Atlas Biotech Corporate Office, Nevada
"Good."
Salk had appeared behind them. "I don't know if he's just cracked or if some weird Zone blowfly larva is eating through his brain or what, but that guy belongs in a straitjacket. We should lock him in one of the offices and leave him behind at first light. Maybe tie him up while he's comatose, just to be safe." Salk jerked a thumb at Krausser. "I trust Colonel Klink over here more than that grinning weirdo, and he's a goddamned Nazi. No offense."
Salk sighed as he paced around the group. "Be a pity if we do have to leave in a hurry, though. I want to see what's behind that big door, and I think we might have a way through. I didn't get to grab anything back at the lab."
At last, Salk noticed the man on the ground, being tended to by Deckard. "What happened to him?"
