So quick question What should calibre Crookfur's transitional black powder cartridge be?

basically a stopping point between .55 arsenal and .303 british somewhat in the vein of 577/450 and for the 1870-90s time frame


At the moment i'm kind of thinking about soemthing in the .356 to .40 region from which I might just split the difference and go with .375/true .38 but any other thoughts folks might have would be appreciated.

Well then, I updated my fuckin' service rifle so-as-to-avoid any idiotic tech-disparity types' of retarded "Shoehorning" or handwaving. I mean hey, if the Ulfranes Haer had the tech to pump out 48 round casket magazines and sieg-device type delies in the mid/late 40s, why on earth couldn't they use said same magazines in the service-rifle replacement? It just seems silly to not use technology like that if it's right-there, at hand and somehow made affordable.

Hey, hey, I'm gonna be remaking those killer fuckin' bullpups I teased earlier to match the tech improvements (sixty round casket mag, linkless feed drum allegories, ect) and a heavy automatic rifle model of this thing, not to mention several naval-infantry supplemental models with overfolding stocks, ect.

I reckon' that alot of Ulfrans eschew bayonets for their hip axes (similar to 11th century scandinavian hip axes or far older migration era models, just slightly beefed up; it's a cultural thing really), which are built for fightin', utility or otherwise, it's not some mamby-pamby tinyhawk or whatever.

I may make a bowie-bayonet for it, or I may not, fuckifIknow; but I do know that I'm fiddling with good fighting knife ideas for em' due to a recently forged example I've got on my bench (courtesy of a smithin' brochacho). So, a military utility "warknife" in the oldest of germanic traditions (the rome burning variety) is in the works, sort of; who knows where it'll go.
