*On September 4, 1994 when two airplanes hit each other and then both of them fell in the Alferdian sea. Total of 731 persons died on that occasion, making it a deadliest single airplane incident in the krstan history.

*On November 24, 1992 Government airplane crashed in Morlendek, a small town in the southeast of Krsta, while trying to land somewhere around Olfian (southeastern region's capital) airport. Prime minister Gary Orbowitz died, just along with 9 MPs, deputy minister of internal affairs and assistant to the Minister of defense for international exchange of soldiers and training licenses on the World level. All 54 persons on the board died on that occasion. State funeral of prime minister Orbowitz was held on 29 November and drew international attention and attendance by many World leaders and diplomats.

Fatatatutti has been lucky when it comes to air crashes. There have been few fatalities, except for the occasional small aircraft that gets lost in the mountains.

One that had potential to be much worse happened last year. A Fatatatutti Air Corps C-130 Hercules transport was attempting to land at a municipal airport when a sudden wind shear caused a loss of control. After regaining control, the aircraft had lost too much altitude to make the runway and was in danger of hitting a nearby nursing home. The pilots managed to divert the aircraft to a neighbouring soccer field where it crashed and burned, thus saving countless lives while sacrificing their own.

Several years ago, there was a similar incident with a happier outcome. The celebrated Gen. Castro-Stalina (the Younger) was piloting a similar C-130 Hercules, a fairly ubiquitous aircraft in Fatatatutti, making a final approach at Fatatatutti International. There was some confusion on the ground as a private aircraft seemed to taxi onto the wrong runway and she was waved off to avoid a collision. However, she did not have sufficient power to regain altitude. She dusted the rooftops of a residential neighbourhood and loosened a few shingles but succeeded in not breaking anything important, bringing the aircraft to a safe landing in a mall parking lot. There was no significant damage other than a wingtip sheered off by a Safeway sign.

August 12, 2006 - Flight 182 en route to Cuer'ak from Dar'kaan had multiple engine failures resulting in the plane crashing into a crowded commercial district. In all, 2720 died in the accident.

Years ago, the skies over Dongxi and Beihai were notoriously dangerous, because of the sheer volume of planes.

A particularly deadly one was when a Boeing 747 cruised into a large cloud, which, coupled with a damaged radar, made for a horrible, if not impossible, navigation. The 747, Flight 1983, overshot the runway, then the airport, then the entire urban area of Dongxi, and proceeded to shear off an entire wing on a mountain. However, that wasn't just it. The Boeing then crashed into a C-17 Globemaster, who, upon seeing the Boeing after passing through the mountain's radar "shadow", attempted to flee, causing the Boeing's nose to meet up with the Globemaster's side, cutting the Globemaster in half. 439 fatalities were recorded, and only 4 people survived the incident, culminating in the worst air-to-air collision ever in Tartonica. No one was hurt on the ground.

The most fatal incident related to a plane occurred when another Boeing 747 lost both engines because of hail in a cloud, causing the Boeing 747 to overshoot the Beihai Airport, and cruised into the city itself, knocking down many buildings until it reached a 40-story tall skyscraper, which it hit face-first. The 40-story tall skyscraper fell due to having its entire bottom structure cut off, killing everyone inside, and causing the top 30 stories to collapse onto the plane. The plane, with two spare tanks of fuel, then exploded when its fuel ignited under the pressure and heat, causing a cataclysmic explosion that, with fuel present in cars and other places, reached several gas stations, making the total explosive power of the incident at five kilotons. Five buildings over 30 stories were destroyed, including United Steel Corporation's headquarters. Luckily, the Boeing hit a relatively-unpopulated section of the city (At only 1,200 people per square mile). However, unluckily, it was a manufacturing sector, causing cataclysmic explosions that magnified the original blast by up to 100x. The blast was even seen from the satellite "T4". 3,100 casualties were reported, with an additional 600 missing. Of the 3,100 casualties, 2,400 were fatalities.

16 August 1974 - Plane flying from Colchester to Liverpool crashes into a block of flats, killing all 129 on board, 79 in the building and 32 when it collapsed.

25 August 1996 - A plane's engines fail about 10 minutes after taking off from Inverness Airport and crashlands on the M23, killing all 79 on board and 18 on the motorway.

3 November 2004 - Due to an unknown fault, a plane flying over County York crashes into the woods after the plane loses pressure and all 84 die due to lack of oxygen.

Those are the three biggest crashes in Mid Lothian.

February 29, 1976- Fully-loaded Il-76 tanker crashes into Airstrip Zero after being shot down by guerrillas during the Thuraski Civil War. 891 dead.

As commercial air service is rather low, and the GAF close to nonexistent, aviation incidents are low.

November 15, 1956 - A Douglas DC-4 of Gesserian Inter-Island Air overran the runway of Gull Point Airfield. The result was the destruction of hundreds of pounds of cheese, as the flight was chartered for the Cheese Maker's Union. Both pilots sustained mild injuries, but recovered, while the aircraft had to be written off.

February 23, 1979 - An A-7 Corsair II of the US Navy at Liyajo Bay Naval Air Station, Gessen (Now the Liyajo Bay Special Development Area after the Base Conversion and Closure Act of 1991) was conducting a regular flight around the area, when its left wingtip suddenly flew off. The plane began to spin out of control, but the pilot managed to safely eject before the aircraft impacted the ground. No deaths or injuries were caused by the incident, and investigations revealed that the failure was due to loose bolts in the joint between the main wing section, and the tip (The joint allows the wings to fold as to save space when on an aircraft carrier).

April 8, 1984 - A NAMC YS-11 of Gessair crashed into a hill on the island of Ena due to heavy fog. 23 of the 57 passengers died, along with the 2 pilots.

January 29, 1993 - A Beechcraft T-34 Trainer aircraft of the GAF crashed into a field on the island of Gessen, just outside Kolaena Forest National Park. No deaths were caused by the incident, but the aircraft sustained major damage to its undercarriage. The crash was found to be caused by pilot error.

August 11, 2005 - A Gessair Dash-8-400 crash landed at Dalka International airport after its right landing gear failed to deploy. 8 passengers faced minor injuries, and the aircraft was repaired and returned to service 3 months later.

August 16, 2006 - Snakes were reported on a Gessair 737-300 while en-route from Gapatan to Gull Point. The report ended up to be false, with all persons on-board the aircraft (Including the crew) actually being mentally unstable. 2 days later, an investigation was launched to find out why such people were on and flying a million dollar plane.

July 13, 2009 - A privately owned Cessna 150 crashed into a residential home in Jovi on the island of Gessen, which caused one death. It ended up being specially modified to be controlled by remote and was actually built and controlled by the house's owner. He was intending for it to hit his neighbor's home, but by miscalculation hit his own.

Our worst civilian airliner incident was when a Tu-144 carrying 78 people crashed into the city of Skobunn in 1977 after suffering structural failure in the wing, killing all 78 people on board, and 63 more on the ground.

In 2004, a civilian Piper PA-31 Navajo was shot down by a TAF MiG-29 after expressing intentions to crash into a building in the capital city. The pilot was killed.

The only other civil aviation incident in Tavakistan occured when a Gulfstream V with 18 people on board overran the runway in 2005. 2 people were killed, the pilot and the co-pilot.

There were a series of armed clashes over Tavakistan in 1987 involving aircraft, but no Tavakistani aircraft were ever destroyed or damaged during that time.

Due to a high increase in tourists from 2008 and regular traffic in our airports we had a lot of aviation accidents since 2008

December 23, 2008: A Boeing 737-400 operating as SAL Airlines flight 1283 crashed into the docks after takeoff in San Arlos due to a mistake in the pilot's calculations. 144 of the 168 passengers died.
March 9, 2011: A BAE 146 flying as Domicona Aires 591 ran out of fuel while flying over the Hyukaian National Park and ditched in Lake Kaita
January 7, 2012: A departing Air Corsitilia 747 struck a private Embraer Phenom 300 in Kasuke International Airport. Luckily no one was injured. This was due to confusion between the pilots and ATC.
September 17, 2012: A C13 Hercules operated by the Navy went missing in the bay of Masaka. All 6 crew members are presumed dead
October 26, 2015: A Boeing 717/McDonnel Douglas-95 operated by Aer Lanca Express overran the runway while landing Takamori International airport during a typhoon and hit an office building killing 5 in the office and the first officer of the flight.
July 6, 2017: An Airbus A321 flying as SAL Airlines flight 271 suffered a dual engine failure shortly after takeoff and successfully landed back at Kaita Airport.
November 12, 2018: This is still under investigation.An Airbus A330 operating as Hyukai Airways got hit by some drones and landed off the coast of Takamori. Everyone survived and due to this, there are more strict regulations on flying drones.
May 12, 2019-August 9, 2019: During the Hyukai-Corsitilia Conflict of 2019-2020 San Arlos was captured and during a fierce battle between the Hyukaian soldiers left in San Arlos and the Corsitilian Army in San Arlos International Airport 98 people were killed, and 4 aircraft were destroyed. Reinforcements eventually came on June 11 and the battle continued until Hyukaian soldiers had to go. San Arlos was returned in the ceasefire agreement on October 31, 2020


Since our formation in 2002, the only other accident before 2008 is an Airbus A300 flying as Air Corsitilia Cargo flight 908 that reported an onboard fire and crashed landed a mile away from Katamori International Airport which killed both pilots.
