Economy glitch.

My economy was 96. I answered 2 issues that shouldn't have affected my economy this much. My economy is now 2. How did this happen and will it be fixed?
Psi Levels
1-few, weak powers
2-many weak powers
3-many average/weak powers
4-few strong/lots of average/weak powers
5-may strong/lots of average/weak powers
6-god-like power/lots of strong/weak/average powers

Weapons
Plasma-burns holes in stuff
Ion-causes objects to explode/strips shields
Gauss-strips at a molecular level
Kinetic-guns
Laser-low lethality, accurate

Ship Sizes
Organized smallest to largest with smallest at the top.
Drone
Fighter
Bomber
Assault Craft
Corvette
Frigate
Destroyer
Cruiser
Battlecruiser

What issues were they, and what options did you pick?
This is unlikely to be a glitch. Issues often have unintended consequences.

The issue that resulted in "Emperor Alek Morningstar has been self-declared as the Most Supreme Magnificent Overlord of Everything You Ever Saw." seems to be the cause.

Yeah, you basically put your leader in charge of everything, including the economy.

One on mascots and one on the leader. The mascots are now Harry the Hamburger and Barry the Bottled Water. The leader is the Most Supreme Magnificent Overlord of Everything You Ever Saw.

It means you cut every single department marked in the game save for Defense and Law and Order. Subsidies are included in what you completely cut.

Option 2 of the leader issue has been known to tank economies. There's a reason it's known as the "North Korea" option among more experienced players.
In=character, Kaboomlandia is a World Assembly member and abides by its resolutions. If this nation isn't in the WA, it's for practical reasons.

When the option says it will cut everything except the police and the military...it really does. I just had the exact same thing happen to me on a puppet nation (though it was intentional).

Oscheiße this happened to me to. Economy went from 96 to 37... I thought it was a glitch too. I guess I'm gonna be working on my economy for a while now. Is there any way to like undo a decision?
