If you wanted to build an aircaft to the "fly high and fast" sort of design, just how ridiculously high and fast would it have to fly to avoid current anti-air missiles?

My nations airforce uses the old f-104 starfighter as its primary aircraft when fighting against the South Atlantropa Me-262 but we feel that we must upgrade since the SAAF is looking into more western jet fighters. since we tried to get the F-35 but were snubbed we moved toward the European and Asian fighters.

I like it. I suggest extending the front end of the plane out a little more. The intake should move with the front end too. For a stealthy version, you don't want the fan blades to be exposed to radar, so a longer duct with bends added in will help reduce the RCS significantly.

This is the duct of the F-22 Raptor, note how it bends significantly so radar cannot hit the fan blades and bounce back like a madman.

Does having a mixed transport regiment for my airfare make more sense than my not-Aeroflot idea from a while back? The regiment would have An-12s, An-26s, Mi-6s, and Mi-17s. Does it make sense to group transport aviation like this, or do the conflicting uses of helicopters and fixed wing make it silly?

We still don't want to rule china out completely in the future but for right now we have chosen three finalist for our new fighter its between the JAS-39, Eurofighter Typhoon, or the Dassault Rafale we are sort of favoring the JAS-39 or the Rafale but would love feedback on these three choices

Alos, how does this sound for a training scheme for my pilots:

There will be a national flight school, funded by the Ministry of Education, which will be an air force squadron of Yak-19 and Mi-8s. This will provided my nations pilots basic training. Air Force Cadets will then transfer to my combat squadrons to receive further training on combat capable training variants of my main combat aircraft (Mig-23 and Su-22) or stock transports (An-12,-26, Mi-6, and Mi-17).

on an international scale we would be considered third world or even second world since we prefer to buy "hand me down military equipment" but we figure to procure latest generation fighters for future uses. we only fight South Atlantropa and rarely do we go beyond to fight.

Wouldn't the MiG-35 be a better replacement since it has all what you want?

We could use another fighter since the AF-01 will be basically a fighter, bomber, ground attack, anti-ship we could shift the fighter role to another craft to take strain off of the AF-01. So that's what we figured right after the purchase of the Mig-29's and the rest of the government agreed and we went ahead and purchased 20 Mig-35's which will be named the AF-02

This is a North Atlantropa AF-02 which is the NAAF designation given to the Mig-35 it will take over the role of fighter from the AF-01 to ease the strain on its pilots and ground crew
