I'm pretty sure semi-autistic eight year old could have come to the same conclusion as the court. Ether way it's a good thing and hopefully this helps leading to restricts on re authority on the agency and the PATRIOT act getting thrown out and burnt.

I have now, and I'm disappointed to see that this doesn't include an order to stop. It seems more like a challenge to congress to pass a law that clearly authorized this.

It addressed just one part of the PATRIOT act and didn't rule gathering bulk data unconstitutional.

I know, I'm still happy such a discision was made as well. While yess it doesn't rule against it it still finds fault in the peice which hopefully can help in the eventual overturning of this god awful law.

This is mostly the way I feel too, pretty apathetic towards it. I will say that unless there is some sort of probable cause I don't think we really need to be monitored much.

The job they do is important, the way they have been doing it is wrong. We need an NSA, we just need to throw out the current administration of it and closely watch over it and regulate it.
