The grey wardens are defender-aligned. I'm teasing them into getting on the field and defending, becuase I've never seen a raid of Christmas last this long without a massive pile on it. Clear?

A Warden watches for darkspawn activity

While on his travels searching for suitable warriors to join the Order, First Warden Benevolent Thomas has taken multiple opportunities to aim his bow at the enemy. His first update back saw him defend five vulnerable regions from a duo of darkspawn hailing out of HYDRA Command and The Kingdom of Great Britain. The following morning the First Warden thwarted an invasion of SPACE by a council of darkspawn that call themselves reapers. This was followed by the liberation of Japanese Empire from a Broodmother and her spawn. He continues to ride far and wide, looking for the best to accompany him. If you believe that you're up to the challenge, do not hesitate to volunteer. May glory await you.

New recruits lining up to take their oath.

The Wardens are coming! In just a few short days our numbers have grown from one to seven. The recruits have been busy too, leading the charge into our first operations as a unit. It all began with a defense of Marxist Leninist International Union from The League of Conservative Nations. Once spotted by the First Warden, defenders swarmed on the invasion attempt, overwhelming the unprepared foe. Blitze of the SDF would have the honors of wielding the banhammer.

The following night we split into two groups in order to secure multiple regions while not being able to attend update ourselves. Recruits Edenroc and Deadeye Jack worked together to get their vials of darkspawn blood while the First Warden lead a second operation which saw assistance from defender forces. Tonight the Wardens voyaged into the black in order to hunt a few more darkspawn scoring defenses against PRC, The Union of Productiveness and the same Broodmother as the other day.

While the First Warden was enjoying himself to excess at The Staggering Griffon, newly named Commander of the Grey Deadeye Jack bathed in the glory of the battlefield. His first act as Commander was the defense of Sovereign Charter from a whole horde of darkspawn. Jack then took out a den of blightwolves alongside TITO, RDF, SDF, RRA and the UDL. This epic outing could not be a saga without a third act. The Commander soloed a defense of a region at the expense of a darkspawn commune. His sword stained with the red of the red.

Ah ha! So it was the Grey Wardens who foiled our plans in The United Federations of Planets? I was quite surprised actually, wasn't expecting that raid to fail.

I just want to say, though I'll go into more detail when I get the time to write a proper report: This weekend was crazy. TBH alone participated in four consecutive updates consisting of six attempted operation jumps with three different allied orgs leading and one in which we led an ally. I also know of several other raids, including an LWU one, that happened this weekend. It was one of the best couple of days I've ever seen in terms of activity...but one of the worst for effectiveness. Of those six ops we attended, only two - HYDRA's Big Banks and TBH's last night, were hits. One of the misses was pure poor timing, but the other three can be attributed to amazing defender activity- and HYDRA's hit and the timing miss still saw amazingly large and fast defender turnout. That's, even discounting raider error, an effectiveness rate of around 50%.

There's a reason why I selected a passworded target from our lineup for our hit last major.

The increase in precision, planning, and attentiveness necessary for a hit has skyrocketed since TGW became active again. If you keep this up, we can't be lazy anymore. Thanks for bringing the challenge back to the game.

-Souls

It's been ages since I've seen this many defenders O_O
(Or maybe first time? Since I don't know everyone for 10+ years like everyone else seems to in this game.)
Stop giving misogynistic abusers a platform. Anyone who sides with Tiktok Star Andrew Tate even 1% of what he says will be treated as enemy who should be shamed out of society. Impressions+Views+Videowatches=$. Nothing he says is new or revolutionary. I don't care if he said "some good stuff", it's still bad because: the more you watch him, the more ad revenue MONEY and algorithm BOOSTS you're giving him to traffick victims. And don't say the victim lied, a young man stupidly told me that the victim confessed to lying, I told em to link me proof, articles or the Audio of her confession, he googled and found 0 proof 0 articles, and he realized he was spreading fake rumors he heard and BELIEVED without fact-check. Don't brand victims as liars without GOOGLING. Debated here
