Inside Aljahim! What happened after the war?

Following the Guppychalian international war, a war which managed to wipe Guppychal completely off the face of global politics. The nation fell into a state of utter decay. Losing 2/3 of it's territory and went into complete anarchy. Only shreds of civilization remain after the devastating mass zenocide of the Guppychalian people. The "Country" is now undergoing reformations, and the few remaining citizens are wondering why nobody took control of the ruined "Country". However a new leader has appeared, by the name of Lucas Matthews. The leader of the "Hell's Retribution" Clan. A group of 10,000 who have taken over the ruin of Pegasia. And have renamed it Aljahim (شمتشاهپ) Meaning Hell. There are currently 45 other "Clans" in Guppychal, all fighting to claim cities. Meanwhile killing, beating, stealing and raping others. Who are in turn doing the same thing. The country is in a state of complete Anarchy. Most citizens have either died, or mutated severely from the fallout.

Nuclear Blast Detected in Hesperia!

As Hesperian leader Baruch S. Jesaias continues to make threats against his enemies around the world, many observers have come to believe that the suspected Hesperia nuclear programme may be underway again, having been discontinued after the AU-led invasion of the country. These theories seemed to have been confirmed yesterday afternoon, when a magnitude 5 seismic disturbance was reported off the coast of Hesperia.

Following the incident, a representative of the Hesperian government released a statement congratulating the atomic researchers’ achievement, citing that a 40 kiloton nuclear warhead had been detonated underground on the island Hesperathusa.

If this statement is true, then this incident is the first time that Hesperia has detonated a nuclear weapon since 1979, when an underwater test was reported.

Outside observers have long suspected that Hesperia has had a nuclear programme beginning in the 1950’s, when the country was a strong ally of Exaequatio, that culminated in the famous 1979 test. However, after the revolution and ensuing civil war that didn’t end until 1991, the programme was reportedly discontinued. (These ideas are all estimates, as Hesperia has never admitted to operating a nuclear programme.)

Before the AU-led invasion, David V. Sidas refused to either deny or confirm that the HPRDF government was re-launching the programme, and for years the Hesperian government has promised that it would “not be the first country to introduce WMDs into the Delian Sea.” Now, with Jesaias at the helm, this philosophy seems to have been abandoned.

Adding to the danger, the Hesperian Armed Forces have operated intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) since at least 2011, beginning with the launch of the Jericho III (range 12,000 km) Yet even though Jesaias has the capability to launch a missile, it is unknown if the Hesperians have developed a warhead small enough to launch.

This morning, Baruch S. Jesaias gave a speech celebrating the unrest in eastern Sjealand, calling the violence “the beginning of the end for Frederick.” The terrorist leader who now runs the country called for faithful Sabeites all over Sjealand to take up arms against both the communists, the fascists, and the imperialists, and instructed them to form their own Sabeite state. He pledged the support of radical sleeper cells that he claimed were scattered throughout Sjealand, Roelandia, and Petrokovia.

Near the end, Jesaias announced that the Delian Union would hold war games in the northern Delian Sea, close to the territorial waters of Roelandia, sometime in the coming weeks. (Ukranas and Chernarus were also invited to participate.) It isn’t clear how Roelandia or the other nations in the Atlantic Union will react.

War Games off the Coast of Hesperia

The third, fourth and fifth fleets of the Exaequation Navy have been deployed for war games across the Atlantic and will mainly take place off the coast somewhere near Hesperia. Afterwards the three fleets will move to the coast of AU ally Roelandia for docking and further exercises for an undisclosed amount of time. While not confirmed by the government, this is seen as a not so subtle retaliation and a 'back off' signal from Exaeqautio at the DU's sudden bold behavior and toying with Roelandia.

Our Glorious Fourth Reich Attacks Ilmenia

In a daring move, the Fuhrer had invaded part of the inferior nation of Ilmenia! The nation's peninsular land shape within Fourth Reich Territory was taken off guard and was cleaved off by two groups of soldiers on both sides who flanked the enemy and then marched inward, burning everything they saw. In addition, another group has been sent to burn a path through Ilmenia. With a military as insignificant as Ilmenia's, it is expected that they will collapse within the coming weeks. The Fuhrer has offered a truce with theem in which they surrender the Fourth Reich gains Ilmenia's entire northern half.

In other news, the Turmish animals are now being rounded up and relocated to concentration camps. They have been mingling with the master race for too long and reports prove that they are responsible for the murders and rapists within the empire. For all of our safety they are being removed. Reports hold that these concentration camps contain gas chambers in which these Turmish swine will be taken care of appropriately.

A government spokesman confirmed that the Royal Ophiusite Armed Forces will be participating in the DU war games scheduled for next week, along with the Hesperians. In fact, the Ophiusan contingent will be led personally by crown prince Kyros of Ophis, son of King Linos. He further states that Greater Ophiusa would be cutting off all relations with the Roelandian government, and proposed that the DU should implement a blockade of the country.

In the meantime, Greater Ophiusa will be flying reconnaissance and other aircraft near Roelandian airspace, but affirms that they will not violate Roelandia's territorial integrity. This action is "necessary due to the expansionary ambitions of the Atlantic Union, as proven by the recent division of Guppychal."

After a bold move by the Fourth Reich in invading multiple nations in South Eghania, Petrokovia has condemned the Fourth Reich. The Premier has called for a meeting of all of the World Leaders to discuss how to retaliate, and has pledged to give assistance to Ilmenia in the form of humanitarian aid and military equipment.

As the Delians once more threaten the worlds peace the Imperial Rigsdag has decided with a 534-273 vote that the Imperial 6th fleet will depart Nuskhavn to for a trip to Roelandia where they now will be stationed to warn off yet another aggressive Delian threat. 3 battleships, 1 aircraft carrier, 10 frigates, a number of smaller ships and 2 submarines carrying nuclear weapons have been dispatched in the hopes of scaring off the Delian forces. The president of the Rigsdag, Johanne Duchess of Egeskov has reminded the Delian Leaders that this is not an attack on them, but an agreement between two sovereign nations about common defence and as such they should not begin their usual accusations. 3 fighter squadrons have also departed Asgård for Ici Roelandia with the intent of stationing there, should the Delian Union try anything. So far the operation has commenced without Delian intervention.

As news of Hesperian military presence in Rainatopia has reached the Rigsdag, both houses today voted in favour of constructing a border fence along the entire Rainatopia/Sjealand border so that Hesperian forces will not be able to enter Sjealandian forces unnoticed. The fence will consist of a 4 meter barbed wire fence in the front with a 3 meter barbed wire fence behind it with 2 meters between them. This space will be mined, and there will be regular guard towers along the border. Entrance to Rainatopia will be limited to checkpoints spread around the border. Construction will begin when the war in eastern Sjealand is over.

Roelandia fully mobilizes fleet following Ophiusan threats

The Roelandian Naval command has fully mobilized since the threats from Ophiusa were issued.
The border with Ophiusan territorial waters are being petrolled intensly by both patrol boats and seaborne aircraft.
Roelandian naval command is preparing for a possible DU blockade of Roelandian territorial waters, something that cause grave economic damage.
A spokesman said: Our fleet is preparing for a worst case scenario in which we will have to break a DU blockade of the country with any means necessary.

Chancellor Leonardo Caprice reacted on the strong language comming out of Ophiusa.
We are appaled by the rash decision of Ophiusa to cut all ties with us.
This obvious war rethoric on their part concerns us greatly. We hope that the Ophiusan government reconsiders it's position before this situation gets out of hand any further.

Army moves mobile ballistic missile launchers to coast

As a reaction to recent DU war games, Ophiusan war rethoric and proof that Hesperia has access to nuclear ballistic missiles, the army has moved several mobile ballistic missile launchers to the coast. They will switch positions constantly in order to avoid being detected by DU intelligence and Reconaissance. The rockets are of the SAMNIT nuclear ballistic missile type with a range of 15 000 km, meaning Escosir, Hesperia and Ophiusa could easily be reached by them.
In addition, several nuclear submarines, capable of firing nuclear ballistic missiles have also been put on alert.
Army spokesman stressed that these precautions are meant as a deterent against DU aggression and not a pretext for attack.

Hesperian Bases Established Abroad

Following days of negotiations, the defence ministry has confirmed that the Hesperian Federation will be building military bases within Rainatopia, a relatively isolationist nation in Euphestia. As per the terms of the arrangement, 21,500 Hesperian soldiers will be stationed in the country, along with the accompanying military equipment and heavy armour. The exact locations of the bases are undisclosed at this time, but are said to be located in southeast Rainatopia not far from the Roelandian border.

A deal has also been reached with the allied nation of Escosir, a member of the Delian Union, in which Hesperia has been granted permission to station up to 43,000 troops within the country in addition to 20 ICBM missiles. It is unclear whether these missiles are to be armed with nuclear warheads, but with an operational range of up to 12 thousand kilometers, many important sites in Roelandia, Sjealand, Belham, and Petrokovia will be in range of a possible Hesperian "first strike."

These are the most recent events in the tightening of Hesperia's grip over its sphere of influence in the Delian Sea, in addition to the recent recapture of Delos and more deployments into Syrania Ulterior, Syrania Proximior, and Trarecien.

Just a day after the successful detonation of a nuclear device, Baruch Jesaias, the Hesperian leader, announced that the Hesperian Federation would be embarking on a space programme, the first of its kind on the Delian Sea. It is reported that advisors from Ukranas have been brought in to supervise the programme and help get it started, but these reports remain unconfirmed.

Funding for the space programme has reportedly been embezzled from relief funds established in the midst of the Delian War, as well as from the royal family of Greater Ophiusa and Nubyrian business leaders. Due to the lack of suitable launch sites in Hesperia proper, many locations are being scouted for the construction of a space facility, many of which are in Syrania, Ophiusa, or even one of the islands of Vituly.

In a statement released earlier today, Baruch Jesaias condemned the recent and heinous actions of the so-called "Fourth Reich" in Eghania and called for an international coalition to depose its maniacal leader. He went as far as to offer military support should Inprobus choose to strike against the Reich, as recent reports indicate they will.

An invasion of Eghania would provide much-needed combat experience for the newly reformed Hesperian armed forces, which are still suffering from the disastrous war last year. Nevertheless, much of the Hesperian military has been restored and re-armed with advanced weaponry, although it isn't clear where this new equipment has come from.

The government of Belham has announced today that it would be stepping up its military presence in the west to patrol the Belham-Nubyrias border due to the rising tensions of the DU and AU. A few thousand soldiers have been called up to help patrol the border along with aircraft and other military equipment.

Along with the added presence of soldiers patrolling the western border, anti-ballistic missile systems have been set up along the western regions of Belham after Hesperia announced that it had moved at least 20 ICBM missiles on the island nation of Escosir, and that it had an operational range of 12 thousand kilometers, a distance that threatens Belish land.

Following our most recent election, the NUP has won by a landslide victory. The leader of the NUP, Kai Oppolzer, has changed several areas of national policy. Roelandia accepts mandates over former Guppychalian territory

Since the nation of Guppychal has fallen into dissarray, the AU has taken it upon itself to help certain coastal regions redevelop after the dissaster.
Roelandia has given their mandates limited autonemous powers which are expected to be extended in the future when law, order and economic stability has returned to the region.
For now a Roelandian appointed governor will act as minister-president for the respective mandates, assisted by a localy elected council.

Exaequatio Supports Ilmenia
With the war between the Fourth Reich and several other nations, Exaequatio condemned the Fourth Reich and its actions for the recent atrocities and instigating a massive war which will likely result in many fatalities. With the unexpected attack on Ilmenia, Exaequatio has pledged to accept any refugees or displaced persons from the war into their nation as well as provide Ilmenia with medical equipment, food, clothing and several other supplies to aid them in the war.

ANIMAL RIGHTS GROUP PACIFIED

An animal rights group recently attacked a Cycloration Systems laboratory, which was focusing on biological development for the betterment of our people. These violent savages stormed the building, setting free several animals and dangerous prisoners that were also being tested upon. ArcLicht soldiers speedily responded, surrounding the laboratory with the terrorists inside.

After a short period of negotiation, it became clear to our friends at ArcLicht that the terrorists couldn't be reasoned with. The building was stormed, and unfortunately none of the activists could be captured. No contractor was hurt in the assault, but seven Cycloration employees were tragically killed. Simply another sad story of people who couldn't conform and become good citizens of the four allies.

Sjealand issues guarantee of independence
Today in a public speech HIM Frederik VI and Johanne Von Risbæk the president of the Rigsdag publicly announced that they would issue a guarantee of independence to Belham following aggressive delian manouvers as per usual. With aggressive Imperialist nations like Chernarus at the Belhamian borders, it is only a question of time before the Chernarussians launch an invasion akin to what they did against ArmaSimplex. Short negotiations have taken place, and now Sjealand has pledged themselves to protect Belham against DU invasions. Furthermore a private foundation has been established by several wealthy Sjealandians to serve as a basis for Sjealandian-Belhamian cultural exchange and student exchange.

The foreign minister Ragnvald Bjarkesen also had this to add to the situation. ''Following long drawn out debates in the Rigsdag and the Foreign Ministry, we have decided that since Chernarus lacks any form of Government at the time it would be unwise to include them as a sovereign nation. We hereby withdraw our recognition of Chernarus from the 28th of February 01:00.'' HIM Frederik VI has signed the order and it is now in effect.

To mark this historic expedition of Malcolm Dimes, the Imperial bastard that founded the Nickel Empire, the Imperial Family has now begun their annual visit to the Nickel Empire. They will depart from Asgård tomorrow and sail the historic route of Malcolm Dimes and then land in what is now Port Nickel, to visit their relatives in the Nickel Empire and travel the coastal areas. This will be Prince Valdemars first visit to the Nickel Empire, where it is expected he will study when he turns 6.

Death Toll rises as tension rises!

The death toll in Guppychal has spiraled to 9000050000 Guppychalians. Leaving the current population at 50,000 people from the 1,000,000,000 it started with. The combination of anarchy, radiation and border troubles have been killing off people quickly.

Aljahim Stabilized! Lucas invited survivors to capital to rebuild!
In a bid of kindness the Lucas Matthews, now proclaimed leader of Guppychal and Aljahim has invited all remaining people to come to the capital to rebuild and reform. Clearly sick of the anarchy that has been befalling the nation for the past 2 weeks. Aljahim's population is speculated to be currently around 35,000 people. The rest of the country, however. Is still completely ruined.

The NeoGuppychalian's explorers have recently rediscovered Guppychal's nuclear arsenal. Left untouched and unused. The current stock is estimated to be around [REDACTED]. Also, the explorers managed to find that some landmarks were left relatively unscathed! With "The Hub" only missing around a quarter of its dome. The NeoGuppychalian Party is currently remodeling it into a headquaters of sorts.

Border Tension Rises as "Scramble for Guppychal" is over
After the brutal annihilation of Guppychal, Guppychal lost most of it's land, which has now been claimed by the victors of the Inter-Guppychalian war. With parts of Guppychal being claimed by 6 nations. Any remaining survivors were killed on the spot, bringing the survivor toll down from 100,000 to 75,000. Survivors in the mainland are not aware of what is going on in the outside. The nation is still in complete anarchy

Roelandia takes the security of his Mandates very seriously.
Therefore it has increased the size of it's garisson there.
Heavy armor and material have been moved from Roelandia proper to bases spread all over the mandates.
In addition, several Guppychalian natives have been conscripted into the local militia which will function as the local defence force under the jurisdiction of the local council headed by the Roelandian governor.

This morning, Hesperian artillery began firing shells from Syrania Ulterior into territory controlled by Sjealand in former Guppychal, targeting border outposts and sites where defensive fortifications were being built. The barrage continued for several hours late into the afternoon.

Following the artillery bombardment, Hesperian soldiers and a tank column reportedly crossed the border into Sjealandian West Guppychal, supposedly to "clean up" the survivors of the barrage. Several pictures have been circulated, yet these remained unconfirmed. According to eyewitnesses, the troops crossed back into Hesperian territory on Syrania after only a few hours.

The death toll from the skirmish has not been released.

This incidence coincided with a speech given by Baruch Jesaias, in which he demanded the "complete and immediate withdrawal of Sjealandian and Roelandian troops from former Guppychal."

Following the expulsion of Hesperian troops from Rainatopia, the defence ministry has called on Jesaias to launch an invasion of the country, in spite of warnings from Roelandia and Sjealand. A meeting will be held between Ziett III and Jesaias later this evening to discuss the proposed plan.

Chancellor Leonardo Caprice refuses to give in to Hesperian demands, condems Hesperian incursions into Sjealandian west Guppychal

Leonardo Caprice has spoken out against Hesperian actions on the Syrania/Sjealandian West Guppychal border.
The chancellor also made clear that Roelandia will, for the time being remain in West Guppychal as protectors of the West Guppychalian people.

In a response to Hesperia's aggressive actions, the recently created Roelandian West Guppychalian militia was moved into striking distance of the Trarecian border.
Newly arrived Roelandian heavy artillery systems have also been set up near the border.

After a deal with Cycloration Systems, the nation of Vernicht has been given mining rights to several areas in the former nation of Guppychal. Several mining installations have been set up, as well as a few biological laboratories. Contractors are being brought in to protect our interests in the region, and make sure that our mining installations cannot be assaulted.

The CEO of Cycloration Systems is very pleased with the allotted land provided by the Sjealandian Empire, and has made it clear that our friends at ArcLicht will not allow any invasion of the land without a fight from the PMCs.

Several more divisions of ArcLicht troops are being moved into Sjealandian Guppychal, to further protect our interests from rouge states who wish to disrupt the peace.

The President of Trarecien, operating under the direction of the Hesperian Federation, has ordered the Second Field Army to prepare for military operations along the border with Roelandia West Guppychal as tensions between Hesperia and the Atlantic Union rise. This total amounts to 90,000 troops that are being prepared for a general mobilization against the Roelandian colony should war break out.

Along with the Second Field Army, the President has also authorized the air force to fly surveillance directly over Roelandian-controlled territory, justifying his decision by saying that "Roelandia controls the territory in question on illegal pretexts, so any Roelandian claim on airspace in the area is pure gobblygook."

The Trarecien military is supported by up to 2,000 Lord's Army militants and roughly 300 Hesperian army personnel.

Frank Underwood, Patriot Party dominates elections


Frank Underwood, the newly elected President

Millions of people woke up today with a new leader running the country, along with a new majority party in the Congress. Frank Underwood, a national favorite, won the elections with 53.5% of the vote, beating famous Republican Bob Berch and Democrat Peter Russo. The Patriots, Underwood's party, finally got the majority in both Houses of the Congress after going 7 elections without a majority. An astonishing 81% of Belish citizens voted this election year, compared to 2014's 69%.

Underwood officially will take office tomorrow, along with Vice President Garrett Walker. Underwood has voiced his concerns with Hesperia and the DU, telling the press that he will follow former President Odin's (who won the 2014 elections) footsteps in cutting all ties with the country, as well as building a better wall along the Belish-Nubyrias border.

Travel ban, warnings issued on DU nations

The Belish government has officially issued a travel ban on the nation of Hesperia and Nubyrias due to the recent rising tensions between the DU and AU.
