This is true, does anyone mind if I come up with a basic set of items all operators will need? This is going to be protective equipment mostly.

I'd be more afraid of CBRN. That covers four things. Four. And they're all deadly. Do you guys want suits?
Biohazard suits?.... Wouldn't we be able to find some in the facility if we needed them?
And I have gas masks issued to the four going, although most things from CBRN aren't going to actively try to kill you, right?..... Or am I hugely mistaken?

Fair enough. But do you want to take the chance? Better to have them and not need them than need them and oh shit, the rack is empty!
*shrug* I'm not sure what would be locked up in the biological sector. Nuclear should be safe if it's shielded. Chemical is fine if it doesn't leak. Radiological is the same. But biological? I mean. Sure, that's most likely diseases. But zombies are classed in that, and who knows what kind of biological experimental horrors there are in there as well...
But I guess a CBRN suit wouldn't help with those...

Yeah, that way we may have less guns, but we have less people to worry about waiting for in the need to run if shit hits the fan, and it eliminates the need to backtrack to visit different wings.

If I'm correct, you're sending one, Avalon is sending one, AA is sending three, Cerr is sending three, and lastly I'm going to be sending four. And if you don't want to be paired up with Av's operative, you're mostly likely going to have to pair up with one of Cerr or AA's.
Although, the way the TFA team is split up will be decided for everyone, but I'm not oppose to this idea. If we manage to it with six pairs, we can hypothetically finish this faster.

Problem is we may well encounter a threat that two guys cannot take down. I say three teams of four

Cause it is possible that threat runs as fast as us and knows the area better than us therefore making fighting the best option

Why does that make it easier to fight than run from?
Because once you start running it will be on your ass like stink on shit. At least when it is coming after you you can lure it back into an area where a fire team of four can easily take it down. Need I remind you the goal is to accomplish the mission without losing guys?

So your answer was "You have to fight it, not run. But you have to run to fight it."

Running implies attempting to escape it, my idea is to take it down, if needed retreat back and get good sight on it, but the overall idea is neutralization of the threat.

"We're not running away, we're tactically retreating."
"Shut the fuck up, Lewis! We're running away!"

Nonononono. See, here's how this goes. We encounter this giant B.O.W. like thing like a licker or some shit and your guy sights in and tries to kill it. Upon emptying his magazine and realizing that this shit ain't going to work, he looks back to my girl and is about to make a suggestion when he realizes that she isn't there anymore because he couldn't hear her telling him to get the fuck out over his rifle.

BOW? I have heard of BUMF (Big Ugly Mother Fucker) but never BOW.
Also, no clue what a licker is either.
*shrug* then leave him, my guys are more durable than you think. I dont doubt there is some mean shit down there, but the objective's given and it will be accomplished. Only way to break a DEMON is to kill him, and DEMONs die pretty hard.
