it's fallout why are you even using the launcher

What else would you reccomend, If I launch it from the game files it still brings up the launcher, and the desktop application, does the same.

NMM makes you launch the game directly in order to actually use mods. That's what you should be doing.

I've done that multiple times already, from both steam and backing up and then deleting the folder, Its the same result.

If NMM is still bringing you to the launcher even if you specifically tell it to launch it without the launcher then there is something fundamentally wrong with...well everything. That just doesn't make any sense.

Could Windows 10 be doing this? I don't have the problem before I upgraded, I could launch it through steam, no problem, all mods worked.

Top left corner. The "launch" button is a drop down menu. Click on the drop down menu and there should be an option to launch it manually.

If it doesn't, you can always install FOSE and launch FOSE. FOSE bypasses the launcher by itself so there's no way it'll still come up.

I see launch New Vegas and launch Custom new Vegas, It says I have to set a custom command, for the custom one.

Hm.
Try the FOSE route, then. If it works, it should also appear as a launch option in NMM, in which case you can still use NMM to play the game. Which you should be doing anyway if you don't want your game to catastrophically combust once you install your fifth mod.

The closest I can find to FOSE is NVSE and I've extracted it to the correct place, and it's saying it can't find the newvegas, exe file.

In that case you're install is botched, as I initially proposed.
Can you post a screenshot of the FNV install folder?

When happens when you try to open `FalloutNV`? Not `FalloutNVLauncher`, `FalloutNV`.

That's because they don't have NVSE installed. You're thinking of launching NVSE in NMM.

Yep - I guess I'm just so used to it I forgot you could NOT do that.

You need to select custom launch option and select NVSE.exe.

You need to select custom launch option and select NVSE.exe.

When I click the custon launch option, it asks If I want to close Nexus when the game starts.
