Welcome to the GBUSE Programme!
This is designated for countries who have relations set up with the GBU and want to partake in further exchange between our countries.
The Agreement
The Empire of the Greater Bohemian Union and the signatory nation agree to the following apart of the GBUSEP:
- 1. Students enrolled in a accredited four year college or university in the signatory nation and the GBU have the ability to transfer between national colleges/universities and have all credit and status recognized.
- 2. The "Undergraduate Study Abroad Scholarship" is created for undergraduate students who have a 3.0+ GPA to apply towards to allow 100 Bohemian Students and 100 Signatory Nation Citizens to study abroad for a semester of participating universities.
- 3. The Application in #2 will be forworded to a committee created by the education ministers in the respected states to choose who is most academically and culturally involved to partake in.
- 4. Both signatories agree not to impose tuition or cover the tuition of the student for the semester under the scholarship in #2. Each student gets a stipend of $9,000 for living and housing expenses giving a max budget for $90,000 for each nation to pay for the visiting students.
- 5. The "High School Summer Aboard Scholarship" is also created, which 250 students from each respected signatories, chosen by the same method outlined in #3, will spend two weeks of the summer in the capital of the respected signatories and explore while taking language courses in the respected signatories to garner a basic understanding and feel for the respected culture. The program will be monitored and runned by the Ministry of Education in each of the respected signatories.
- 6. Field-trips as High School Students or College Students from each of the respected signatories is now encouraged, and the ministries of education from the signatories may do whatever means to support and increase student participation in both countries.
