He'd remained mostly quiet, not having made much conversation with the other delegates. Most of them seamed to be already interacting with others or did not appear to want to be bothered at the moment. He'd mostly just been admiring the landscape as they rushed by in the bullet train. He straightened his black fabric jacket and briskly made his way off the train. The crowd appeared to be very happy to see their leader and the foreign representatives who followed after her. He took in the station for a second with a breath and exhaled. To his immediate right was a man. He was from the Achaean Commonwealth if he remembered correctly. He put on a friendly smile and approached the delegate. "Is there a problem friend? You seem just the tiniest bit lost with your current situation. Come, let's not fall behind, other representatives are behind us."
Henri looked at Darus.
"Oh, Hello! No problem at all! What is your name? And From where do you hail?" Henri spoke with a mix of French and Greek accent. He looked flustered. Perhaps this man may explain what had happened? But he did not want to seem insane....

Greetings to Ostia from the Eridan Imperium. We received your transmission about the "Day of Eternal Glory" celebrations, and would like to attend.

The United Star Republic of Harndar, it is not so far from here, we own about 7 solar systems thus far. Good to see some friendlies around here as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're from the Harndar I'm thinking of, then your nation may have a old friend in common. Was Harndar in any contact with the United Tributional Territories?

Alvall loved the size of the station. The closest in size the Empire had were the Hub stations, however this was a full 10 km larger than any of them. However besides the added expanse this was very familiar. The Alistairs were the only family besides the Pendragons themselves, that privately owned a Hub. Alvall had spent a lot of time in nearly every hub of the empire.

"Harndar? Harndar..."
Rowan spun to the bridge crew. "See if there's any mention of Harndar in our logs!"
"There's no explicit mention in our logs, but the UTT mentioned them in our contact a decade ago." An technician replied.
"That explains it." Rowan turned back to the communicator.Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you're from the Harndar I'm thinking of, then your nation may have a old friend in common. Was Harndar in any contact with the United Tributional Territories?
Yes, we've been allies for while until we lost communications and started to focus more in our internal problems. Have you heard from them recently or was this from a long time ago?

Darus kept up his smile, "Darus Exellia, representative for the Exellian Federation. Don't mind the name, I know it sounds pompous to have a nation named after you." he joked. "So you're from the Achaean Commonwealth yes? I do not mean to offend, but how do you sustain your population? From what I have heard and understand, your means of agriculture are less than...ideal." questioned Darus. His accent was more of a mix between Australian, British, and South African. Leaning more towards the Australian. They walked with the rest of the delegates and met the one and only lord Joseph himself. "Seams like a pleasant man, let's board the trucks shall we?"

Chancellor Wieck was very pleased that Alliance Prime Minster and the other law-breakers stopped smoking on the train. It seemed ridiculous to him why they would think they could smoke on a Maglev Train in Ostia. This isn't some industrial world, He thought, it's the capital of the Protectorate.. As he stood there and listened to conversations, he was very quiet until that large spider thing changed forms and looked like him. His eyes widen and he looked at his impostor from bottom to top. "You better change back, before someone else sees two Chancellors in the same car," He angrily threatened. Just than the train entered another tunnel, which caused the Chancellor to look more frenzied. "Change back now! We're almost at the station!"
Lenina chuckled at Gawain's remark. "Well, I am glad that you like the design of the city. I'll make sure that the local Ministry of Infrastructure knows this." Just then the train entered another tunnel and the Empress could have sworn to hear Chancellor Wieck screaming at someone. "We have arrived at our destination." Just then the train came back into the light.
Ostia System - Ostia - Nue Berlin - Protectorate Station
As the train slowed and entered Protectorate Station, there was numerous white flowers falling down from the ceiling. Outside there were two lines of Royal Guardsmen blocking the large crowd who were cheering once the train had arrived. A numerous journalists could be seen as well, their cameras beginning to focus on the train itself rather than the journalist.
Protectorate Station was one of the main Maglev Stations in Ostia and as such, is an important transportation hub for the planet. The station had numerous white marble pillars which lined the sides of the station. On each of these pillars was a banner of the Ostian Protectorate. When the train slowed to a halt and the doors opened, the Royal Guard moved forward, expanding their containment area. In the first few years of the celebrations, the Royal Guard had trouble keeping bystanders at bay and not charging forward to meet the diplomats. However after a decade, they were well-versed in crowd control. Empress Marx was one of the first to exit the train which energized the crowd even more. She smiled and waved to them.

...I'M DEAD!?...What a relief...

Does ten years ago count as recent? As for how we got in contact with them, it's a long story. Basically, they intercepted a transmission meant for us, from one of our operatives.

I'd say ten years is about as old as it gets. The UTT never told us about other allies, other than The Ostians, although I recommend we don't speak about them. Anyway, should we leave or do you want to speak face to face?

In front of them was a large black shuttle with the red insignia of the Covenant printed on both sides of the shuttle. The shuttle's main door was open, and it was ready for boarding.

This would be a learning experience for him, Darus was the youngest and favorite son of Exellia (Politically anyhow), and this was his first political event outside of the Federation.Sorry, I was looking at your Tufter app, woops!
