Biography:
Born into a family with a lot of ties to different clans from Konoha, Yushao was considered to be one of a kind. His prowess in ninjutsu & genjutsu allowed him to excel at the Academy & later during his missions. He was surprisingly fond of katanas, which is very odd for a shinobi. He was quite aware of the politics in the world, keeping himself informed as he continues to observe the state of the world, while doing his missions at the same time. He's very fond of things that are black & white. It's expressed in his clothing. He was in awe of the 7th Hokage's actions & ideas while he was still in the Academy. Striving hard to be able to guard the legacy of the heroes of the 4th Ninja War, he continuously work hard to keep the peace that's getting fragile each passing day.
Motivations: To protect those who are dear to him, and to guard the peace that's fleeting.
Strengths:

• Kenjutsu. Surprisingly, he's very good at swordsmanship, although not to the level of a samurai.
• High power & stamina. His main attributes are Strength & Vitality.
• High reserves of chakra. His chakra is a lot, thanks to his efforts.
• Proficient in using Genjutsu. He's quite good at doing it, to the point that people would try to keep him from doing it.
• Wind Release. His first affinity that was discovered when he was training while still being a Genin.
• Loyal towards friends. He's very protective of them also.

Weaknesses:

• High level of seriousness. He just can't take people who are always fooling around.
• Cold appearance. Although he's friendly, his face that looks too serious tends to scare people away or make people think he's a cold person.
• Woman. He could lose focus because of a woman. Not that he's a pervert or something, it's just distracting his mind.
• Friends. He could get depressed if anything happens to them.
• Lazy. Though he's lazy, he still do his job. Don't expect him to follow you without a good reason, though.

Personality: Cold and stand-offish, Akira is not one to approach with petty problems or concerns that don't directly affect himself or his sister, Akiko. He wasn't always this way, but being on the run for so long will make one suspicious and mistrusting of damn near anyone that approaches. From attempted assassinations to persuasion attempts, Akira is weary of outsiders and any sort of 'official' types. Beyond this distant front is a kind and caring man, a loyal friend and ally to have at your side, regardless of the circumstances.
Biography:

The eldest son of Karo Kaminari - Himself undisputed leader of the Clan - Akira was raised with great expectations in mind. Not only did he meet them, Akira seemed to surpass them as his training grew more rigorous and detestable, the talents of Akira becoming a well-discussed matter within the Clan. Hailed as a second coming of the legendary founder of the Kaminari Clan, his gifts with Lightning Release were explored to their fullest at an early age, leading him to unlock his clan's kekkei genkai, Electromagnetic Style, in his preteens.

He advanced rapidly from Genin to Chunin, and then from Chunin to Jōnin, by the time he was sixteen, mostly at the insistence of his clan. He then began to utilize his impressive jutsus and reinforce the powerful name of the Kaminari Clan, but his attention was being drawn inward, power struggles were developing as more and more eyes turned to the Kaminari due to Akira's reputation, and a change of leadership was desired, and soon. Akira, on the other hand, was more concerned with the treatment of his little sister, Akiko, and how she was being used as a pawn to get what the Kaminari wanted out of himself. Akira had been personally training Akiko in his spare time, guiding her to become a powerful hunter-nin despite not knowing a thing about her affinities, and this only made her an even greater target for hostile clan members.

Things reached a boiling point on a cold winters' night, Akira had just reached control of his Denjigan and could see the electromagnetic pulses present in the human nervous system, and his first sight was an attacker entering Akiko's room as she slept. He rushed to intercept the assassin, silently pressing his ninjato through the assassin's chest from the back. The soft thud of the man's body awoke Akiko, whose wide eyes readied a scream - one that alerted others to come rushing to the scene. Akira removed the man's cloth mask in a swift motion, revealing that the attacker was his and Akiko's uncle.

Shocked, Akira felt the situation sink in as others rushed into the room and saw the scene - A nephew killing his own uncle. Akira desperately defended himself against accusations, explaining his side as best he could, but he quickly realized that he was speaking to political allies of his uncle, and they were ready to ruin Akira's reputation. The scene was just short of coming to blows as Karo stepped in, demanding an explanation as to why his brother lay dead in his daughter's room. Akira explained that he saw him attempting to enter Akiko's room in the dead of the night, and that his supporters had come to pin the blame on himself. Karo weighed the excuse heavily, but could not look past someone killing his brother, even if that someone was his own son.

Karo gracefully put Akira under arrest, stating that until everyone could think straight, Akira would have to be locked up until an accurate series of events could be determined. Shocked and betrayed by his own father not believing him, Akira quietly went, hoping that his dead uncles' supporters would launch some coup d'état during the night. Akira seemed to have lucked out, as they did exactly that, and woke up the Thunder Dragon with a group of six men, all armed and dressed to the teeth with weapons and power. Akira instantly knew that their purpose was execution, and spared no time in killing those six and escaping his makeshift prison. A greater commotion in the courtyard caught his attention, and Akira ran out to find six additional men struggling against Akiko.

Before he could step in, Akira saw his sister vanish into thin air. Confused, he then watched as the six men who attempted to bring her down simply fell apart, hundreds of slashes completely slicing them apart like cattle, Akiko re-appearing some ways away with the eyes of a demon in her sockets, and the blood of her own clan splattered on her clothes and face. She turned that gaze to Akira, but he put his hands up in defense, Akiko slowly calming down, and dropping to her knees. Akira rushed to her aid then, holding her tight, and asking where the rest of the Kaminari's were.

In between her sobs, Akiko responded that they were all that was left, now, since the usurpers killed the others before targeting them two, and that their father simply abandoned them. Enraged, Akira looked upon the blood-stained snow and cursed his clan, picking Akiko up, and walking away from the massacre, knowing that just by surviving, he will be painted as the killer of his clan, the most horrific act a shinobi could do. That was three years ago, and Akira has been on the run ever since, working with raiders, rogues, Lost, and Reborn alike for what little he and Akiko can earn. Ultimately, he and Akiko settled with the Reborn, becoming one of their most fearsome cells and effective operatives simply by necessity - they have nowhere else to go.

Motivations:

• Finding their father, Karo, and confronting him on abandoning both Akira and Akiko
• Serving the Reborn with distinction, and leaving the past behind if possible.
• Continuing his mastery over Lightning Release and Electromagnetic Style, fighting strong opponents in order to improve, as well.

Strengths:

• Lightning Release: One of the greatest born in recent memory and hailed the "once-in-a-generation" user of the release, Akira knows an encyclopedia's worth of knowledge on Lightning-based techniques, their uses, and how to preform them accurately. Most of this stems from his Electromagnetic Style, but it still requires a tremendous amount of knowledge and chakra to correctly utilize.
• Taijutsu/Nintaijutsu: Akira's style of fighting is very up close and personal, where he can produce incredible amounts of power with his Lightning Release and Electromagnetic Style, making taijutsu his greatest skill especially when combined with his Lightning ninjutsu - even learning the Art of Lightning and using it to further develop personal jutsus such as Lightning Dragon Style and Narukami.
• Kenjutsu: An avid swordsman, Akira is known to utilize ninjato to great and devastating effect. Though he is technically gifted, his art mostly revolves around using the sword to extend Akira's reach rather than to master the sword, going so far as to combine his Lightning affinity with his swordsmanship with Lightning Sword Flash. It can be said that his abilities with kenjutsu are only an extension of his taijutsu.
• Intellect: Cunning and rather blunt, Akira is a skilled tactician and strategist on the battlefield, and a well-read and rehearsed ninja when outside of it despite his younger age. He was viewed as a prodigy growing up, and that still rings true to this day with his mastery over Raiton while being in his early twenties. He maintains his book smarts by studying just as much as he trains, much of his reading list being related to ninjutsu and developing tactics.

Weaknesses:

• Natural insulators will reduce the effectiveness of Akira's Lightning Release techniques.
• Non-metallic objects will not be affected by Akira's magnetism, though, he can still manipulate his own magnetic field.
• He has no defenses to genjutsu, so that's a blaring weakness. Powerful enough genjutsu can even overpower his Denjigan.
• Lack of Diversity: Simply put, Akira maintains high-end usage of Raiton and Electromagnetic Style and is dedicated to those fields, he simply cannot use other nature releases effectively or at all. He is specialized for one style and attempts to overcome this weakness by forming jutsu that can overcome Raiton's weakness against Wind Release, mainly by increasing the vibration frequency of his attacks.
• Many of his higher-end jutsu's consume incredible amounts of chakra, making their appearance rare and deadly if used, a prime example being one of his ultimate techniques, Electromagnetic Style: Railgun Accelerator.

Kekkei Genkai:

• Electromagnetic Style - A branch of Lightning Release (Raiton) that specializes in affecting the electromagnetic spectrum to mimic the abilities of Magnet Release and drastically increase the effects of various Raiton jutsu by affecting electromagnetic fields, Electromagnetic Style is endemic to the Kaminari Clan of Kumogakure. While the ability is not universal among it's clan, many of it's finest warriors wielded the techniques brought by the Style, and earned the Kaminari a fearsome reputation on battlefields. Akira is in possession of a rarity among the Style, and that rare element is an dojutsu.
  • Denjigan - Electromagnetic Eyes: An ability derived from the Electromagnetic Style kekkei genaki, this technique allows the user to alter the visible light spectrum and see objects in infrared or ultraviolet. It's greatest application is the thermal vision granted by infrared, allowing for impressive sight even during nighttime. That is the base ability, though, and refining this visionary aid can allow the user to mimic the Byakugan, and see the electromagnetic impulses (which roughly - but not exactly) correspond to the chakra pathways of a human being, allowing the Denjigan to act as impressive, yet rare sensory aid.
