NEAR FRULIA COAST
U.S.S. IMPERIAL FLAGSHIP

Imperator Marcus Secundus sighs heavily, the Admiral turns to him an says, "Normally, we would've destroyed the blockade by now, but in this case, it's another Empire." The Imperator nods before saying "All stop, we'll see if they are to be trusted." The Admiral nods before shouting "All stop!" the legionary crewmen halt the ships, sliding for a bit before coming to a stop.

U.S.S. AUGUSTA
AA GUN DECK

A common Legionary soldier looks to his comrade saying "Did you hear that Brutus? Looks like the Britonians have girls in their ranks. "Ha, better I flap my cock, maybe she'll get intimidated." A few of the Legionaries on deck laugh breifly.

Knight-Captain Eleanor Foster
N.B.B. Sling Shot (DD-7)
2318 Hours

Tensions ran high in the combat information center, all eyes glued to the Battlemap. Some personnel on the ship were outside, on observation decks or had duties that took them beyond the protective bulkhead of the destroyer. From there you could visually see the four other ships comprising of the group sent to investigate foreign vessels entering the controlled area, one could also see the Vaetorian fleet coming directly at them, and slowing gradually until they stopped. The large warships bobbed up and down gently in the water now, moving ever so slightly with the current of the ocean. The other Birtonian ships dropped anchor and the Sling Shot lurched forward, signifying that they were moving to meet the Vaetorian flagship.

Eleanor picked up another microphone, one that could reach out to the observation deck. She keyed up again, "Vaetorians, prepare for boarding" this time the broadcast came through both on the radio but the loudspeakers mounted on the exterior of the ship.

"Helm, adjust by eight degrees" said Eleanor.

"Aye adjust eight degrees" confirmed the helmsman.

She brought her ship right alongside the largest Vaetorian ship, more than likely their flagship. Putting it to a halt and dropping anchor, the gangway was hauled out to the sailing deck and lowered until it reached the other ship. Crew members hustled about tying down the gangway and attaching guide wires to keep the two vessels floating at the same relative distance from each other. Eleanor appeared, clad in the traditional officers uniform of Birtonia, all black pants and coat with golden trim on both. A black shirt underneath with a crimson red neck tab accenting the dark uniform. Many ribbons and other awards decorated her chest as well, she walked halfway up the gangway and made saluted.

"Permission to come aboard?" she asked.

NEAR THE COAST OF FRULIA
IMPERIAL VAETORIAN FLAGSHIP

Vaetorian Legionaries could be seen adorned in Roman Esque armor, wearing black chestplates with a battle dress protruding down to their knees followed by boots with metal reinforcement, their helmets are nothing special aside from two or three feathers sticking out at the front of the helmet, they carried M4A1's as they watched the female officer salute, two men clad in silver armor approachs the end of the gangway, one of them wore a distinctive helmet with red furs horizontally across the top of the helmet shows the rank of a Centurion, he'd have a combination of gold colored decorations on his armor such as dragons and pegasus's. Behind him a man wearing a wolf's pelt, carrying the Legion's red banner dipicting a dragon with 'LEGIO V' above the image with 'AGUSTA' below the image. Legionaries from the edge of the ship lean in closely, a spectical to them to see a forgeiner that they aren't engaged in a battle as they've done many times in the past to tribes they have assimilated.

The Centurion, expecting a man, becomes speechless when hearing the sounds of a womans voice, and even more unprepared when faceing her "I- Uh, Ahem, Yes, granted. The Imperator is expecting you at the bridge." he says before noding awkwardly saying "The Praetorians will meet you at the bridge entrence." he says, waiting for a response.

The female Birtonian officer only had to wait on the gangway for a short moment. It shifted slightly as the two ships rolled and pitched independently of each other, being a woman who sailed for many years she kept her footing with ease. Noticing the rather archaic uniform styles of the Vaetorian sailors she simply smiled at the man who spoke to her. She carried with her only an M-23 .45 caliber pistol on her hip, in a patent leather holster. Barely seconds after she was given permission to board, Eleanor brushed past the man still stammering to himself and proceeded into the nearest hatch she saw.

Thankfully most ships were set up the same way, although this one was a little more compact than hers, likely due to the size and needing to cram every bit of space with useful systems. It appears that some of the crew members she passed in the hallways were just as about as taken aback as the man who greeted her on the gangway. Her demeanor was that of a woman who knew exactly what she wanted and didn't care who or what was in the way. As she moved throughout the ship, she blatantly ignored the stares of the crew until she made here way to the bridge of the ship.

Five minutes had passed while she traversed the ship, reaching an area that was significantly better guarded. Two men stood at the entrance to what she could only assume was the bridge, as they were heavily armed and armored, even more so than the ones outside she had seen.

"I assume this is your bridge. Let me pass soldiers" she said in a blank tone.

IMPERIAL FLAGSHIP BRIDGE

The two Praetorian soldiers can be seen as very different from regular Legionaries, they wear decorative purple and silver armor with purple cloaks, their helmets are dark, covering the head entirely with purple furs vertically shown atop their heads. Their helmets give them an emotionless look as they simpley sidestep to either side of the door, giving passage to the Britonian officer.

Upon entry, you can see several Praetorians guarding along the walls, armed with assault rifles slung on ther back, they can be seen carrying purple coloured sheilds with Vaetorian decorations carved at the front,
they also carry tall spears with a gladius sheathed. The Imperator and Admiral, aswell as several Legionaries can be seen working the computers; The Imperator can be seen wearing armor decorated to the importance of his rank, his helmet is held on his side showing black and red furs going vertically across his helmet, the Admiral can be seen wearing white armor with gold decorations, they both turn to greet their visitor, the Imperator says "Ah, pleasure to finally meet you Admiral." he says, stepping towards her saying, "Please, follow me to the conference room." the Vaetorian Admiral remains unmoved and silent, the Imperator marchs past him and enters a room behind him, also guarded by Praetorians. Inside, there is a large wooden table with the Imperial seal on the center, the Vaetorian banner can be seen decorating the walls, aswell as a very large portrait of the Emperor, Marcus Casius Lucullus. The Imperator takes his seat before awaiting the Britonians response.

The Centurion looks over to his Tribune saying "What in the name of mars kind of military allows women to be in the military? No less carry rank?" the tribune responds "We live in strange times, Sir." The Centurion sighs before saying "Profligates."

Knight-Captain Eleanor Foster
Vaetorian Flagship, Conference Room
2325 Hours

Eleanor crossed her arms impatiently until the two different looking soldiers moved out of her way, allowing her to open the hatch leading to the bridge of the ship. She stepped inside and took in the view of the bridge of the Vaetorian ship, and just like the CIC of her own vessel it was abuzz with activity. Though she was short, standing at five foot three inches, she still commanded an imposing presence her face, though soft spoke volumes about the violence she would rain upon you had you the guts to cross her.

"These people are so nostalgic" she thought to herself, seeing the edged weaponry the guards carried against the wall.

She spotted a man towards the middle, with armor even more extravagant than any she had seen on the ship thus far. Next to him was somebody of importance as well, but she could defer that the one in white armor was higher in rank. The man in white spoke, welcoming her while the other officer simply turned and looked at her.

"My proper rank is Knight-Captain" said Eleanor in a low voice, glaring at the other man whom didn't speak up.

Knight-Captain Foster followed the pair of men into a room further back in the bridge. She stepped in the hatch and observed the room, just like a Birtonian military conference room it was decorated with both flags and symbols of the Empire along with the Emperor. In her mind there was a slight tinge of disgust, seeing other people believe their false idol instead of her Imperator. Turning back, she could see several of the soldiers now looking up from their consoles, she closed the hatch and remained standing looking towards the two Vaetorian officers.

"Well, you've told me why your here. Now why should we let you land your men when we have men on ground?" demanded Eleanor.

VAETORIAN FLAGSHIP
CONFRENCE ROOM

The two men look at each other before faceing the Britornian, the Imperator responds, "Our Emperor sees that it is our duty as Imperials to assist other Imperial governments to properly civilize their people; Now, I have the Fifth Legion under my command, making about 30,000 Legionaries, the Admiral here controls three fleets. Normally, we would fire onto anyone who opposes us, but since we are both Imperials, we can find a solution to stomp out this rebellion and restore peace." he pauses before saying "But you and I both know, there are enemies that seek to aid the rebels, my Frumentarii report that they are trying to find every possible way to control this region. You'll need help if you wish to restore peace with little to no losses."

A man wearing Legate armor enters the room, he looks over at the white armored Imperator speaking to the Britonian, he then looks at the Admiral before walking next to him, before whispering in his ear, the Admiral nods before waving him off. The Legatus marches off, the admiral then leans in to whisper to the Imperator. After a momment of whispering the Imperator nods in brivitic manner before turning back to the Britonian.

Vaetorian Flagship, Conference Room
2327 Hours[/size]

Eleanor stood rigid in front of the pair of Vaetorian officers in the conference room. Her hands were on her hips waiting for the one in white to finish giving his spiel on why they were here. After he finished, she put one hand to her chin, eyeing them up and down. She nodded as the white armored man gave the run down of the forces Vaetoria brought to bear in the situation.

"Well then, the commander of the 43rd MEU has authorized me to make the decision as to allowing you entry to our area of operations," began Eleanor, "Considering you have a sizable force comparable to ours I think we can work together. The docks are pretty full but we have two open that you can alternate your troop ships to dock at until they are all unloaded. Roal city is firmly under our grasp but we need to establish outposts in the surrounding countryside. Admiral" she said, eyeing the other officer, "if your ships would take up position with ours in cutting off unrestricted traffic into the area?".

Just as she finished somebody opened the hatch behind her and walked past her directly to the Vaetorian admiral. Eleanor moved her hands from her hips to being folded across her chest yet again, a sign of impatience. The two men quickly turned away from her after they whispered in hushed tones to each other.

She cleared her throat, "Gentleman. We were not finished." she said, putting one hand on her pistol holster, slightly suspicious of the situation.

VAETRIAN FLAGSHIP
CONFERENCE ROOM

The Imperator says "Of course, please- continue." The Praetorians become weary of the Britonian due to her hostile action of placeing her hand on the pistol, however they hold their position. "My Admiral has reported of forgien satellite surveillance above our position, monitering our fleet. Admiral Marius here can reiforce your blockade while our troop carries offload the Legiobaries." the Admiral nods, looking at his watch briefly exhaling breathe from his nose, impatient, he turns his attention back at the Britonian.

D.L.V Skippy, Sailwain Class Frigate, 2328 Hours, Obzenten Captain 2nd Class Jak Guren.

"Radar contact bearing Two-Four-Eight! Make that two radar contacts, same bearing!" A young Private yelled in the bridge as he observed the two grey dots appear on the computer generated map infront of him on the monitor. "Their in the Birtonian blockade. We can't recognize them." Jak was alerted as soon as he heard the young man yell, to Jak, he couldn't have been more than 18. "How far away are they?" He said with a calm voice as to show the eyes of the crew there was nothing to worry about. But inside, he was just as stressed as anyone else in the bridge. The Private, after tapping the screen and pressing some buttons replied. "2 Km and we are closing at 12 Knots." The calm Captain nodded and drank from his white mug. "Prepare Cruise Missiles." He said after a long sip from his mug.

Jak knew about the events going on currently, how ever he fed his crew misinformation. He told them that they were being invaded and that Frulia Province was under occupation. Nothing more than that, not who was invading, not why and especially not what was really going on. Jak was a strong supporter of the Government and Harolds Veraski. Jak felt this was the correct way for the empire to go, to no longer be a democratic government that can't go anywhere with the slightest issue. The council in his eyes was a bunch of arguing children, he was glad, happy even, that the Council was being hunted down and executed. This was his chance to fight anyone trying too oppose this. Even if he had no idea those two ships were Birtonian and Vaetrian. He saw them as the enemy.

"Fire 4 Missiles and get us out of here at full speed. Get those Missiles in low and fast." Jak ordered as he looked out the window.

The deck was cleared and the silo doors in the front deck opened. When the doors stopped the Cruise Missiles launched out leaving only a white mist behind. The ship then began to forget about the Missiles and run at full speed in the opposite direction the missiles went. Creating zig zag patterns through the ocean to thwart anyway to find them.

Forst smiled as the passing scenery graced his eyes. He looked back to the man talking to him and grabbed his phone out of his pocket. "I'm a criminal now, I can't go back to my home as you have expressed. All I need is a Wi-Fi connection and somewhere to sleep." He put in the password onto his smart phone and tool out a small flash drive that was installed on the top. He held it out to the people in the car. "This will blow the lid off of my countries plans."
He placed the small flash drive back into his phone, a small beep signaling it's acceptance. "If you could, I might need a security detail. In a few days I would expect them to send a L.G operative after me." He said calmly. "Oh and thanks." He smiled.

SCENE: Limousine, en route to Shazbotdom Imperial Palace

"Well, Mr. Forst," Kennith started, "unless your government watches news broadcasts from all over the world, they wouldn't know that you have come to the Empire. Our best people will be going over this storage device and figure out all the information you have. I'm sure that when the Supreme Emperor meets with you, he will want to debrief you in person about your escape." He knocked on the window between the driver and the back. "Driver, please take us to the east entrance to the Imperial Palace." He then turned back to his guest, "Would you want us to issue a diplomatic communique to your government after the information is decrypted demanding answers to the information that you have provided us? Or would you rather them not know that you are here? Or would you want us to flood the internet with the information you have provided us to a point where it would be near impossible for them to deny any of it?"

"You can issue a communique if you want, you won't get anything back I think. Go ahead and do what you want with this thing." He tapped his password into his phone again and took the flash drive out of his phone again. He handed it to the other man, keeping it in his palm. "I'm just glad I'm out of that hell hole, ask me anything you want." Forst said stretching his neck. He was still wearing his work clothes, A white Polo shirt with Khaki pants as well as rather good leather shoes. He was paid well at his job, but not enough to hide the government's secrets.

Outside Roal City, E.A.R convoy on a main road to Roal City. Ranger Private Irv Eron

The inside of the A.R.I.D.V or Armored Rapid Infantry Deployment Vehicle was dark and as the Rangers commonly joked "ARID as fuck." Due to the stuffed interior full of soldiers. Irv was uncomfortable in his seat, as always. Ever since he had completed the test and had been deployed to Frulia a month before this all happened he could never get used to the cramped conditions of the ARIDV. The Driver and Navigator however got a very spacious cabin. This could not be said for the Gunner and Loader that stood in the middle of the 6 wheeled vehicle manning the 50mm Auto-Cannon.

The Drive to Roal City would be last atleast another day according to Irv's officer. Along the way they would take a few rest stops so that the three platoons with them could take a break from sitting inside the ARIDV's.

VAETORIAN FLAGSHIP
BRITORIAN MILITERIZED EXCLUSION ZONE

The ship would then sound alarm, red sirens gleam throughout the narrow hallways of the Vaetorian vessel followed by an alert siren; the following announcement would commence within the ship:

"Bravo Class submarine detected, opened silo doors and fired alpha class torpedo's bearing three-six-nine armed and closing on our position!"

As the sirens go off, the Legionaries within the flagship run to their battle positions in panic, the Admiral within the conference room stands up and rushes out, as dose the Imperator, marching off with haste to quell the situation. The Admiral shouts "Gaius, time of pods reaching target?"

Gaius, a senior Praefect in navigation and naval strategist working the maps on the bridge "Zero-Oh-Seven-Hundred Admiral!"

The Admiral responds "Launch counter measures at Oh-Seven-Five, I want the fleet on Testudo formation with two! And Advance at full throttle! Fire our emergency ASW's now!"

A Legionary working the controls thrusts his head up before quickly saying "But Sir-- The Britonian shi-" he's abruptly cut off by-

"DO IT NO-"

BOOM

One of the Torpedoes hit, before ASW's where fired to hit the other three, the explosion rocks the ship before the order was followed to release emergency counter-measures and to throttle foreword. The ASW counter-torpedo zooms through the water before exploding within the radius of the other Torpedoes, thus destroying them before they could reach the ship.

Fire and metal releases another alarm, the Legionaries hurry to put out the flames and make an assessment of the damage to the hull of the Ship that is to be determined. On the bridge, the Admiral was knocked out of his position, the Imperator was knocked off balanced before falling onto the doorframe of the hatch. The Admiral quickly squabbles up before shouting "Naevius! Get the Imperial Air-Legion on the line, right now!"

HMS Aurora
9 Nautical Miles off the coast of Donner Land

The first wave of helicopters cleared the deck heading towards the shore, only for more helicopters to be brought up and loaded with soldiers and equipment. This second wave was to be accompanied by forces launched from the well deck, and escorted by the small contingent of VTOL fighters the LHD counted in it's airgroup.

"Unknown vessel, you are entering a protected area under martial law of the Imperium Militare, of the Imperium of Birtonia. State your country, and intentions. Be advised you are now within our zone of control and the authority of the Imperium, obey these commands or be fired upon.

As the message was received by the Aurora, the destroyers fanned out to intercept the incoming vessels while a hasty response was composed.

"Unknown vessels, this is the HMS Aurora, flagship of Ausozeran peacekeeping operations. We request permission to establish a forward operating base in the region as well as cooperate with your own peacekeeping forces."

40. Commando
1 Minute from Frulia Province

The helicopter was a part of the larger formation transporting the majority of 40. Commando as well as a small group of Royal Scots. Their mission was to secure a landing zone to be expanded into a forward operating base to serve as headquarters for Ausozeran peacekeeping forces in the region. As the helicopters approached their targets, they began to slowly lower altitude until they were mere feet off the ground before coming to a complete halt. The soldiers of 40. Commando and Royal Scots quickly exited the helicopters with practiced efficiency, fanning out in the large field and setting up firing positions.

Knight-Captain Eleanor Foster
Vaetorian Flagship, Conference Room
2330 Hours

Eleanor stood her ground, hand still on her holster, looking at the two Vaetorian Imperial officers before her. Her hand moved off her pistol however once the white armored officer explained the situation. Her body language became a little more relaxed as well. Closing her eyes and nodding her head in agreement with the news that came from them. Before she could even reply an ear splitting alarm rang out, both of the men rushing out into the bridge to deal with whatever situation had just arisen. She quickly followed the two out of the room, but hung back against the wall, observing them and wondering what was happening. Their dialogue soon answered her questions, missiles were being launched at the ship she was standing on! Naturally the Vaetorians conducted maneuvers to counter this new threat.

A massive explosion erupted from somewhere within the ship, the shockwave sent Eleanor against the wall. She promptly grabbed ahold of the railing, keeping herself upright. Knowing that her ships would be acting in her absence she ran over to the communications suite of the bridge. Though the men working at the banks of computers were busy she grabbed one by the shoulder.

"Soldier get me frequency thirty five dot nine hundred. Now" bellowed Eleanor over the din of the bridge.

Though the man hesitated, she promptly grabbed the microphone from him and quickly thought over the tactics that would need to be conducted.

"Slingshot, this is Foster, regroup with the other two ships, forward spear formation. Attacks came from the northwest engage your countermeasures and find that damned aggresor!" shouted Eleanor into the handset.

"Falcon, this is Slingshot, Vaetorian fleet in AO, mark as friendly forces. Be advised hostile fire from unknown target, requesting UAV recon over area over" she said.

A quick affirmative response came back through the radio, Eleanor then turned to the commanding officer and advised him of the situation from her end.

Meanwhile

The few sailing ships that the Adeptus Classis brought to meet the Vaetorian fleet were instantly put on alert when the foreign flagship next to them began firing their misisle countermeasures. One got through however and impacted on the port side, thankfully sparing the Slingshot any damage, but the men on deck sprung to action. The gangway was quickly dismantled and brought back aboard, just in time as the Vaetorian flagship sprung to life and its engines pushed it towards its own brethren. Within the CIC, the ships Executive Officer moved to take command of the ship, and within instants Knight-Captain Foster's voice rang out over the emergency radio.

As the four Birtonian ships, two destroyers, a cruiser, and a frigate all sailed off in the direction the missiles came from, active sonar pinging away and CIWS pods scanning the skies. They would find the aggressor and either sink the ship or capture it by force.

An MR-900 Looking Bird style AWACS drone was launched from the top of one of the transport vessels docked in Roal City. Its operator freshly fueled by a cigarette and a large mug of freshly brewed coffee. His cameras switched over to FLIR from the conventional views only showed the blackness of night. The drone soared high above the fleets and began scanning for whichever aggressor dared fire upon Birtonian vessels.

Knight-Captain Peter Anderson
Bravo Company, Checkpoint Alpha One
MSR Santa Anna, Roal City
2330 Hours

The night moved on rather peacefully, vehicles finally understanding what a martial law quickly entailed. However of in the distance an explosion echoed across the city, likely the Adeptus Classis eliminating some smuggling target or other belligerent. Peter stood behind the checkpoint, leaning up against the wall with a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He quite enjoyed the posting here in Roal city, the assignment was filled with its fair share of action but just enough to make it enjoyable and not stressful. Tonight, was going to be one of those nights with a touch of action, as some shouts were heard from up in the tower next to him.

He tossed the smoke on the ground and extinguished it before moving out from behind the shadows. His men quickly moved into their positions, weapons at the ready. Fixed floodlights illuminated the road about thirty meters away from the gate while the towers had spotlights that could swivel around and had spotted a small car with no headlights speeding towards them. Anderson looked at both sides of the road, his men behind the sandbag walls rifles pointed towards the road.

"Move this truck to the road, I got a bad feeling" said Pete to the nearest soldier.

It was a Korvan built M-40 protected mobility vehicle, well armored and built for patrol duties. Its plating and weight makes a perfect temporary roadblock. The unknown vehicle was rapidly approaching the gate, not showing any sign of slowing at this point. The soldiers executed their doctrine perfectly a flare shot out from the line, illuminating the surrounding area in case the car was a distraction. Pete picked up a megaphone and began shouting for the vehicle to halt, in English as well as a few other dialects that would be standard here in Frulia province. When that did not work a controlled pair of shots from a rifle were sent in the direction of the vehicle. Unfortunately for the driver he did not yield, the next escalation of force would be death. Belts of tracers flew out from a tower, chewing up the metal of the vehicle coupled with rifle fire, sparks came from the metal body of the car as it spun out of control and crashed into a field nearby.

The men assigned to the checkpoint in the morning would investigate the vehicle and the body, before cleaning up the area.

Littoral combat ships were a staple of the Adeptus Classis especially for patrolling duties. They boasted comparable armament to lighter cruisers but were some of the fastest vessels on the sea. As they sailed towards the ships, one being an LHD type craft along with an escort of destroyers a message was quickly brought up on the Battlemap in the center of the CIC. Though the foreign vessels formed up for an interception, knowing he was backed by bigger well armed ships not too far off he decided to simply sail past them and approach what he could only assume was the flagship representative of these foreigners.

"Helm, bridge, adjust course by seven degrees full flank." said Gene on the internal channels.

With a few taps of the screen for his Battlemap, the reply was brought up. He sighed, yet another foreign power requesting to help with the peacekeeping operations. Knowing that his sister ship, the Slingshot had intercepted a fleet that turned out to be the Vaetorians, however it turned sour rather quickly. These ships however did not arm their weaponry, simply moved into a threatening formation. Knowing his standing orders from the TOC back in Roal city, he picked up the microphone and began transmitting his message to the Ausozerian ships.

"HMS Aurora, this is the NBB Sanchez of the Adeptus Classis, before you commit to this operation you are required to meet with the commanding officer of our mission. Wave off your ships and follow us in."

The punishers made it back to the small camp the x-force had setup a reasonable distance from the nearest town. When they made it back, the commander of the x-force had bad news, and good news. "Nice to see you four made it back, alive." Said the major. "Yeah. We also found out that the Birtonians are here." Remarked the leader of the scouting group. "Really? Well that's new. Anyway, besides that, I got bad and good news." The major replied. "Lay it on me." Replied the leader. "Well, we've been listening in on some comms across the region, and it seems like other countries have mobilized entire fleets into this region. Seems like they also brought a substantial force with them." Explained the major. "Well... How can we fight an entire fleet? We don't have THAT kind of weaponry." The leader pointed out. "Well that's where the good news comes in." The major said, as he did, he walked over to a crate that was dropped with them during the HALO, and opened it. He reached in, and pulled out a veil, he then stood up, and showed it to the leader. "What is that?" He asked. "This? Well this is anthrax. We got a crate full of it, along with smallpox." The major explained, the leader seemed to almost step back in shock. "Wha- why? This is against the-" he was cut off by the major,"We're not here. Remember that. Besides, ISAF barely follows those damnable conventions. It just prevents us from protecting our country to the max."
The leader was in complete shock that ISAF had given them bio-weapons. "So... How are we going to deploy this?" He asked the major. "Simple, load it into one of these grenades made for deploying bio-weapons and put it into an XM. Or, we literally do it with a bomb. Ya' know how the terrorists do it. They always find ways." Explained the major. The leader looked back and forth between him and the veil. "If you say so...."

VAETORIAN FLEET 'AUGUSTA' & FIFTH VAETORIAN LEGION
FRULIA PROVINCE MILITERIZED COAST

As per the agreement, as soon as the hull was stabilized by the Engineering Cohort, the Vaetorian fleet then took it's positions as part of the blockade in a joint operation with the Britonians, The Flagship and two destroyers docked at the militarized zone, finally disembarking it's Legions. Torrents upon torrents of Legionaries marched out in unison before assembling at the courtyard. The Imperator changed from his formal armor to his battle armor, riding out on a horse with his Legate to survey the offloading of the Legionary troops.

Three hours pass, when the fleet finally offloads all of the 30,000 Legionaries, APC, Supply Trucks, and AA & Artillery guns, the Admiral orders his fleet to stay alongside the Britonians in aid to the blockade. Leaving the Imperator to command his Fifth Legion. The area is once again silent, with 30,000 Legionaries awaiting the Imperator's command.

The Imperator looks over the wave of soldiers, armored and equipped with the finest arms in the Empire. Each Legionary carries a FN SCAR-L, a Gladius, and a bullet-proof shield. The sea of Legionaries stare foreward, an army of disciplinary conduct, built off a Empire forged from war. The Imperator raises his Gladius to signal the march, the Legatus do so too. A horn of triumph blares to signal the march, the Legionaries march to their appointed positions, marching inland.

The marched inland before stopping, just off the beach, they where then ordered to set up a large defensive structure along the coast. The Legionaries then offloaded their equipment, shoveling and piling sandbags, driving wooden stakes into the ground; they positioned AA-Guns and Artillery Canons sparsely along what they called the 'defensive line'.

Image

Behind the defensive line was a large camp to house the Legionaries, buzzing with activity, the camp had multiple food halls, slaughter houses, and forges, all under the watchful eye of the Praetorians, acting as military police.

[SECRET IC]
FRULIA PROVINCE
UNKNOWN LOCATION

The Frumentarii, an intelligence agency within the Empire met up in a discreet location..

"Thank you for attending, Agents, please, be seated." Said a Vaetorian, wearing casual civilian clothing.

Six Frumentarius's take their seat around the table, the man speaking leans in to say, "Agents, our satellite intelligence suggests there is a splinter armed task-force just outside of the province, and the Emperor wants us to take care of them."

One of the agents speak up, "How do we go about doing this? We're the eyes and ears, not the hands or legs."

The man nods, before saying, "We will notify our Britonian friends of this travesty, and they will take care of it, I want you six to deploy around the province, remember, no radio communication. Dismissed." The agents at the table all nod in agreement before departing, the man speaking is left alone in the room before taking a, dialing the number to reach the Britorian Command Center.

L.G, 2nd Platoon, 6th Squad, Sgt.Willans

"Contacts, 3 o'clock. Looks like airborne troops unloading." Willans said looking through binoculars. They were atleast 100 Meters away from them. "What's in the box?" The Corporal said while prone next to him in the brush. "Can't tell." The Sargent went for his radio and called in the mysterious soldiers that had just landed to his Platoon Leader. "Engage them. Anyone outside Roal City is confirmed hostile and to be shot on sight." He said after receiving orders from his Platoon Leader.

The squad of 6 loaded their weapons, 7.62 mm VAR-2 assault rifles. Silenced and loaded with B.A.P ammunition. The VAR-2 was a recently deployed weapon made by Vertaultes Industries deployed to L.G Operatives. They fired, sending ammunition towards the Unknown troops.

E.A.R, 4 Platoon Convoy, Ranger Private Irv Eron,

"Got any sixes?" Irv asked the man infront of him. Hong the cards in his hand as the ARIDV was still moving.

"Get fucked, Goldfish!"

"Stop lieing Private. I see a six right fucking there!" Said the Sargent sitting right next to him looking at his cards. In response the other man sighed and gave the card to Irv shaking his head but still having a smirk on his face. And as the card went from his hand to Irv's the ARIDV abrubtly stopped sending the cards flying out of both their hands and landing on the floor of the vehicle.

"I won." Irv managed to get out of his mouth as the rest of the squad began swearing at the Driver of the vehicle.

Outside of the ARIDV'S the convoy had stopped because of a Birtonian roadblock. The guns on the vehicles did not move in fear of agitating an explosive response from them. The Driver of the lead vehicle opened the hatch slowly and climbed out. "What's the meaning of this?"

Task Force Jackson
1 CVL, 1 CGN, 1 DDGN, 2 FFGN, 4 CCS
50 nmi from Roal City

"Well... the place has gone shit side up..." mutters Rear Admiral Miranda Jackson.
"Ma'am?"
"Shit has started exploding, and we still have orders to land the CRC personnel and provide support. Make sure every damn ship has it's IFF tag broadcasting identity and purpose. Let anyone who attacks have to do so with full knowledge that we're a humanitarian aid force without dedicated combat ground forces."
"Should we contact the other naval units in the area."
"No, if they haven't contacted us yet, we're going to keep quiet."

The AWACS in the air from the single light carrier was picking up plenty of other ships over the horizon. The shipboard radars couldn't spot them yet, but if other AWACS were in the air from the other fleets, TF Jackson would be spotted as well.

15,000 meters above Frulia Province, 100 km from drop zone

They didn't have Council authorization to be doing this, but then again, when had they ever asked for permission? The SSS was a government unto itself in matters such as this, and no one would question their intentions if they knew what was good for them. It was fitting that the SSS made use of a special aircraft called Loki. The god of tricksters and deception would approve of their ability to chaos. A fully stealthy aircraft, fitted out solely for the purposes of delivering small teams of SSS operatives into places they weren't supposed to be, there was only one Loki in existence, and the SSS had full ownership of it.

"CONTACTS!" Yelled a soldier as bullets hit the ground and hit a soldier in the chest. Everyone and their mother seemed to go prone as that was yelled. "I can't see where they are coming from!" Yelled a soldier. "Get a drone up somebody! And keep your heads down." Said the major as he pulled the crate behind him. A soldier threw up a quad drone, which instantly stealthed. He then flew it high up in the air to hopefully spot the hostiles. The drone immediately spotted slight thermal signatures in the brush. "Got em' as far as I can tell. Dead ahead, do not know how many." The soldier said, then pointing straight at a brush while still slightly prone. "All right, return fire boys!" The soldiers that were not injured returned fire. A blaze of tracers aimed at the general area that the drone pointed out. The major then ordered that the soldier that found the hostiles and three other troops to flank around the right and supress the hostiles. The soldier did as he was told, and took three other troops and crawled around the right. They didn't go too far right, as they didn't want to go into the fire from their comrades. Once they thought they were in position, they fired at the supposed location of the hostiles to suppress them. "Get some tear gas in there." Ordered the major. "Yessir!" Said a punisher, whom reached for grenade on his vest as he came up to a crouch, pulled the pin, and threw it in the general area of the hostiles.

"They know where we are!" Corporal Drahn yelled over the popping of the gunfire. The Sargent pushed him self up and fired on them as a bullet splintered part of a tree next to him. Then he saw one of them pull out cylinder and throw it at them. It landed just a few meters infront of them and spewed a white mist. "Gas!" The squad of L.G Operatives all slowly stood up and backed into the forest while firing through the tear gas. They hadn't suffered a casualties yet and the Sargent didn't plan on having any. Willans gave a hand motion that looked like a thumbs up but sideways. It pointed behind him. The universal hand signal code for "Pull back." As the squad all saw it they then turned and ran.

Willans formed a plan as he jumped over the brush. They would surely chase them, they looked like SF and they clearly did not want anyone to find out they were here. "Everyone drop and find a bush. Private Yurihkahn climb in that tree and wait for my word." They all hid within the forest and they could still hear the gun fire. Willans plan was a text book L.G tactic when engaging S.F.

"Hold fire! Hold fire!" The major ordered. All soldiers stopped firing. "Use that drone." The major simply said over comms to the soldier he had sent out. The soldier on the right flank then lowered the drone to the location, nothing. "Sir, they're not there." He said over comms. "Damn... All right, regroup. These guys obviously ran off. Either that, or they're flanking us." The major said out loud. The major was a firm believer in Murphy's military law. Like those laws said,"A retreating enemy is just regrouping. Or pulling you into a serious ambush." Once the soldiers had all regrouped, he formed a plan. "These guys obviously know what they're doing. Once we blew their stealth out of the water, they retreated. They probably went to a better position, and are waiting for us. So, here's what we do: We send in a drone and keep it high in the air. I'll have two snipers just at the edge of the brush on standby to shoot anything that moves. I'll also need a combat drone on standby. We're gonna wait these guys out. In the meantime, I need someone to find exactly where those fleets are. We want the combat fleets, not the transports. We'll get the transports next. I also want that anthrax ready to be weaponized. Got it? Alright." Two snipers headed for the edge of the brush, and setup. Four soldiers were sent out to the coast to find the combat fleets, and a stealthed combat drone which was a small, tri-copter armed with a .45 barrel with incendiary rounds was sent with the quad drone to fly over the brush and search for the hostiles.

Yurihkahn while in the tree holding his weapon had heard the buzzing of a drone. He stayed perfectly still letting the woodland Camoflauge of his clothing. If he did move he did it slowly and with purpose. Through the trees and low rumbling of the wind he could hear the footsteps of atleast 3 people. Part of L.G training was the recognization of noises and the locations of them. He looked to his left and could almost spot two figures. He then looked down at Willem "Two hostiles to our left. I don't know what they are." He said quietly through his comms as to avoid detection. "Copy. Keep it still. Take the shot on those Fuckers if you got one Yurih." The Sargent answered back while in his prone position.

Yurihkahn raised his gun slowly and pointed it at them. He could only slightly identify then through the tree's leafs. He calmed his breath and took aim through the 4x scope on the farthest to the left. The bright red chevron bounced slowly up and down as his arms moved. he pulled the trigger and the silenced gunshot quickly followed as he did so.

The bullet had hit one of the snipers straight in the head, the other sniper quickly crawled back, and dragged the dead sniper's body with him. He then checked his body for an entry wound all the while prone. He saw the entry wound was at the forehead, and seemed to have come from dead ahead. He got on a secure channel and whispered an order into it. "Joul's down... Use one of those drones to find that sniper... It came from dead ahead from my location." He was quickly given a response,"Yeah we got it." The stealthed quad drone descended lower between the trees. The combat drone was still high up above the trees. The controller of the quad drone decided to get brave. He had the stealthed combat drone hover not too far away from the quad and he de-stealthed the quad drone. Revealing it in mid-air.
