I'll probably post an app another day. I have a weirdo character who'd probably get along just dandy with Will Powers from the app I saw. Haven't read the IC yet because I'm going to bed, but from the setting it sounds like my guy Jackie'll be quite an amusing addition to the postapocalyptic cast. Bio: Born in Richmond he lived with his mother and father out father in the woods that close to town. From a young age he learned how to hunt and prepare his own, well everything. He became a gunsmith apprentice as a way of learning how to fix his own weapons when they were damaged. Since the age of seven he has been in large into military history and keeps a large collection of memorabilia in his basement. The young Helsing came to Chicago to meet up with a friend who got a GAU-8 Avenger somehow along with a military grade humvee, they did not get much time on the range though as shortly after Robert's arrival was when things began to go real bad. After Dom, Robert's friend, ventured out in search of some answers as to what was going on and never returned the boy has been holed up in some business like complex after fleeing Dom's house in the humvee with whatever weapons and supplies could be crammed into the vehicle.

ACCEPTED but I ask that you consider his age. Unless he is a genius I doubt someone so young would have already graduated from Stanford. If he graduated early then that is fine but unless he's a prodigy, already having a successful job at that, I would assume he was early 20's.

I took it as the plane had been at the airport for the last month and several survivors were just using it as shelter. It was going fine and all until the infected stumbled upon them.

Questions for OP since I haven't read the OOC other than the Opening Post and the apps and I haven't read the IC yet: How are carriers and non-infected handled? It seems like a carrier nonchalantly walking into a room with his fellow survivors would result in several horrific deaths. Secondly, are insane infected any more dangerous to eat than a regular human, aside from carrying the virus? No rotting insides or anything? Thirdly, Reavers are common knowledge and not just legend-riddled abominations in the shadows of the night, right?

Finally, being in Are We Evolving exempts me from providing an RP example, right?

Exactly. This is a plot device to explain how my character has survived up until where I came in.

In fact, part of his shtick is that he thinks he's in a videogame or anime or something so he's gonna be pulling weird stunts since he thinks fiction logic applies to an extent. RULE OF COOL! *unnecessarily lights building on fire and attracts large amounts of infected to himself*

It's gonna be fun, I tells ya. Best character I have in my opinion, ported here for everyone's amusement. Gonna be a few days before I get my app in and post, so it's time to wait. I might change my mind and use a new character, but I feel this scrawny teen would be goddamn hilarious in a postapocalyptic environment.
