I wouldn't really call that joke a critique more like a gag.

No more than Charlie Hebdo cartoons are gags. Gags people can die over. Because there is always this one group of fundies (fun dies) that get upset.

The hidden meaning behind the joke is of course the absurdity of having a religious preschool. Like what the fuck do they teach 4 year olds there anyway? What do 4 year olds get about highly sectarian religions like Islam and Christianity whose institutions create hatred and violence? Jesus coloring books? It's propaganda at best.

Telling young children they should force polythemists to pay a faith tax under threat of death (Quran 9:5) doesn't seem like a good idea to me personally, but it's Sweden's decision; I don't see anything wrong with this specifically, and if everyone in the town is fine with it, then it's not my concern.

Wait do you mean polytheists?

I can't seem to find a definition for the bolded.

Typo of Polytheists.

I'm not but they also shouldn't be a public school either. Besides, with the burning of nine refugee centers in Sweden, I doubt this school will survive the school year.

So like it, no. Accept it, yes.

What?

I dont like religion at all. I dont like this religious school. But I have no right to not allow this school, so I accept it

I don't like faith-based education in general, but if Christians can do it, why not Muslims?

Because there is enough religious schools as it is (and they are all bad, so don't start calling bias) and that we don't need more, and especially not from such a young age?
The People's Republic of Kaitjan is a nation most glorious: a totalitarian communist dictatorship set against a backdrop of vast jungles, great rivers and a horribly tropical climate. Kaitjan is renowned for its all-encompassing militarism, rampant xenophobia, isolationist tendencies and a great love for tigers and tiger motifs.

So no, this isn't a big deal. If you're going to make a fuss about one Abrahamic religion but not another in a modern secular democracy like Sweden, your biases are showing.

Almost all schools in Ireland, something like over 90%, are owned by the Catholic Church. These are public schools which are allowed to operate with a Catholic ethos and to give preference to Catholic applicants if they have more applicants than places.

But one Muslim pre-school in Sweden, holy fucking shit guys.

I would much rather one Muslim, one Christian and one Jewish school than 3 Christian ones

Well, that's too bad.
Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search for our better selves?
In Egypt's sandy silence, all alone,
Stands a gigantic Leg, which far off throws
The only shadow that the Desert knows:—
"I am great OZYMANDIAS," saith the stone,
"The King of Kings; this mighty City shows
"The wonders of my hand." The City's gone,
Nought but the Leg remaining to disclose
The site of this forgotten Babylon.

We wonder, and some Hunter may express
Wonder like ours, when thro' the wilderness
Where London stood, holding the Wolf in chace,
He meets some fragment huge, and stops to guess
What powerful but unrecorded race
Once dwelt in that annihilated place.

TLT's remarks? Well, seeing as he was satirizing the fact that you can't draw Mohammed, yes, I'd say so.
