Logan Cavanaugh and Julianna Létourneau (Juliet Cavanaugh)

Logan was trying to scratch his head at the certain individuals that were trying to snark at the Marine teacher at the front of the class, which were the German and his beau, the confusing Dracone siblings, the Joseph guy, the Head of Security that the pair just bumped into earlier, the creepy Italian moron, the Japanese model, and some of the other students. He wasn't used to the whole drill instructor routine, and the table layout either. Logan just kept quiet, trying not to face the whole drill instructor hair-blowing treatment and not deserve the ire of the other students.

Julie, on the other hand, had no idea Mr. Bridges was a marine in the USMC, and instead took out her La Sainte Bible, put it on her desk, flipped it open to the prayers section and started reciting the Lord's Prayer, the Prayer of Strength and Peace and the Prayer for a Big Heart out loud in Canadian French. This would earn a shouting for sure, and when Logan saw this, he mentally facepalmed and tried to do a poker face while shifting in his seat uncomfortably. He hoped he could watched the twelfth season of Degrassi once he gets out of class.

Dirk Bridges

Dirk looked up with a smirk on his face after Cassandra sent on her rant. "I'm not treating this like a warzone. If it was a good portion of y'all would be already dead. While you may not care about what happened and what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan others do care, both over there and over here. I can almost guarantee you know somebody outside of this school that's a veteran that has faught in both of those hell holes. What I am doing here is going to teach y'all history and to teach y'all how to respect other people. If you have a problem with my teaching style you can take it up with Mr. Burke. Now you can be quiet or you can come up here and show me how I am suppose to handle the situation, Ma'am." Dirk replied calmly but was starting to get mad due to the disrespect coming from the Twins and Cassandra, yet he managed to keep this hidden.

He then heard someone almost shouting in Canadian French. He turned his head and saw Logan and Juliet Cavanaugh, with Juliet Cavanaugh reading from a book very loudly. He then stood up and walked over. "Ma'am I do need you to out the book away to be quiet, class is about to start." He said in a Calm but loudish voice.

'Milky'

Miyuki maintained her gaze for a while before answering. "No matter, it happens... I guess. Yes, 'Milky' would do. As for how I got it? I had three classmates with the same first name, two clubmates with the same last name... I decided to be different, and it's a name easily pronounced. 'Miruki' in Japan, 'Milky' here. Also... since you are a gentleman so far..."

Miyuki reached for the sleeve of the hand closer to Joseph, slowly giving it three small folds, revealing about 4 inches of her wrist and forearm, as if revealing her flesh was a sacred ritual. It was a move which she was taught to use in a skincare commercial, and before she knew it, she has subconsciously used it on Joseph. No matter, it delivered the same message over. From Joseph's position, he could see the fair skin and smooth complexion, which he should have noticed on her face too. Hardly any blemish, but maintained more by diet, sleep and exercise, than any excessive skincare products or chemicals.

"It's paler than most skins in Japan, it's natural shade. Not a trick of the light, and not through creams or anything."

Folding her uniform back, Miyuki gave Joseph a small smile, breaking her stoic look for once. "Guess you know now."

"Umm..." Geramond was trying to understand what everyone was saying.

"馬鹿!" She said as she was frustrated and then covered her mouth with her hands in embarrassment

Julie was about halfway through the Prayer of Strength and Peace when Mr. Bridges turned on them for reading her bible out loud after shutting down a girl who apparently didn't care for the military, saying something along the lines of the class is starting soon. Logan immediately mentally cringed and tried to keep his poker face while worrying for her since Mr. Bridges had no idea that Julie could not speak English, but could translate written English. Logan braced for the inevitable shouting match, since he knew Julie was very defensive of her religion of Roman Catholicism.

Julie immediately looked up at Mr. Bridges, horrified that her prayers were interrupted, but immediately standing up and giving him a lecture on respecting people's religion, with determination in her words. "Excusez-moi, monsieur, je lis mes prières ce matin, la religion est très importante pour moi, et presque tout le monde au Québec, donc si vous dérange pas interférer dans la religion de quelqu'un, ce serait bien." Julie said, with her religious side coming out, and not understanding the class part. "Dans le cas contraire, alors vous devez apprendre à respecter notre temps, de lieu et de notre façon de vivre, sinon vous finirez comme les gens d'Ottawa. S'il vous plaît comprendre cela, sinon le Québec est interdit aux gens de ne pas nous comprendre." Logan visibly cringed at this point and looked down at the floor.

Joseph Bridges
Joseph gave a small smile back. "My grandmother and my brother both showed me how to be respectful. I don't know anybody from Japan or another far east Country other then you to have a idea on how dark or light your skin color is suppose to be. Where I grew up in Dallas there weren't any people from a Far East country, even though Dallas has one of the highest populations in the US of people from the Far East. I picked up the name Steel from working on a ranch and it got carried over into football and school, and now my old teammates call me that because of a steel rod in my left leg, which is suppose to be coming out soon. My last coach said I was built like i was made out of steel. I never took a injury in football till last year, and I had been playing since I was about 8 or 9. Oh you are very beautiful by the way." Joseph replied as he kept a small smile on his face and ran a hand through his short hair.

The Knight Siblings.
Allison shhok her head at the class, smiled, and said. "It's almost like back at Fountain Fort Carson big brother." Joseph nodded and went back to what he was doing. Allison then saw Geramond and whipped out her phone, typed hey, and sent it to Geranond

Cassandra Goldberg
"Oh, that's pleasant" Cassandra said sarcastically when he said that if he was treating it like a warzone, most of them would already be dead. That sounded like a lovely threat to say to your students. "I don't care about it being mentioned every time you open your mouth" She replied, not recalling having said she didn't care, more telling him it wasn't Iraq and Afghanistan and wanting him to shut up about his soldier past in class. Of course, this was her demands...And she did in fact not really care. "So what?" She said in reply to him saying that she probably knew somebody who had fought in those hellholes, not really caring if she did or not, though she was pretty sure that she didn't. "How to respect people? I don't remember that being a part of history class" She said sarcastically, clearly not giving a shit to be one of those students to respect other people, but she didn't outright say what came across her mind. She ended up pretty much just huffing and crossing her arms more, glaring at Dirk, this class becoming increasingly stupid to her, but she said nothing more...for now.

And then she was pretty sure that she heard a stupid ranting in...some language. She also didn't give a shit enough about languages to know how to distinguish them, so she had no real clue what the girl was ranting in, but it seemed like she was ranting at least. She could at least respect that...Especially since it was at this teacher.

Logan Cavanaugh and Julianna Létourneau (Juliet Cavanaugh)

Logan looked up when Mr. Bridges addressed him, and stood up too to try to calm down Juliet.

"Logan, her step-brother." Logan responded to the name part. "Sir, she can't speak English and will only speaks French, she was raised in Quebec her whole life, I think she is saying about respecting her religion, and prayer is important to her." He said, obviously flustered having to explain she can't speak English, and visibly cringing and sweating at the same time. "She was born and raised a Roman Catholic and she comes from Montreal, so she gets defensive, sir. I'll try to calm her down."

Logan turned to Julie, who was visibly fuming at the teacher. "Juliet, pouvez-vous s'il vous plaît calmer?" (1) Logan said. "Il a manqué de respect ma religion, mon frère! Comment puis-je répondre à cela? Il est comme les gens de l'Ontario, qui ne nous comprennent parce que nous venons de la France, pas l'Angleterre!" (2) Julie angrily said, still fuming but calmer. "Ceci est un professeur dont nous parlons. Cela ne veut pas le Québec, cela est du Colorado aux États-Unis, ainsi que diriez-vous calmer avant de faire quelque chose de stupide que vous regretterez en classe." (3) Logan said in a firm tone.

After two seconds of silence, an answer of "Oui, frère." (4) came out of Julie. She sat down and put her bible away, and sat there, visibly angry. Logan scratched his head, and said "I think I should apologise for her behaviour. She has language problems, and our family is intending to see a language specialist and psychologist while we complete her education. Sorry about that, sir." Logan then sat down at the table next to Julie, flustered and mentally whacking himself in the head for revealing her secret on the first day. "Oh, we are having problems, big time......" he thought.

Translation
(1)Juliet, can you please calm down?
(2)He disrespected my religion, brother! How can I respond to that? He is just like the people in Ontario, who will not understand us because we come from France, not England!
(3)This is a teacher we are talking about. This is not Quebec, this is Colorado in the United States, so how about you calm down before you do something stupid that you will regret in class.
(4)Yes, brother.

Dirk Bridges

He nodded, shook his head, and listened to the conversation. After the conversation was over he shook his head again. "Tell her she can finish her prayers, just to do so in a quiet and respectful manner, I am a Christian myself, and I understand matters when it comes to prayer, but I can't have her shouting out prayers, because some of the students will find it disrespectful and think that some ones relegion is being forced on to them. I will respect religious practices where I can but it most not interfere with others in the class. I understand language barriers as well, I worked with them before, so I'll do the best I can to be slow so you can translate for her. I will also not tell anybody of her problems, but I do appreciate you telling for a teacher needs to know of issues lije this." Dirk said as he turned back around and walked back to his desk and said to Cassandra. "I have never mentioned my past every time I have opened my mouth. I have only mentioned Iraq and Afghanistan. I have not talked about myself at all. Respect has a lot of what to do in History. Look at the US Civil War, both of the World Wars, Vietnam, Korea, and the War on Terror. Respect is all throughout history. We learn history to try to keep from repeating the past. That is one of the things that is wrong with my generation and y'alls generation. It's that we are not very respectful at times. I do appreciate you being honest with me though and not beating around the bush" Dirk said rather calmly and with some Force behind his voice to let her know the discussion was done.

'Milky'

Miyuki listened intently, giving Joseph her full attention as he spoke. Well, she wasn't expecting him to know much, thus his response was typical, and adequate. He continued into a description of his own nickname, which even though Miyuki did not ask, was interesting to know. She was more of a soccer girl, having played that and basketball in Japan, but knowing that American football was somewhat revered, nodded her head to signal that she was taking in his words rather than having them pass by her head.

"I see. That is interesting to know." The shouting match between a student or two, and the teacher begun, and a small frown appeared by the corner of Miyuki's mouth. However, she did catch Joseph's compliment, which was what she'd heard from countless boys trying to hit on her since middle school.

"Thank you. I appreciate it." Miyuki said with an even voice, but giving Joseph a smile. "I don't think it would be appropriate to continue our conversation, class is starting. Perhaps after, Joseph 'Steel', Bridges."

"No thanks, we're comfortable right here," Sylar said, grinning and lounging back in his chair, arms casually behind his head, legs stretched out in front of him.
Skylar gave Cassandra a wink and a grin, even though while she was pretty serious, the twins were more playful and and teasing. They still seemed to approve of her blunt, rebellious attitude, and even though they were.... polite...enough to to just outright say it, they agreed with most of what she was saying, though, again, they saw it in a more playful manner than Cassandra. As the teacher continued to act all uptight and talk about Iraq and Afghanistan, which they saw as having practically no importance to this class at all, they glanced at each other giving a mischievous grin that would make most any authority figure nervous, before watching Dirk intently, almost in a 'target aquired' kind of way.

"I don't really like either to be honest" Karlee said, shrugging her shoulders. She didn't like caffeine, and neither of those had much of a taste that she liked. She listened to what he said, but she seemed to go into math mode in her head, trying to think of what proper angles you needed to get so you could get something in at that particular angle. Her mind was pretty good for math, so she wondered if she actually knew how to throw things properly, if she'd do well with that sort of thing. "Nice. I know angles well. Too bad I don't know how to throw well" She chuckled lightly.

Karlee wasn't sure what Peter had said at first, but let it pass and just listened to what he said next. For some reason she felt a little special that she was his only friend so far. That didn't mean she wished for him to be friendless. No, not at all. She'd like him to have many friends if he wanted. But it felt nice being his first friend here, so she smiled when he said that. She smiled at what he said about her knowing who had caught his eye. "Well, good luck in that regard either way" She said, smiling again. "I'd hate to be in your situation. I'm not good with that kind of stuff, you know? Relationships and stuff...You can see that I can be fairly social when I get talking, but...I'm a social wreck around people I have an interest in...No matte the gender" She said, hinting at her sexuality without even thinking about it, because to her, it really didn't matter. She felt no reason to hide it. It was who she was, so why did it matter? So she didn't really worry about it at all. Or remotely think about it when she mentioned it. "Oh, that sucks" She said when he said that him and his roommate weren't talking. It didn't sound too bad, but that wasn't really a great way to start.

Instead of talking more about the mathematical sides of basketball - more accurately, the mathematical side of throwing a cup into a bin without looking - or ask more about her supposed lack of throwing ability, for the sole reason that there was nothing more to add, he decided to get to her reactions to his answers. "Thanks," he said, smiling a little bit. "Although I won't be too broken up if she was into someone else because, again, that's life." He dropped his smile. "Or something. Besides, I didn't get my first girlfriend - who was also my first friend that wasn't family - until I was about 15." He thought he should mention that, just in case it made her feel any better about her being a wreck to potential love interests, even though in Peter's case it was more him prefering to be alone rather than any social anxiety. Since he didn't have anything else to say after that, he just kept quiet for the rest of the journey to the classroom.

Eventually, they managed to get there before lessons start. He opened the door and the first thing he saw was Miyuki and Joseph sitting together, hitting it off. Rather than dwelling on it and potentially making things worse for not only himself but everyone around him, he shrugged it off and paid no attention to it. Besides, he could try to talk to her later on in the day, if he gets the chance. He then turned to Karlee and said "So I'll talk to you after class, then." and then walked to an empty seat next to someone. He paid no attention to the massive argument between Cassandra and Dirk, for the sole reason that he wasn't in the mood to chip in and, even if it did, not that many people would understand him.

Seth Verlaine

Since Seth's gaze never left April for a moment, he saw the surprised reaction from her and stops eating a moment, indeed worried.. But then her smile followed, and he giggles softly in a childish sort of way. He felt a little embarrassed, knowing what he probably looked like right now, but he couldn't resist giving a compliment. Right after that though, he returns to his meal, quite aware of the time and what it would soon lead to. His bread was all but finished, after he'd been dipping it in the soup and taking bits of it as if in a hurry.. And the mushroom soup was almost finished. The coffee on the other hand, seemed untouched. Seth had forgotten, and so upon noticing he went on with drinking it up.

He watches April with his eyes as she takes upon a thoughtful look for a few moments. It seems that he himself is in deep thought, but actually isn't. Seth continues to observe, hoping that what he was doing was making a good impact. Fortunately, the smile remained. Seth nodded lightly to himself. When April actually started off with her food, he smiled. That was definitely a good thing. As he sets his cup down, the smile is more obvious, but then Seth quickly grabs a paper towel he'd taken and dabs at his mouth with it, suddenly in a slightly flustered state. He puts the towel away and then goes back to observing April, and finds that her head is cocked slightly as she now looks at him. In return, he ever so slightly turns his head and squints, confused as to what that look might mean.

Then she spoke her thoughts regarding him. Seth grins and chuckles. "Why, thank you. You seem like a nice girl, too." Seth's grin turns into a smile. He wants to continue, but he notices that several students are streaming out of the cafeteria. Looking at his own timepiece, he realizes that the day's first class is due to start. "Uhm.." he rubs his palms together, "Class is starting very soon. We might need to go soon.. But you need to eat, so don't worry, I'll wait for you." Seth smiles.

Sasha Brierley

Sasha placed her tray aside and left the cafeteria a little bit before everyone else. She wanted to be early for her first class, no, not to look like a pet or anything, but just so she could get a moment just to look around. She moves over to her locker and grabs the necessary materials before proceeding to the class. She gets there with a few kids in, along with the teacher. She greets him/her before choosing a seat and taking a deep breath. She's a little nervous, considering there's a new lesson and whatnot, she'd have to memorize and review and everything. It already seemed daunting, but she was usually fine in class, so she really didn't know why she was worrying.. Maybe it was because of Eli, but she had already been assured he was going to be fine. He himself said he was going to be okay in his new school..

"It's fine, Sasha.. Just f*ckin' push through it. Class is just another bully you have to beat up and get over with." she leans on her elbow, just waiting until the class starts. Sasha is already a little bored, but looks ready enough..

April Chetwynd
April smiled back at him at his thank you, but only replied to the second bit, and it seemed like she was slightly flustered again for a moment, but it faded quickly. Either way, she gave a cute little shy smile in response to his comment. "Thank you" She said, her thank you sounding very genuine, because it was nice to hear for her. Because of her mind, she needed to be told these things a lot just to keep from being too negative. And unless it was her parents, nobody really did, so it was nice to hear. She looked up from her food when he started to speak, then looked surprised when it was apparent that class was starting. Where had time gone? And how had she managed to zone the whole thing out?

"Oh, uhm...Okay, I'll eat a little faster" April said, chowing down on her food a little quicker now, since it was apparent that they would probably be late if she took too long, and she didn't want to make them late. She ate a fair amount, at a reasonable rate, but faster than she had been at first. She seemed to hit a point where she was either full, or decided she just didn't want to eat anymore, and pushed her mostly eaten but not quite done food off to the side, zoned out for a moment, then looked to Seth.

"Okay, let's go" April said to him, letting him get up first before she followed suit.

Cassandra Goldberg
Cassandra ignored the part about religion, because it wasn't really related to her and she didn't feel the need to start shit on every topic at the moment. But when she was spoken to on the other hand...

At first, Cassandra bit back her words, just letting him speak, looking uncaring the whole time he spoke, but then key words were said. She practically zoned out the part about respect being a huge part to do with history, especially since she'd probably rant about that if given the chance as well, especially related to certain wars. But the key word that made her not able to hold herself back was the, in her mind, bullshit stance of learning history to try to keep from repeating the past.

"Bullshit" Cassandra immediately said. "People always use that fucking argument, yet we never fucking change anything. Idiots still repeat history on a regular basis. Looks like they learned jack shit from learning history to prevent repeating the past" She said, though while clearly being her honest self, this seemed to be more her actually just debating the merits of it. She acted like someone that didn't really give a shit about anything, and in a lot of cases, she didn't, but she was very opinionated and did care about a lot of things as well. In a sense. Of course, she didn't really care that the discussion was supposed to be done, and replied to the next part, anyway. "That's also bullshit from what I've seen. The generation that always asks for fucking respect is one of the most disrespectful generations there is. The baby boomer generation or whatever the fuck they call it. Respect is earned, not given because you think you deserve it, like so many people in the older generation seem to think. That just comes off as very arrogant to me. So I think that tends to be a load of crap as well" She said, again more debating the merits of what Dirk said than actually just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Karlee Carlin
"Life sucks sometimes, eh?" Karlee said with a bit amusement, trying to keep it light hearted even when talking about things not always going how you wanted them to. "Oh, hmm...Well, I prefer to focus on my school anyway. Maybe I can focus more on a relationship side of things once I'm in college...Or something. Doesn't really matter to me" She shrugged her shoulders lightly. She did seem interested in a relationship, just didn't go out of her way to care to find one.

Karlee didn't catch on to the fact that the girl that Peter was interested in was apparently talking to another girl, because she was sidetracked with the classroom itself, and trying to figure out where it was that she wanted to sit. He heard Peter say that he'd talk to her later, and she nodded and smiled. "Okay, see you later" She said, then wandered off to some random table herself, sitting by whoever it was that she ended up sitting by (If anyone at all)

Victoria Strummer
Victoria seemed to like how he didn't really care if she was boring or not, and she also chuckled lightly in amusement when he said that he was exciting enough for the two of them, but didn't actually reply to that part. "My life just has had barely anything happen in it in forever, so it feels really boring, and I feel like I'm pretty boring on top of that. I came here for a reason. I needed a change of scenery from my every day life, and something new for my last year of high school. Maybe I will become less boring" She shrugged, though she seemed to be slightly amused as well. "Yeah" She said, a bit distant as she was scanning the classroom for two empty seats at a desk.

"Looks like that desk is empty" Victoria said, gesturing to the desk with two empty seats for the both of them to be able to sit with each other.

Eric Stevens
In response to Victoria saying maybe she'll become less boring. "I'll try my best to make your life as exciting as you want it to be."

Eric said this after she wanted a change of scenery. "Yeah I can respect that. I've lived in the same mid sized city all my life. 164,000 people seems like a lot but when you go to school everyday you see the same people pretty much everyday. I love home but there's not much that's different than other cities. That's why I'm here." He fallowed her to the desk and pulled out her chair for her then sat down himself. He took notice of the girl arguing with the teacher because it had grown quite loud and you couldn't help but overhear. "Seems like this will be a fun class." He said motioning toward Cassandra.

Glad of the favourable response, Oskar took the seat he had been offered.

"Nice to meet you Slater...I'm Oskar. Oskar Weichselbraun", Oskar responded, introducing himself to the other boy. "Are you new here? Or have you always been here?", he inquired, even though in the back of his mind he was aware he should probably be making his way to class.

"Nice to meet you, too," Slater said, grinning widely. "I just arrived her a little while ago. Donno how long. I kind of lost track of time. But yeah, this is my first year here," He said, before glancing at his watch and realizing that it was apparently time for class. "Oh. I really did loose track of time. We should probably get going to class," He said, getting up.

Oskar Weichselbraun

"Yeah, do you know the way? I spent most of yesterday checking this place out, so I think I know how to get there", Oskar replied to Slater's previous comment about going to class. He took up his bag and slung it over his shoulder and began to walk in the direction of the classroom, but slowed down to wait for Slater to catch up.
"I'm new here too, I moved here with my family just before the summer started from New York, but I come from Austria....hence the name!", he explained.

Dirk Bridges

Dirk smiled and shook his head. "That is very true on both accounts. We have learned from history but we have not learned enough. Look at Korea, Vietnam, and the Iraq Wars. All these wars had major political restrictions on them, But because we had to befriend the locals. Also it's the Baby Boomer Generation your thinking of. They are can be disrespectful as can Gen X, as well as Gen Y, and The Turn of the Century Generation. There are some in all of these generations That have earned that respect like military veterans, police officers, fire fighters, and others that put their lives on the line to protect and to serve. We may not act like it at times like I did with you earlier. Now let me ask you this if not our elders, then who are we suppose to respect? Also I am and will be strict in class and when I coach and why I teach history because I do not want any of all in this room to end up like I did and have to fight a pointless war like we did in Iraq. Y'all are the future of this The USA and the World, it is up to y'all to look at history and to keep us from repeating those mistakes, It is my hope to help y'all along this journey to change the world for the better. If you can not respect that, then try to respect that I have seen and done things overseas so you did not have to see them here. If you can't respect that, then find something to respect, weather it's what I teach you, or what a protestor is protesting about. So Ma'am, would you be surprised that I respected you for being blunt with me and telling the truth, be cause I do in fact respect that. I hope you will respect and listen to me, and now this discussion is now over." Dirk said with a smile on his face. "Now that is time to almost get started so I am going to go ahead and introduce myself. I am United States Marine Corp Reserves Sargent Dirk D. Bridges originally, and I am up for the Medal of Honor for just doing my job on my last deployment, and I am form Dallas, TX. Now I want y'all to introduce yourself to the class and to tell us one interesting about yourself and where you are form. Oh and if there are any students that are deaf and or mute please come to the fort center desk. If there is a translator for them, then you can pull up a seat and set beside them." He said as he leaned against his desk as he grabbed the class roster and looked at it. "Now who goes first? Well how about my little brother Joseph?"

Joseph Bridges

H
Joseph was watching the arguement and shook his head. He then got a surprised look on his face when Dirk said he respected the girl that was arguing with him. He then looked surprised again as Dirk volunteered him to go first. He pushed the chair back from the desk and stood using the desk to help him stand. "Hey guys, I'm Joseph E. Bridges, I do go by the nicknames of Steel and Jeb. I'm from Dallas, TX as well. 1 intresting thing about me is that I broke the High school record for rushing yards in a season in the State of Texas my freshman year, and I plan on returning to football and doing the same here for our football team as soon as my injury is healed." Joseph said rather calmly and the sat back down.

The Knight Siblings
Joseph and Allison Knight sat and watched as both Dirk and His brother had introduce themselves. Allison then stood up. "Hey everyone, My name is Allison D. Knight. I'm from Jonesboro, AR, and Colorado Springs, CO. 1 intresting thing about me is that I am a lung cancer survivor." She said excitedly.

Joseph shook his head and smiled. He stood up as Allison room her seat again. "Hey, I'm Joseph A. Knight. I am from the same places Allison is from. 1 intresting thing about me is that I drive a Nissian GTR R34." He said and then retook his seat.

"I have no clue, but this place isn't big so I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to find it," Slater said, following after Oskar toward the class, and kind of spacing out as he walked, but was clearly focused enough not to walk in to things. "That's cool. I've lived here in Colorado all my life. I hope to travel the world some day."

(Dracones)
The Twins glanced at each other, giving crooked grins at how Cassandra seemed to have distracted Dirk to the point that he no longer cared that they didn't leave and come back like they were told to.
After the other students, the Dracones stood up one at a time.

"Hello. My name is Drake, sometimes called 'The crazy one'. I was born in Seattle, Washington, now live in Aspen, Colorado. Interesting fact about me, I come from a family of 12 kids, myself included, and I like to ride," Drake said, giving a shrug before sitting down.

Savannah stood up next,"Hi hi. My name is Savannah, also known as 'The Techy One'. I was born in Seattle, as well, and live an Aspen, too. Interesting fact about me...I have photographic memory, and also come from a household of 14, that's including the parents as well as all of the kids," She said, before sitting down.

Knox slowly stood up next, giving a faint frown, before smiling and speaking up, though it wasn't the loudest speaking up. "Hi. My name is Knox, sometimes called 'The Quiet One'. Born in Seattle, live in Aspen. I write my own music, and come from the same big family as the others." He sat back down, before glancing around the class.

Brooke stood up next, though more hesitantly. She spoke softly, and quietly." Hello... My name is Brooke. My siblings often call me 'The Bookish One'. I like to read, if you couldn't guess, and I love quizzes. Also, from the same weirdo family as the others," She said teasingly, sitting down.

And then it was the twin's turn. They both stood up at the same time, and both spoke at the same time, talking over each other.
"Sylar. 'The other Mischievous one.' Seattle, Aspen, big family, like pranks," Skylar said.
"Skylar. 'The Mischievous One.' Seattle, Aspen, weirdo family, dislike bossy people," Sylar said, before they both sat down.

When he got to his seat, he took off his bags and put them down on the floor, keeping them to his side. He then pulled his chair out and sat down on it. He opened up his rucksack and took out a pen and a pencil, guessing that he would probably need them. That and he didn't know if he'll be getting books or paper for this lesson. And, as he was a few rows behind her, he briefly looked at Miyuki (or, rather, the back of her head) and gave a half-smile, since he didn't know whether or not he would have a chance with her. After about two and a half seconds - not because he was paying attention to the time but rather because he felt that, if he stared any longer, it'd probably creep her out - he went back to looking at the front of the room.

At first, he was going to chip into the massive argument between Dirk and Cassandra, mostly because he actually wanted the lesson to start so he can get it over and done with (and a little bit was because it was something his new friend Karlee was looking forward to). However, by the time he had thought of something to say, the arguing was apparently over. So, instead, he decided to just save what he was going to say for when it flares up again. He leaned forward, putting his elbow on the table and buried his head into his hand as he heard people introducing themselves. He didn't really pay any attention to it and he was dreading his turn, whenever it was, since the only person he really knew was Karlee; although he had a short but pleasant conversation with Dirk the day before, he didn't really count it as "knowing". He didn't really know everyone else and, apart from a select few, didn't really care that much about knowing them at the moment, since a) he doesn't see himself talking to them outside of lessons and b) even if he did, he could do it later.

Oskar Weichselbraun

"That's one of my dreams too! I really love to travel. My family drove from New York to Aspen when we first moved. Which was cool and even though it took so long, I got to see some states I'd never been near before", Oskar told Slater.
Not long after having said that, it seemed as if they had arrived at their destination.

"If I remember right I think this is the class we need to be at", the Austrian said, hoping his assumption was correct. He slowly but confidently opened and held the door open for Slater to notice most students had already arrived and the teacher appeared busy talking to someone. Not wishing to interrupt, he turned around and mouthed the words "do you know if we have assigned seats?", to the Slater.
