Nifty. I've always wondered - how complete is Rejistanian as a language? Is it just a few phrases, something of a dictionary, or does it have a grammar and everything?
Anyway, my name comes from back when a little 14-year-old UvV was thinking of what to call his new nation. He first tried "Universe", but when that wasn't available, doubled the last part and played with the capitalisation. It's been stuck to me ever since.

I didn't want to choose a Cree name, but I couldn't help it, I wanted an aboriginal name...not sure why I bothered being roundabout since Fass outed me like three posts in or something. 'Neesika' means us/we/our in Chinook jargon.

Brutland and Norden wrote:IIRC the first thread I made in JF NSG ~2 years ago asked forum-goers this question. Since we've all got a new forum, new members, and possibly more traffic from the non-JF-going crowd, I'd like to ask:
How did you come up with your nation name?
Brutland and Norden:
Brutland: I thought I was being original, but I found out a few months later that my subconscious got it from the NS FAQ!
Norden: This nation was meant to have a Scandinavian character, so I mashed up the name of two Nordic nations. (Guess what they are.) And, yes, I found out that Norden indeed exists, it's a city in northern Germany, in the state of Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony)
So what's yours?
