So a quick question for you guys, I upgraded to windows 10 a short while after it was released, and I've been trying to play fallout New vegas and since I upgraded, the launcher is broken, that that the launcher will show its image, but no toptions like play, and crashes, as its loading, I've tried uninstaaling and reinstalling the game, same with steam, tried deleting the folder and uninstalling and reinstalling the game, tried it i9n compatibility mode, with windows 8 which it had worked in previously, no dice, any other solutions?

What else would you reccomend, If I launch it from the game files it still brings up the launcher, and the desktop application, does the same.

NMM makes you launch the game directly in order to actually use mods. That's what you should be doing.

Just tried launching it through NMM, it brought up the launcher.

I've done that multiple times already, from both steam and backing up and then deleting the folder, Its the same result.

If NMM is still bringing you to the launcher even if you specifically tell it to launch it without the launcher then there is something fundamentally wrong with...well everything. That just doesn't make any sense.

Could Windows 10 be doing this? I don't have the problem before I upgraded, I could launch it through steam, no problem, all mods worked.

Top left corner. The "launch" button is a drop down menu. Click on the drop down menu and there should be an option to launch it manually.

If it doesn't, you can always install FOSE and launch FOSE. FOSE bypasses the launcher by itself so there's no way it'll still come up.

You need to select custom launch option and select NVSE.exe.

When I click the custon launch option, it asks If I want to close Nexus when the game starts.
