Soundtrack - Speed up 1.25
"The Hunt for the Prophet and his benefactors is growing tirelessly, with various intelligence agencies supporting Task Force Atlas and their venture. As of recently, our efforts have gone to shit, with the Prophet cleverly burying his trail wherever he goes. However, he was not as thorough as he would have liked to be. Intelligence has tracked one of his benefactors all the way to Asia; Leviathan Technologies and Logistics Corporation. Members of his organization have hidden themselves away within this company, and having already been a front for distribution of illegal weapons across the world, were able to move assets quickly and discreetly to the supply points designated by the Prophet’s forces. Agents tracked most of the shipments to random areas in the Middle East and East Africa, though these have mostly proven to be small caches of weapons and supplies. However, the most recent shipment is most alarming.
It is carrying a unit of Leviathan’s newest AI Platform; the Sabre Advanced Security System... except, it’s not for ordinary police duty. It is nothing short of a military death machine. The Prophet’s insiders were barely able to sneak it past international forces, but as of yesterday, intelligence has tracked en route to a major underground shipping hub in Eastern Europa. Elite members of the Leviathan Security forces and the Prophet’s personal guard will be overseeing the handoff and payment. It doesn’t stop there, Atlas.
Recently, we’ve gotten wind of a major benefactor to the Prophet’s organization: The Ex-Soviet Satellite State of Odyssa. They too will be overseeing the handoff, and will be providing heavy security around the hub. Any evidence of contact between Atlas and these national forces will invoke an international incident involving every nation supporting Atlas. It is imperative that all living souls at that exchange are extinguished, and the area obliterated to deter any curious eye. It has also been made clear to us that one of the Prophet's top men, Mohandes (The Engineer), will be personally overseeing the handoff.
Insertion points are marked on the map, radiation gear is unnecessary. Your targets will be armed with standard ballistic firearms; though use caution around the Leviathan Security Forces. They’re armed with Leviathan ARX-160s, chambered to fire specialized cartridges which deliver a lethal electric shock where-ever they strike you. One to the chest is enough to send you into cardiac arrest, and any to the limbs will just about disable it for the rest of the mission; advise thick armor or none at all. You may want your first priority to be eliminating them. And should one of the machines be activated, be ready for a long fight. Advise taking anti-armor provisions. Outside support is a negative on this one.
Your objective, Atlas, is relatively simple. Neutralize all parties attending the exchange, plant explosives on the shipment, and ensure the cargo is successfully disabled. Priority is Mohandes and the shipment. If those machines were to be unleashed upon any civilian population, the casualties would mount to unimaginable levels; regardless of immediate military response. I trust you won’t let that happen. Good luck Atlas.
Lennox, out.”

Insertion Point Alpha - Operation Start
Participating on this mission were numerous teams of Task Force Atlas; including Coalition SOC Special Projects and UDT/SEAL Team 7. The SEALs landed via HALO drop, alongside two SPU Members. Team 7 as a whole participated, with Captain Kate Donovan and Tech Sergeant Dee-Jay of the Special Projects Unit. Alongside the teams was a USSD MULE, carrying various Anti Armor provisions, though it stayed hidden at Insertion Alpha for the duration of the mission, barely following the teams. Once on the ground, the teams wasted no time positioning themselves strategically, and awaiting the other teams’ arrivals. Frost entered one of the ransacked buildings, and took up vantage with his rifle on the roof. Once set up, he had view of most of the enemy patrols around the area. Locke and the rest of the SEALs stacked up behind a pile of rubble, with a clear view of a cross section needed to get into the courtyard. The Shipment Containers were easily seen, on the far right of the courtyard. The two SPU personnel stayed with the SEALs, but moved a bit further ahead.
Frost adjusted the scope on his rifle to get a better zoom Mohandes’ head. Through the directional microphone on his scope, he could make out the conversation between him and the Leviathan Security Leader. They were not happy. With his limited understanding of Russian, Frost was able to make out details about a payment. Evidently there was a miscommunication in the deal. Mohandes had not paid in full, and Leviathan had threatened to leave with the cargo. The Odyssan Squad Leader chimed in, saying it was necessary for compromise. That they couldn't complete their objective without the support of the machinery. The Leviathan Security Leader argued that the given payment was just short of what the contract had detailed.
The arguing would provide Atlas with much needed additional time.
‘Well,’ Frost thought, adjusting the scope towards the various patrols, ‘ain’t the Devil in the details.’
“Frost, status on patrols?” Locke whispered through the comms, “We cleared to move up?”
“Hold on, you have two stragglers.” Frost marked them using his rifle’s tracer function. They appeared shortly after upon the UDT/SEALs’ Heads-Up Displays.
“Rog, will move to terminate.” Locke acknowledged. “Shep, get a beat on the right, Preach, take the left. I’ll watch for additional patrols.”
Without hesitation, two silenced shots went out, dropping the stragglers.
‘Poor blokes probably just wanted a cigarette.’ Shepard thought to himself.
“Kill confirmed,” Preacher muttered.
Donovan moved up, securing her rifle across her back as she maneuvered through a pile of burnt out cars and rubble. Eventually, she was at the top of an old building. She held out a monocular, and scoped the rest of the courtyard out.
“I’ve got 8 Security, 12 of the Prophet’s boys, and… shit… can’t even tell how many Ruskies we’re facing. Count at least 15, more inside the surrounding architecture.”
“Best COA, sir?” Dee-jay turned around, facing Locke.
“Wait for additional teams to land.” Locke motioned towards the surrounding buildings. “Be vigilant, we need to be ready incase they notice us.”
“Aye sir.” Dee-jay pulled his comm's closer to his face. "Be advised, all Atlas units, this is Stryker 1-1, will be holding position until reinforcement arrives. Too many to take on alone."
