Jawzarr punched Mason in the gut, more than hard enough to knock the wind out of him and draw out more blood, "Phobia has no power, now get me in, or I will kill you." He steps back, then slashes at Mason, the tip of his blade leaving a thin, long slice across his chest, instantly cauterized by the fire, but leaving third degree burns around it as well.

"Ah! Uncle Raphy took your heart!?" Shi exclaims, putting her head on Otohime's chest, searching for a beat.

And then suddenly, she's yanked off of Otohime's chest gently. "Grrr!" Raphael says, swinging Shi about. "Yes! I stole her heart! It's mine now! And she can never get it back! Grrrr!" He swings Shi across his shoulders, her laughing playfully, and him smiling happily at Otohime.

Otohime starts when Raphael comes in, then laughs, standing up and kissing him, "You're the best Raphy. And Shi's a very sweet young girl." I kind of wanna keep her...

Raphael kisses her back, and Shi squirms in his grasp. Raphael stops holding her and sets her down. "Sorry Shi. Didn't mean to do that."

"It's alright, Uncle Raphy!" she says, hugging his leg and then running out of the room. "So...." Raphael says. "Wanna go eat dinner?"

He licked his lips again, summoning sunfire in his other hand, and pressed it against Mason's face, beginning to burn the flesh away.

"If you kill me, Violet will never forgive you." he said while struggling to breathe. "Violet is my aunt. Now put me down."

"...That is good..." he sighed. However, as he spoke, he saw Patriah walking past, looking for something. "Patriah?...Do you need something?" he asked.

"Ummm...looking for the Shrine. Kids wouldn't tell me where it is...They just kinda ran-off without me...hm..."

"Do you perhaps want help?" he asked.

"Don't worry about it. I'll figure it out," he answered, with a distracted grin. He then continued walking, searching for a building that looked like a temple.

I've got to find the temple.

I've got to find this priest.

You can't teach six-year-olds Magic!

I didn't even know I was a Mage until I was eight! This is ridiculous.

If he's not careful, one of these kids could possibly get killed...and I swore to myself I'd never let another little kid die because of something I could have done...

SO WHERE THE HECK IS HE?!

Eventually, he came upon a building that looked like a temple. Rushing up to it, he looked up at the tall building. It was mostly made of gold, with the sloping roofs that were traditional of Far Eastern architecture, and it was surrounded by a sort of otherworldly calm, as though the place was meant to be separated from the rest of the world, though still in it. Various monks were walking around, performing their daily duties.

"Alright...I'm in the right place...now where's the head-monk around here?" he muttered, putting his hands on his hips and examining his surroundings for the character in question.

Actually, it's a rather small building, built of wood and kept in amazing condition. It seems rather abandoned actually, with no one walking about and the only source of life a small glow from the open door, presumably from a fire.

"Hm. I imagined it to be different...well, alright, then, let's see if he's inside..." he muttered. He then walked up the steps and peeked inside. Seeing not very much was inside, he started to go inside, when he saw the shoes right outside the door. "Guess I better take these off," he muttered. He took his shoes off, putting them by the door, and he walked inside, ducking his head as he walked through the low doorway. Searching around, he called to the darkness, "Hello?"

From behind the shrine in the center of the room, an incredibly old man comes out, looking at Patriah. "Yes?" he asks in a weak, gravely voice.

She loved them both so much that it hurt to even think about the fact that she would lose one of them. But...that was what was about to happen, and somewhere, she knew it was coming.

He leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. Tears lined his eyes and began to flow down his cheeks. His hand reached forward and grabbed the chain around her wrist. The chain began to crack and crumble as he crushed it. He hoped the kiss would distract her from what he was doing, but it most likely wouldn't.

Nyx was a bit surprised by the kiss, but it didn't take her but a moment longer to realize the meaning behind it. She could feel his hand on the chain, and how it began to disintegrate and crumble. No. Not like this. She pulled away from the kiss, yanking her wrist away from his grasp. The chain was mangled and brittle, but it was still there. He was still there. "Don't do that...don't ever do that again..." She said, the tears running down her face once more. She held the chain tightly to her chest, using her other hand to protect it from his touch. She didn't want to lose him to something as horrible as death. She wanted to know that she could still be there for him, whatever that might mean. Death was a barrier she would never be able to cross, after all.

He was a terror to behold, barely recognizable, insects crawling over his body, much of his skin sliced to ribbons as more cuts opened up on their own, his eyes silver, and his hands burning with sunfire.

And he feels an incredible cold. So cold.

Cold.

Cold.

Cold.

Everything cold.

Time slows exponentially, incredibly slow. Like walking in molasses if molasses was covered in something even slower than itself. And all around, little ants, humans, moved around him, blindingly fast.

And then the pain starts. Bullets upon bullets puncture Jawz's scales, freezing him more on the inside. Incredibly sharp swords slice through his skin, burning everything they touch to cinders. The scales part like butter to the arrows, which spread over Jawzarr like a blanket of pain.

And then everything speeds up again.

A single man stands in front of the beast, as it lays crippled. "My name is Ajay. The king and leader of this village. You made a mistake."

And a terrifying, horrifying sword appears and lands in Jawz's eye, making it's way toward his brain.

I don't wanna get in an argument with a nice old man...

Outside, the sounds of gunfire, arrow fire, and slashing go on.

I may be wounded, but I will end you!" he shouted with a growl. "You have pushed me too far!"

He hissed, smirking, and charged, swinging his flame-covered blade at the Nephal and unleashing a wave of fire from the other, blood burning off the hand. He was incoherent, unable to understand speech, all he wanted to do was kill, destroy, and devour.

He easily dodged the blow and seemed to appear behind him. He forced his blade into his spine before dragging it upwards. "Look at youself. All you want to do is kill. You only want to harm others, even the ones you love. This is the exact same thing you did to Violet. This is why her father took her from you. Because you can't be trusted. You're unstable. Stop this, and she may come back to you."

OOC: Changed my mind cuz an idea

Jawzzar falls, a pool of dragonic blood spreading from him until he heals.
His eyes snap open as he tears into the flesh of the man he just killed.
Three words come out of his mouth. "Sun...and...moon." He growls, blasting the surrounding area with fire; snarling. "Where are the sun and moon?" He drives an allow back into Mason, knocking out more than a few teeth, and slaps Ajay aside with the force of a train.

She is barely breathing. Slowly, blood began to seep through her hoodie over her abdomen. His attempts to heal her failed. She is directly linked to Mason. A fatal wound like that will form on her body.

Mason growled and several wounds on his blade started to glow. An orange light moved across Mason's body, healing him. This effect would carry over to Inari. A different rune lets off an eerie crimson color. "Final warning Jawzarr."

Ajay flies away, his bones breaking, screaming.

"Ajay!" comes a scream.

"PAPA!" comes a higher pitched scream.

Shi runs out from her mother's grasp, toward Ajay in his broken form. He coughs up blood, looking at his daughter. "NO! Go back! Be safe!"

Shi looks confused, looking between Ajay and Sri, trying to decide.

Right in front of Jawz.
