt it to be a patriotic duty as a public servant of this land to take this disgraceful deficiency to task.

However, let there be no mistake. Piet Pondes is still a very dangerous man. He has only praised me, hoping to suck me in to the dark vortex of influence that is Jahe Davmwoem. I reject the so-called "praise" of someone who, if given the opportunity, would not hesitate to put us under the sword of theocratic tyranny. His comments of yesterday reflect a senile, power-hungry fool with the desire to stir up more radical, authoritarian elements within our borders and induce us into an epoch of darkness. People like Piet Pondes are the kind that represent the bottomless pit of degradation and I am appalled that he would use an impending controversy in our country to depict me and others concerned with the rise of establishment politics as his supporters and orchestrate disarray.

Mr. Pondes, shame on you.
