None of them would really be able to change things enough to fix the country. I would most sympathize with either the Socialist Alternative or the Libertarian Party, but wouldn't vote for either.

If I was american, either modern whig or the justice party. (well, if voting was reformed but hey they were fun to look up.)

I favor the justice party a bit more as they as they tend to have a lot of my politics in there platform like sustainable energy, marriage equality, and there stance on drug regulation.

However, the modern whig party has some Ideas I like too like their reform on voting, and their stance on separation of church and state. And that's without there principles (even though I don't completely agree) which most of the time are pragmatic, or at least are well intentioned. If there "where we stand" was still up, I think a few of them supported Nit or basic income as well, but I can't find that anymore.

Personally... I would want these two to take office instead of the democrats and the Republicans.

Edit: I also sorta like the libertarian party for their social policy, and ideas for tax credits for giving donations to charity. Other wise, they have some big big turn offs that stop me from wanted their vote.

Just put the commies cause fuck it.

I doubt I'll vote but if I break down, violate my principles, and do so, I'm voting for Bernie.

Which ones? Because I would the Justice Party would be the closest the U.S. has to a European style Social Democracy party.

The CPUSA. Their claim to be communists is nigh-laughable.

If the GOP fields a Rand Paul who does not compromise on civil liberties, and still remains fiscally conservative, or if the Democrats field someone like Bill Clinton, who mixes free-markets with a welfare state, and the GOP fields someone shit, then the Democrats, or the Republicans will have my support.

Unfortunately, Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton are likely to be the best candidates in 2016. Both are running at least partly on name-recognition (Bush more than Clinton), and both are about as electable a candidate as the party has.

Rand Paul will never be the GOP candidate. He's far too fringe even for the GOP, and that's saying something - considering how extremely partisan the party currently is.

So the nearest you're likely to get, is Clinton - if she makes it beyond primaries.

The Greens, Socialist Party, Socialist Action Party, and Socialist Alternative are decent. I'll likely end up voting for one of their candidates.

If the GOP fails to nominate a candidate I like, I'll probably vote for the Constitution Party.

I suppose Bernie Sanders being a candidate will greatly harm the Justice Party?

If I had to vote for a third party, then maybe the Justice or Green Party.

It's not going to be close in my state anyway.

I'm not supporting groups advocating for the abolition of any form of government provision of education (while contradcitorily demanding all education be religious), claiming to uphold free speech while banning all speech you deal offensive, refusing to allow equality before the law by denying rights to gender and sexual minorities while going further to actually criminalize their expression, spitting on the separation of church and state, advocating the repeal of any form of environmental protection, denying basic science, calling sustainable development a conspiracy and a bad thing, believing in the New World Order, and making blatantly racist and sexist statements. The parties I'm reluctantly supporting aren't violating the constitution, even though I don't personally much care for the document.

Bernie Sanders won't be a candidate. He will run in the Democratic Primary and lose. Him running as an independent, while possible, is unlikely.

Hope being that he pulls Hillary to the left while simultaneously thrusting social democracy into American social consciousness, lowering the population's apprehension toward anything left of Richard Nixon.

Well only if he gets the nomination, pretty much any Samders supporter will ether defect to the Greens, Justice, or Hillary since I doubt many Sanders supporters will go for the more conservative parties. Plus he could always pull a Gary Johnson move and move to the Justice party after failing to get the nomination for the Democrats. I don't see that happening but still it be interesting to see.

Maybe not. It is possible if Hillary sticks to her more New Democrat position she might detract more left wing progressive Democrats to vote for the Greens or Justice and if one of them gets a big name former democratic nominee that is somewhat popular you could maybe see a surge in popularity.

Although if you're banking on a Democrat victory and a sizable left wing opposition comes in thats easily the worst case situation.

Not as bad as Centre before National's government formation. But, yes, their austerity plans failed, as will the continuation of them under Centre. Maybe Finland is best voting True Finns?

Sorry for the late response. The Centre was governing during 2007-2008 when the economic disaster happened, so it's not right to fully blame them. The Prime minister we had back then was the worst we've ever had though, that is true.
The True Finns is a party of drunks, racists and closeted racists. As "liberal" as I may sound saying that, it's true. One of the more popular members of True Finns showed up to the vote count drunk as hell after receiving 13 thousand votes. Another one is telling us to sterilize black people in Helsinki.
