Just to clarify, North-Eastern Hispania means around Barcelona, right?

North Eastern Hispania would be somewhere around the border of Hispania and Gallia. So Barcelona is one choice, though a city closer by and still popular would be great.

Barcelona has the advantage of being well developed, having a port and being world famous. A internal-human conflict could arise with the Catalans.
We could also take Zaragossa in Aragon, but that would be a little bit too far away from the border for my personal liking.
Pamplona would be interesting as it is an old fortress and close to the front.
And then there are the Basques and their beautiful country...

I guess, at the end of the day, it's your call.
I would prefer either Barca or Pamplona, since both would give the ground witches an avenue to participate in the general mayhem as well, those to being close to the front.

Austria, I don't know if the thought even passed your mind, but Kaigun Taii is equal to an OF-2. Unless ut means something else?...

Yes. I know. The proper form of address was Rank-dono (aka what she means "by rank"), in Satoko's case if you don't wanna go with Taii-dono it's Ohime-sama.

1. Hanifah's not Fusojin.
2. She still referred her as Kaigun Taii.

The logic here is a foreign unit trying to refer to her officer by what she knows. Taking into equation the fact she's a Nusantaran (Indonesian) witch under a Dutch military, she would only know that one would refer to their superior officer by official rank-name. Or just official rank.

So no, a decent officer would not call another nation's witches or militart units peasents for saying a rank slightly wrongly when compared to their own nation. If it were a fellow Fusojin witch, you have every right to say so. But wheb you're dealing with international relations, even your thoughts should wander towards the fact that different militaries have slightly different ways to address superiors or subordinates.

Well, to be fair, it is a pair of Fuso princesses making that judgement. 'Decent officer' probably doesn't enter into it as much as their both being somewhat self-centered and inflexible in demanding the 'proper respect' be shown.

Coming from a background of pampered arrogance and limited interaction with foreigners, Satoko is probably being relatively diplomatic (in her own mind, of course) by simply thinking Hanifah's a bit slow. The alternative reaction, after all, is Aiko's 'I'll murder you for thine transgressions against properly respectful speech ye barbarous foreigner! Taste my steel!'

The proper way of address in the British and US military owards your superior officer is "Sir" alternatively "Ma'am", noncommissioned officers exclusively by rank. Endearing things like Gunny at the Gunnery Sergeant in question's consent and pleasure. Bundeswehr it's "Herr/Frau Titel." Never by forename in any official circumstance, not that I have seen.
By the way the correct form of address in the Royal Netherlands Navy is Mijnheer/Mevrouw for Luitenant ter zee der 2e klasse, the Kaigun Taii equivalent.

This is however asinine by now because it's basically canon. Satoko's gonna ignore this time around but do remember next time.
