TASK ORGANISATION:
1. Situation: Furukuran Sea anti - Nihonese Front (FSANF) is a minor terrorist group in Nihon, active since early 2015, attempting to turn their guerilla warfare campaign into fully fledged insurgency. Recently, two FSANF terror plots - attempt to illegally cross the border to Nihon and bank robbery in Ishikawa - were foiled by Nihonese police. Due to FSANF' s more and more aggressive nature, General HQ taken decision of retaliation action against FSANF infrstructure housed outside Nihon.
Four days ago an intelligence operation received information that FSANF unit, mixed with remnants of People's Liberation Dragons of An`Nam (PLDA - commonly called Annamese Dragons) being remnants and splinter group of destroyed four yeas ago Maoist guerilla movement, Annamese People's Front (APF). PLDA, being once APF special forces unit, declared that it will operate on it's own since four remaining major APF commanders declared dissolution of said organisation and turned themselves in following massacre at meeting of command staff at hands of Counter Revolutionary People's Militia CP2M), one of major local "self defence groups". Strength of entire PLDA is estimated on roughly 900 guerillas, active mostly in southern region (Tay Son and Ca Mau provinces).
Said unit is believed to be training FSANF (whom they see as their brothers in struggle) as well as supplying them with military grade weaponry and explosives. It is believed to be hiding in village of Trieu Khuc, where source informed us recently a new weapons transport was delivered; group may also have additional cover elements in villages of Dong Tho and Lo Duc. The unit itself is mixed, with FSANF and PLDA operating under unified command, FSANF hoping to hit pro - Nihonese government of Annam and gain combat experience.
2. Enemy Forces: A company - sized guerilla between 70 and 110 soldiers; lack of accurate data. Initial drone flights above area confirmed lack of heavy weaponry, it is however believed that enemy may posses MANPADS, HMGs, light mortars and / or ATGMs. Expected armaments include Type 81 assault rifle / LMG (very common weapons among APF / PDLA), type 69 RPG and various other Chinese - made weaponry.
3. Own and Friendly forces: For purpose of carrying this action, a new DTT**, codenamed "TSURUKAME" was created under command of Col. Shibata Hachirou. The group will consist of:
- 1st KKD (Kokukihei Daitai - Air Cavalry Battalion)
- 1st KKSC (Kokukihei Sosaku Chutai - Air Cavalry Recon Company)
+ 2n (Heri Yusochutai - Helicopter Transport Company / attached).
+ Annamese National Guard battalion (Aeyariss).
4. Mission: Neutralize Communoterrorist element hiding in the AO and prevent it from escaping.
5. Concept of Operations: To successfully prevent said communoterrorist guerilla unit from escaping, using all available means, the village should be encircled and enemy surprised by rapid, unsuspecting attack that will overwhelm him when he is unable to defend himself.
6. Execution:
a) Carry out ISR (intelligence surveillance recon) activities to determine truthfulness of the information, exact size, equipment and positions of guerilla unit hiding at Trieu Khuc.
b) Once the ISR duties are complete and authorisation is received, carry out assault on confirmed targets inside AO and eliminate communoterrorist guerilla element. Ensure safety of civilians. By no chances allow communoterrorists to escape the AO; ensure as many as possible are neutralized.
Plan of initial assault will be created and executed by Col. Shibata Hachirou.
c) Secure the area and await further instructions.
7. Coordinating instructions:
a) C4ISR There will be an intelligence group from Tokkeitai helping in obtaining data needed for completion of the task.
b) Civilian Population; Approximately 1 500 civilians are located in AO. Ensure minimal collateral damage.
