Imperial Rangers Serving with Elite Foreign Military Service

Knight-Paladin John Juliani has served with the Rangers for many years and now commands an elite squad of his own. Here the esteemed officer shares a little bit of his own experiences abroad.

The Optimus Equites, better known as the Birtonian Imperial Rangers have existed as long as the name Birtonian has. Since the destruction of the unrepresentative monarchy, the Rangers have been around the world exerting Birtonian justice. Surgical strikes, shock and awe campaigns, policing actions, you name it, the Rangers have done it. Additionally they are directly responsible for the close protection of the Imperator and less importantly the Miles Regium.

Interestingly, one small squad is actually sent out to work with a multinational foreign special operations group known as ATLAS.

"What we officially do is support ATLAS operations worldwide" said Juliani as he set down his rifle across from me in the bar within Fort Bragg.

"Otherwise we are here to supplant the Imperators will where ever he deems fit."-J

"How do you feel about Imperial military working in concert with foreign nationals?" -E

"These other outfits, most of them are pretty great but there's a few, whom I won't mention that could use some work. I believe that the Rangers do serve as an example of what a true elite fighting force looks, moves and shoots like." -J

"What about the rest of the Imperium Militare?" -E

"I don't quite think the rest of the country is ready for the.... experiences that we have acquired." -J

After the quick exchange I was informed by the teams Commissar that they were preparing for a a mission and I was told to cut and leave. But as short as it was citizens, it is good to hear that our Rangers are out there showing the rest of the world what Imperial soldiers are really like and how powerful our Empire really is.

Trouble in Tranzotia

The Imperium Militare is sometimes utilized to keep foreign nationals in line when they threaten the well-being of innocents.


Over the past few months the far off land of Tranzotia has been undergoing quite a bit of turmoil. You may have seen other reports the Administratum has issued regarding the situation in addition to travel restrictions of the region. Most importantly precious minerals required in the upkeep of our Imperium have been found within the country and likely to be utilized and sold to our enemies.

The Ministorium Defensoris has ordered a Military Expeditionary Unit to enter Tranzotia. While in country the unit is tasked with clearing out all hostile forces and ensuring the country remains stable while a provisional government is being rebuilt.

From contacts within the Imperium Militare, I have gathered that the 562nd Infantry will be leading the assault into Tranzotia. They have been nationally recognized in previous engagements such as Yarmala and Vazykstan and are unofficially called the "Imperator's Basterds".

Here at the Birtonia Reportio Administratum, we wish the 16th MEU a safe voyage and glorious combat!

Imperial Occupation Forces En Route to aid Battered Allies

Vangaziland has been a long term ally to the Imperium, it is time our people return the favor

Recent events in the city state of Al-Khalifiya, a war torn isolatinist paradise across the world have brought it to the global eye. Vangaziland was subjected to terror attacks just a few years prior to today and their intelligence sources pointed towards the country that incidentally was filled with rich amounts of valuable minerals. During the initial invasion, Adeptus Aerus and Terram forces along with the Optimus Equites assisted defeat of the enemy air power in the region and capture of strategic air fields. During the change into our Imperium, Militare forces pulled out of the region allowing Vannish troops to occupy the country as they saw fit.

Fast forward to now and we have a large coalition of allied states moving in to assist Vangaziland, whether that be out of pure intentions or to carve up the country for resources is yet to be seen. However now that the Imperium Militare is at the strength our Holy Imperator wills it, we may now utilize some of our forces to assist allies in their time of need.

The glorious 562nd Infantry "The Imperators' Basterds" will be occupying an area yet to be determined within the region. The regiment has recently been authorized a full strength of 9 total infantry companies, two of which are mechanized with artillery and aviation support attached for the campaign.

As I sign off, any moment now the 562nd should be arriving in the region.

The Imperium Grows!

The Imperator weds

Our Most Glorious Imperator, Alsonius Vera Lontilii, Ruler of the Imperium, commander of the Imperium Militare and righteously given to the people of Birtonia. He alone had consolidated us into our perfect and most efficient current state, taking what the Miles Regium had started when seceding from the Kingdom of Birtonia those few, but long years ago.

In recent events the Imperator was rumored to be visiting foreign countries and meeting with both figures of high importance as well as nobility on our global neighbors. Countries of importance as well as those occupied by the Imperium Militare were all possible courting locations for out Imperator.

However it appears our future Imperessa would not actually be so far from home. Though most of the Miles Regium had daughters all of age to be wed to the Imperator none had caught his eye, therefore he abandoned any chance of finding a woman worthy of holding position as his wife. That is until Victoria Katerina Heisner, caught the Imperators eye at a Gala held in The Spire.

The two quickly spent more and more time together in far off exotic locations across the Imperium and beyond.

Military Orbital Bombardment Platform

Long has humanity wished to be among the stars, since the days of our early ancestors to the cold war not so long ago it was a race to see who would get there first. Though the Imperium was not the first to orbit the Earth or land upon the Moon, we always knew that one day our time would come. In recent years the Adeptus Aerus has, under tight security measures, secretly conducted trade with several foreign weapons companies in order to procure suitable orbital vehicles, rockets to launch our people into orbit combined with the massive manufactorums that dot our country led to something simply wonderful.

Earlier this month the finishing touches on several high profile projects were completed thanks to the best and brightest minds of the Imperium Militare working around the clock to meet the Imperators dreams. An military battle station in geosynchronous orbit around the world, capable of launching ballistic missiles, both nuclear and non nuclear without warning to our enemies. This facility will be manned by specially trained operators of the Adeptus Aerus. The station will be known as the Imperial Orbital Battle Station, a shorter nickname has yet to be christened, but we can expect one soon. In to keep the armament accurate a massive network of military satellites have been sent into orbit as well, providing constant data streams, refreshing every four minutes as another satellite takes over from the previous as they complete their orbit, the massive computing data required to keep them from running into each other is stored on and operated at the IOBS.

However the most exciting news to date is the newest Military Outpost of the Imperium, on Luna. In addition to the uptick in military spenditure towards orbital delivery vehicles, a source that I cannot name at this time helped facilitate construction of a military outpost on our moon. This facility will help with Military Research & Development in addition with Command & Control of IOBS. Furthermore this claims the moon as sovereign Imperial territory and we hope will further space conquest for us.

Paradisum

Newly Established Imperial Colony

On this 23rd day of April, the year 2017 of the Imperium, we break ground here on the Island named "Paradisum" way out here in the Oceanus Pacificus. It is a large stretch of islands, roughly 807 miles long, made up of approximately 30-40 separate islands, now under the claim and protection of The Imperium. Glorious vistas and rich resources have been found and explorator teams are continuing their journeys now to see what else this place has to offer. As I write this report, massive Adeptus Classis ships are just off shore, unloading large connector vehicles and air cushion craft, ferrying supplies, vehicles, and men to the shores here.

Documents have been declassified straight from the Miles-Regium and The Imperator himself showing future plans for "Paradisum". Several outlying islands will be utilized exclusively for military purposes, including all branches of the Imperium Militare, keeping the colony under Adeptus Classis command however. Soon enough, civilian centers for population distribution and workforce placement will be opening, providing a viable economy and bolstering The Imperiums Tresarium!
