Maria Kamilia Haverkamp (née Chmielewski) - Democratic Left
Account Name: Ainin
Occupation: Member of Parliament
Party Position(s):None
Positions in Government:None
Constituency: San Cristobal―Victoria―Central
Political Ideology: Democratic socialism
Family: Nick Haverkamp (spouse),
Background: Maria Chmielewski was born on 18 June 1986 in Warsaw, capital of the People's Republic of Poland, into a family of four children. Her father was a local minor official of the ruling Workers' Party and her mother worked at a textile factory, and she was raised in a middle-class setting. In 1989, Solidarity paralysed the streets of Poland and forced the communist regime to give up power and hold free elections, ending 44 years of Russian hegemony over the country. The rapidly changing political scene caused her father to lose his job, and the family had to move to Gdańsk (Danzig) in order to make ends meet.
Her adolescent years were not particularly remarkable. She did well in school and had an active social life, and coming of age in the decade of newfound personal liberty in Poland, she benefited immensely from the 1989 revolution. She was admitted to the University of Gdańsk at age 20 and while there, met an Adrianer Dutch exchange student by the name of Nick Haverkamp. They fell in love and married two years later. She moved with him to his native Calaverde, and they settled down in Willemspoort in 2008. She became an accountant and he became a freelance journalist.
After the junta fell, the couple moved to San Cristobal due to Nick's job and she ran for local office as a councillor for the prefecture of San Cristobal Central. She resigned her seat on the council after half a term to run for national office, and was elected with 36.8% of the popular vote in San Cristobal―Victoria―Central, the constituency that more or less covers the city's central business district and downtown.

Cipriano Cortez (33) - Civic Reform Party
Account Name: Lykens
Occupation: Member of Parliament
Party Position(s):Interim Chairman
Positions in Government:N/A
Constituency: Arecibo
Political Ideology: Fiscal Conservatism, Internationalism, anti-immigration, Right wing
Family: Father, Epiphanio (54) Mother, Constanta (52) plethora of other Cortez family members
Background: Born March 14, 1982 to Construction Magnate Epiphanio Cortez in San Cristobal, Cipriano was the eldest of what would be ten children. Raised in a strict Roman Catholic household, his father's version of the basic tenets of church, family, and business were instilled in him from a young age. He went to a prestigious and religious private school which further instilled in him anti-left wing and bigoted views. By the time he turned eighteen, he was what would appear to be a run of the mill bigot. His later exposure to American values led to the realization of his sexuality, which he has so far kept under wraps, considering his strictly catholic family.
He journeyed to the United States for college, majoring in Business Administration and Political Science. When be returned to Calaverde, he assisted his father in running the business he owned with his several brothers. Unbeknownst to Cipriano, the construction company was simply a side business in a larger more shady enterprise. His father was actually a Mafia Don, running drugs, guns, prostitutes, and whatever else could pull in a profit, through and into Calaverde.
Ever the optimist, he jumped right into the business, finding numerous ways to reconcile his actions with his religion, in addition to many other activities. He became his father's right hand man, and profits in all of their enterprises rose. Seeing an opportunity to kicktart a political career, Cipriano founded a right wing party with several like minded individuals, and trounced Opposition Leader Kenneth Diaz in a landslide.
He now serves as an interim Chairman of the Civic Reform Party.

- What impact did the death of your siblings have on you?
"Great questions My 4th sibling died when I was 11, so as you can imagine, I was very young. One died in an accident, the other three because of the poor conditions in rural Calaverde. Initially, it deeply saddened me, and it still does. However, it's really convinced me more than anything that things don't always fall into place. Some say I'm cynical, I think I'm realistic."- How much wine do you drink?
"Probably too much. Feel free to join me."
