Do you think Clinton is ready to embrace nuclear power, if she assumes office?

To power her secret underground lair, maybe.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

Nuclear power? Is that based on my OOC pros and cons list? I don't see a candidate who's fully ready to embrace and talk about nuclear power.

It's based on her earlier policy stance on nuclear power, which I've perceived to be more negative than Obama's and that of some GOP candidates. I hope she changes her mind.

Which is a real shame. It's objectively the best and "greenest" source, until fusion/solar/wind/fuel cells become more widespread and efficient. I still shudder when I see Greenpeace activists in the streets because of what they've done to that industry.
Economic Center-Left, Social Libertarian. Basically an ebul establishment neoliberal.
The political compass is no longer objective, so I've removed it from my sig. TG me for my specific positions.

And thanks for Greenpeace nuclear power might not be considered in the Paris Climate Conference... which is of universal importance.

Can I just say I don't want Clinton elected for the simple reason that I don't want to listen to America's "more progressive than thou" back patting for years?

Ugh. I honestly have nothing but contempt for the organization. They've given environmentalism a bad name.

Not really. Organizations like Greenpeace do plenty of good work while hacks like the politicians at the conference just twiddle their thumbs. If more people were like them the world would be a better place.

Ironically the environmental movement caused much of the current problems. In the 1950s and 1960s we were on track to replacing coal with nuclear and hydro. The environmentalists saved coal by grinding nuclear and hydro to a halt.

They've also derailed necessary energy sources like nuclear and hydro and damaged a native site in Peru.

I'd rather have Burnie Sanders than either. Plus movies like Team America have kind of taken the piss out of the "America is the greatest" mindset.

Fuck hydro.
Seriously. Fuck it. Worthless source of energy. Yes, the opposition to nuclear energy isn't great, but even that isn't without problems, and I question why they draw our ire instead of those who are actively contributing to fossil fuel production and distribution.

Pretty sure I won't have to listen to Americans going on about ending racism or sexism because they elected Sanders.

Mega hydro is often questionable. Bigger is not always better. But as problematic is that is, do you realize how much more land would have to be destroyed to build enough wind and solar to make tha much electricity.

This is due to human error, if you were to follow the protocols to the 't' it would be one of the safest forms of energy.

Also as a side note I never really knew the process of nuclear power until relatively recently and it blew my mind to learn that it's just a big steam engine.
