Well Hawaii has always interested me because we literally know nothing of what happened there during the Great War, and how they fared afterwords.

I guess that this has already been discussed here, but with the news that Obsidian expressing public interest on making a new Fallout, where would you like another to be set?

I would love for one to be set somewhere like The Midwest (maybe Chicago, the Twin Cities), The Rust Belt (mainly Detroit. I think that would be pretty cool. Maybe have a few factions based around Pre-War auto companies?), maybe the Deep South (New Orleans, Atlanta, Alabama), or even more interesting The Pacific Northwest. Maybe have one in a foreign country, give us a picture of the outside world.

I would like to see parts of Mexico since the U.S was directly involved in oppressing them for resource hoarding.

I'd say the NYMA, encompassing most of downstate New York and the northeastern quarter of New Jersey.
There's just so much there, and it's such a huge city that even considering it was bombed to shit in the war there's so many different ways to portray it.

It's not the plot of avatar it's the story of colonisation which was a big part of North and south Americas history.

Now that I have been able to commit to a steady schedule of writing chapters for my thesis, I've decided to focus on beating Fallout 4, so I can rest in the the "Finished" category of my Steam library and never speak of it again.

I'm probably going to put it down for a year or so until the really awesome mods start coming out and I can make it fun again. The whole 'spend a perk on a utility skill instead of something cool' is really friggin' annoying to the point where I just give myself all the crafting / hacking / lockpicking perks with the console because I'm tired of having to waste perk points on the same perks every playthrough just to be able to craft things.

I think if it were labelled as a spin-off people wouldn't mind it as much. I think there's a lot of potential for Fallout side-games / spin-offs.

But it likely won't happen because the devs would need to write up so much new lore and design so many uniquely "japanese" meshes and whatnot.

why would a game whose primary setting is 1950s america's idealistic visions of the future bet set anywhere other than the future of america
