Name: Samuel Väyrynen
Age: 20
Nationality: Swedish and finnish, although primarily the first one.
Location of Current Residence: Malung military base, south west of Mora.
Reason for Boarding the Sveavägen Railway:
Biography: Samuel was born in a poor family outside of Mora. His father, born in Finland owned a small farm he received from the government, and his mother was a maid. As the youngest of three children he would not inherit the farm when the time came and had to find work elsewhere if he wanted to make something out of himself. He decided to quit working on the farm after dropping out of school and joined the military instead, at the age of 14. Short education and training on the military academy did not prepare him for the inhospitable wilderness of the Silent world, but he proved himself bright, concise and capable and managed to live through dangerous situations as a cleanser. Years went and he became more and more experienced, maturing after observing the most horrible scenes. After damaging his knee severely in an unlucky fight against a troll, he was sent away from service temporarily to recover. He spent time at a recovering enclosure before visiting his home. He would then receive a well paid off-service mission to deliver a personal letter to a retired danish army officer. Uniformed and armed with crutches, he makes himself ready to limp himself to Bornholm with this new quicker transport to the south.
Items in Baggage: Rusty hunting rifle with limited ammo, pain pills, two packs of cigarettes and a lighter with the swedish flag, letter to danish officer, a set of clean civilian clothes, a box of quality pencils, a detailed diary from years in the field and a pair of binoculars. A pot of home-made soup and some money ('some money' is what the military gave him prior to the departure. Not much) as well.
Appearance: Samuel is skinny (Yeah, you loose weight laying around in a bed and barely eating for months) and hardly taller than the average. He has cold blue eyes and black short hair.
Language Capabilities: Speaks fluent swedish and finnish, can make himself understood in norwegian and danish. Has a hard time with icelandic.
Cat: No cat brought with him. Has experience with cats in the field.
Personality: Will probably expand in IC, but mostly appears to be quiet, earnest and resentful. Does not hesitate to do what he can to help others though, and knows what to do in most situations.
Other Information: Don't really know what to add.

Plzen wrote:Oh, right. Parous, you said you're Swedish, right? That might explain a lot of your errors.
In English, you also capitalise the derivative forms of proper nouns. This is different from Swedish which, to my knowledge, only capitalises the proper noun itself.
So in Swedish, what might go Sverige, svenska, svenskarna will all be capitalised in English, for Sweden, Swedish, the Swedes.
Just a for-your-information.
