Being a Braves fan (and just now trying to get into baseball in particular), I have no clue who to root for.

*One trip to helpmydecision.com*

Looks like I'm hopping on the Kansas City bandwagon.

Well ladies and gentlemen, it looks like it is going to be another year that the Cubs choke. The chance of them coming back at this point is pretty slim, and this will be the fifteenth time that the Cubs have come up short for the World Series title since they last won it in 1908, the other fourteen being: 1910, 1918, 1929, 1932, 1935, 1938, 1945, 1969, 1984, 1989, 1998, 2003, 2007, and 2008.

Then again, everyone knows about the Miracle Mets, but no one remembers that when the Cubs win, it is always a bit miraculous too. You know, like Merkle's Boner and all that.

Before tonight's ALCS game, in Rogers Centre turf, morning at 10:
Johnny Cueto: I'm pitching tonight, and I'll win, right?
Royals: Right!
Kevin Pillar: Hold it, hold it!
Johnny Cueto: Seriously, who invited Kevin Pillar here?
Alcides Escobar: Can somebody find my crown?
Royals: Get him!
Kevin Pillar: I gotta skadaddle!
Kendrys Morales: How did this ball get here?
Alex Gordon: It says: Hello kings. You will not win.
Mike Moustakas: How did this get here?
Johnny Cueto: Here, I'll pitch this back!
Royals: Whoa!
Alcides Escobar: Look, something in the middle!
Jose Bautista: Anyone expecting me?
Josh Donaldson: And me?
Troy Tulowitzki: And me?
Marcus Stroman: And me?
Aaron Sanchez: And me?
Alex Rios: I'm gonna, I'm gonna… I feel like fai… *faints*
Alex Gordon: What is up with him? He's useless to us!
Troy Tulowitzki: Nor you! Go after them!
Blue Jays: Charge!
Marcus Stroman: Raaaaaaaaah!
Royals: Let's go out of the turf and into our dugout!
Omar Infante: Wait, where's Alex Rios?
Ben Zobrist: Shut up Infante! I'm the second baseman and you hit horribly like Rios. Unto our dugout!
The two teams them leave the ballpark, with Alex Rios lying on the turf, fainted.
Alex Rios: *wakes up* Huh? What's going on? Hello? Where did everybody go? Excuse me, hello? Guys?
Royals and Blue Jays. To be continued…

Did you like my long dialogue above with Alex Rios fainting and the mysterious ball, plus the Blue Jays charge?

I'm more of a dialogue writer. Doing one for Mets-Cubs tomorrow. Hope the Cubs pitcher hits K and W instead of L and ERA.

I don't mind the Cubs or the Mets winning now. I formed an alliance with a Mets fan yesterday about the Mets beating the Royals when both get to advance. :p

It's crazy. Count them out at your own risk, because even that game wasn't entirely out of their reach. Kudos to the Royals for making it close again.
