Ah, I see. I suppose it depends on how diligent in their study of English your fellow students are. If they're like you, though, would you know they were Vietnamese, or would you just suspect they were American?

Also, I commend the choice of English over French from a practical perspective. French certainly has some pleasant aesthetic qualities to it, but if you can only pick one Western language in this Information Age of ours, English is clearly the one to pick.
