Alexzonya wrote:Full Nation Name: The Galactic Republic of Alexzonya (GRA)
Bio: The Galactic Republic of Alexzonya is a Republic consisting of four inhabited and a larger number of fallow habitable star systems situated in a previously unstable sector of the galaxy. The chief executive and head of state is the President (currently Harriot Mason), while the Senate is the GRA's unicameral legislature. Significant independent authority is delegated to the Alexzonyian Economic Advisory (AEA) and the military (both the Marines and the Starfleet). The Starfleet, in particular, is currently in a period of significant expansion in order to fulfill their increasing duties as the GRA's influence has expanded. The GRA projects stability within its own inhabited borders and claimed territorial bounds, which have been expanding into the power vacuum around them in recent years. Securing stable trade routes has been a priority for recent GRA administrations, as have operations to "show the flag" abroad. This is a major departure from previous policies, and GRA Patrol Frigates on exploration missions have been appearing with greater frequency outside the GRA's home sector in the last two years. This is likely the type of ship that would stumble across the GS Galley.
Do you want to help the GS Galley? As a general rule, Starfleet carries out humanitarian and search/rescue missions much more often than combat operations, and as part of their exploration missions frequently respond to distress signals and investigate subspace anomalies

AI: "Future Tech RP has been detected."

Me: "Is there more info?"

AI: "Yes. It is about a spaceship from the nation of Gillopha that becomes lost in space."

Me: "A lost spaceship...? AI, set course for this nebula's application zone."

AI: "Warping to application zone..."

Full Nation Name: Imperium av Lux Nis.
Bio (be as detail as you wish, one paragraph minimum): The Imperium is a empire which dominates it's galaxy, called the Nisonian Cloud. It has a estimated population of 46 billion citizens and fields massive armadas of ships. However, the Imperium often interferes in the affairs of other nations, sometimes to conquer nations, other times to help them or other times just to steal some from nations.

The Imperium's 9th Strike Force is considered one of the more elite forces of the Imperium's fleets, and has been dispatched to find the lost ship and steal the crew and ship before any others can find it.
Battle Group Munchenstein:
Av Stolzembourg (Av class cruiser.)

Av Vesquenhaff (Av class cruiser.)

Av Untereisenbach (Hain class fighter carrier)
30x Liua class dogfighters (capable of space and planetary fighting, read more in factbook.)

Do you want to help the GS Galley? No, not at all. Well, unless capturing the ship and crew is considered helping them.
Do you agree to post at least one paragraph (Sorry no one liners, if I'm spending time to make a nice plot to start with I don't want someone just doing one sentence posts saying "I will help, or blah blah blah is helping." Put more into it than that): Of course.
Do you agree to post at least once a week? As long as someone responds to me.

AI: "Warp successful."

IC post is up, maybe if Selkie was fine with it he/she can say it's some friends of the Selkie Rover company.

I would be fine with it.

EDIT: And I am male.
On a more serious note, though, should I write about their arrival or how do we establish this friendship on the IC?

I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

Okey dokey then. Well, we wouldn't have a friendship. You're trying to raid the ship, and I'm going to assume the pirates are trying to steal the ship. I'm literally trying to capture the ship and the crew for myself.

Sorry, I think I lost you somewhere (completely my fault, English isn't my mothertongue). So our two companies aren't friendly with each other, but trying to steal the lost ship from under each other's nose - am I understanding this correctly so far?

How about we try and steal it together? Make it half and half before any of the good guys try to steal her from us?

The Imperium wouldn't accept that idea. Either the entire ship or nothing, although we'd be willing to let you have the crew.

Then we will be mortal enemies. Pirates make such an offer for mutual profit, if they are declined, they act appropriately. Good luck to you, though! ;)

Funnily enough, I, too, wait for a response - by our host. Wouldn't make much sense to advance too fast without him having the chance to influence the outcome, now would it?

Now just so everyone knows, I don't quote previous posts in my thread replies. I read everyone's posts and write mine accordingly. So if I didn't quite include everyone it's because ICly the admiral doesn't know your coming since some established they were in transit to keep it realistic as possible. 8)

Hahaha, well they are all driven by one universal desire, greed. There's ways to take advantage of that. :)

True, true... and since the pirates want the ship intact (mostly, at least), they will try the non-combat solution for as long as possible.

Yup and the Admiral would rather go down fighting than prevent someone from getting their hands on the slipstream drive. So should be interesting, I'm going to wait for the others to post before I respond to your post. That way we all stay on track.

Mind if I warp 9 hours into the future? If not I can take care of that paradox.

Well I'd guess just make it to where your ship gets there as the pirate ship tries acting friendly after they found out it's not abandoned.
