Sounded more like 'asked to resign.'

And after seeing that, I knew I'd be on the chopping block sooner rather than later. There are some things I simply cannot abide. And apparently, I'm one of those things for the site owner. I'm sticking to my principles - can't take that away. *hugs muchly* You keep smiling, feel free to tg me, or hit me up on irc (I'm always on in #nationstates - something some of the squad seemed to forget). Not going anywhere unless I'm DOs'd for having strong opinions. I'm not about to abuse trust, in spite of having mine rather beaten up and treated as if I would, so it'd have to be something like that. Muaha.
If you somehow get Dos'd for your strong opinions then they'll have to Dos me too cause I won't put up with that shit.

I rather seriously doubt Nathi of all people would get herself DOSed. She's always been quite conscientious of the site rules, even before she was modded; and I really don't see her for the type to have a nuclear meltdown the way Stephistan did waaaay back in the day. Sometimes things happen; personalities clash a little too intensely, burnout rears its ugly head, and so on. In those situations, sometimes a mod is asked to resign for their own benefit and the benefit of the rest of the team. Mods are people too, and people don't magically get along with everyone; now and then somebody just rubs you the wrong way. In most workplaces, such situations can be resolved by shuffling people to different departments or store locations... which really isn't an option on a website like this.
All that being said...
Nathi, you definitely deserve the kudos for your hard work; I may not have always agreed with your rulings or your tone and method of delivery at times, but there's no denying that you've worked hard and with the community's best interests in mind. Modding is a lot of work, often repaid by plenty of abuse and displeasure from members of the community, and I've seen that take a toll on mods over time; that was one of my greatest worries back when we were looking at adding you to the team. I hope that without having to worry about any of the moddy responsibilities/nonsense you can get back to just enjoying the game and having fun with your awesome RPs and hanging out with folks. And, of course, best wishes, fingers crossed, and so on that your IRL ventures do well; I love hearing about your crafting projects!

If it's not too off topic, what actually happened with Stephistan? Before my time.

I'll risk it. It's cosmetic, and you would have to execute it yourself to see it. I blame myself for being a geek and wanting to solve this puzzle.
- Code: Select all
var dln = document.querySelectorAll("[href='./memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=75']");
for (var i =0; i < dln.length;++i) {

If jQuery had been enabled on the forums, this would have been much simpler >_>
(btw, you run it in a browser console or scratchpad {chrome, firefox})
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’James 1:26-27, Matthew 7:21-23

I wear teal, blue & pink for Swith
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

I can't seem to figure out how to make it stick.

However, I really will miss that garish username. Once you saw a post in a thread by her, you knew someone was gonna get beat, or worse.
