The jewel of the continent, as it is called, as well as being the only city of its size, Livehold is the heart of nearly all activity throughout the land, whether it is trade, political intrigue, guilds, or more. The city itself is a titan separated into a few distinct areas or "sectors", and the whole city itself is held together by a stone wall that has stood since the city's founding. The various sectors of the city are distinct all their own - and sometimes not in a good way.
The Gold Sector-
The area of Livehold dedicated to its bustling commerce, it is held in the very center of the city, with nearly all of the stone brick roads in the city leading to it in someway. Traders of all types and origins come from across the continent to peddle their wares, forming a never ending bazaar in the heart of the Gold Sector that persists day and night. Odds are, if it exists, you can find it here, whether it is TMs or rare berries, it is here. However, recent cracking-down has led to the banning of more....illegal items. Throughout the Gold Sector there are various hotels of pleasant standards to accommodate travelers and traders, as well as restaurants for them. The Exploration Guild headquarters are also situated on the central square near the bazaar.
The Red Sector-
While the Gold Sector may be the heart of the city in its formal manner....but many, many Pokemon come to Livehold for the Red Sector. The center for all things cultural and...morally dubious, this sector has nearly unlimited ways to entertain oneself. Numerous theatrical performances occur throughout the Red Sector, from dramas to comedies and beyond, as well as more "entertainment forms" of this type, but most come here for the more illicit things. Brothels, casinos, various small-scale fighting rings, as well as drug-dens are everywhere in the Red Sector, and are more widespread the deeper in you go. The Livehold Council tends to ignore the existence of these things, as they technically are not illegal - however, they have one law in particular that is relevant to this: no slavery. A rule against slavery is about the only real ban Livehold has on any of their more illicit activities. One of the most frequented places in the Red Sector is Sanctum 18, a bustling "nightclub" of sorts. However, it is mostly known for being the biggest and most popular fighting ring around - all the best fighters gather here for tourneys or simple battles to test their might, and, in respect to its namesake, all eighteen types of Pokemon are welcome. In addition, the Livehold guards tend to favor this sector for....obvious reasons
The Blue Sector -
Situated in the northern regions of the city, the Blue Sector is home to the various nobility of Livehold, as well as the various guilds aside from the Exploration Guild itself, which is in the Gold Sector. Various visiting dignitaries (albeit rare) tend to make their homes here while in Livehold, as well as noble families having more regal and decorated manors than the common houses often found in the Gold and Red Sectors. Various regal gardens and statues often dot the clean streets of this sector, patrolled day and night by the Livehold Guard. Various museum and more upstanding theatres also form notable landmarks in this area.
The Grey Sector-
Able to be seen as the slums of the city, the Grey Sector contains a plethora of rather shoddy housing, often built on top of each other in a way to cram more space with the influx of more Pokemon coming into the city. Large buildings, often made of wood and occasionally loose stone tower over the dirt streets, lit by lamplights and candlelight through the various misshapen windows. Numerous taverns and hostels dot this region, serving those without enough Poké to afford the other sectors, even the Red Sector. This quarter is not guarded as much as the others in all truth, as much as the Livehold Council tries to deny it and prove that it is.
The White Sector-
The northernmost and highest-elevated sector in the city, the White Sector contains only the Radiant Plaza and the Radiant Palace, the home of the Duchess of Livehold, of whom is currently Duchess Gardia. The Radiant Plaza is able to be seen as the real "pride" of Livehold; it contains beautiful gardens and flowing aqueducts drawn from the mountains surrounding the city (aside from the front) which flow down to the rest of the city. The most notable part of the Plaza is the large, clear water lake in the heart of it, known as Serenity Lake, which sits in front of the Palace gates. The Radiant Palace itself, made of regal white stone, stands the highest peak in Livehold, visible in nearly every part of the city. Inside the beautiful palace is the Duchess's throne room as well as the homes of the Duchess herself, her advisors and councils, and any of the Duchess's immediate family, if existent.
That's the synopsis of Livehold itself, more will be detailed later in regards to historical events and possible outer areas.

The Underhold -
The underground warrens of the city, made of an expansive cavern underneath the city itself and the city's sewers. A place of residence for those too poor to live even in the Grey Sector, the Underhold is littered with shoddy shacks and criminal activity. Dirt and squalor prosper down here, and due to recent prejudice, many Ghost type and some Dark type make their homes down here due to being unable to find a home elsewhere in the city. Various Poison types can also be found down here, and even some bug types, by choice, enjoying the desolate and squalor-filled sewers as a home akin to their own traits. Rumors circulate of a Guild of Thieves who live down here in a massive array of catwalks and elaborate housing created in the large cavern the Underhold partly occupies, along with other gangs, but this has been unable to be confirmed.

Now that I think about it, why aren't Poison types grouped in with the prejudice?

I agree on the fairies but some of them are so goddamn cute.
That's no excuse for nerfing the dragon type. Especially right when Charizard finally got the typing.
