Bank of Yohannes
Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Yohannes
To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing to your esteemed institution to make a proposal with the mission of the advancement of cause of my beloved organization. As the head of the University of Videnhagen, it is my obligation to further the ideals of scholarship, service, and education. Since its conception in year 1772, the University of Videnhagen has been relentlessly committed to the pursuit, discovery, and spread of knowledge. It is the belief of the Board of Trustees and I that the Bank of Yohannes can aid us with this commitment. We would like to propose a multi-faceted partnership which has the potential to be extremely beneficial to both parties.
First, we would like to allocate part of our endowment to the Bank of Yohannes. In recent years since The Emergence Act, the endowment of the University has grown from $39.4B Universal Standard Dollars (USD), to over $45B USD. Like all competent investors, the Board has decided to diversify our investments and divide up our savings among various financial institutions. Two-third of the endowment will remain in Varish banks such as Mulighed Financial and RVBG. However, the Board would like to move the remaining third of the endowment to a foreign bank. Your instiution, the Bank of Yohannes, has been chosen. The University of Videnhagen would like to place approximately $15,000,000,000 USD in a Bank of Yohannes Cash Fund account. The interest from this money is used to fund university operations including, but not limited to, scholarships, construction/expansion, and special university programmes. The necessary paperwork is attached to this letter.
Second, on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the University of Videnhagen, I would like propose the creation of a bilateral partnership between the Bank of Yohannes and the University of Videnhagen. Year after year, we consistently educate the brightest minds in banking, finance, and economics. We would like to establish a network for a graduates and, through partnership between the bank and the university, provide opportunities for internships and employment for students of the university. In return, we believe we are giving your organization access to a highly talent pool of individuals who will become vital assets to any entity they work for. Furthermore, the University of Videnhagen would like to establish collaborative efforts with the Bank of Yohannes to promote research and education to students in the fields of finance and economics. Through investment and cooperation, there is no limit to the amount of good our institutions can do for the global financial sector. Examples include guest lecturers from the Bank of Yohannes, Bank of Yohannes-sponsored think tanks on finance at the University of Videnhagen, or joint public outreach programs to educate the general population about finance and banking. My institution has lots to offer yours, yours has lots to offer mine, and both of our institutions have plenty to offer to the world.
Finally, we would like to seek sponsorship from the Bank of Yohannes. The University of Videnhagen would fit flawlessly into the likes of the Santherese Humanitarian Society, the Stonewall Alliance, and the World Assembly. The generosity of the Bank of Yohannes allows us to provide an unparalleled level of education to tomorrow's leaders. By being a University of Videnhagen benefactor, not only does the university benefit, society at-large will benefit as well.
The Board of Trustees of the University of Videnhagen and I would like to thank you for your time in reviewing our proposals. We look forward to receiving your response.
Sincerely,
Anders Sorensson

Kia Ora Mr Sorensson,
Thank you for your interest and willingness to work together with the Bank of Yohannes. As a nation, the Kingdom of Yohannes recognises the existence of, and holds relationship of both diplomatic and commercial in nature with, over 400 nations around the world. As the largest institution in our nation, the Bank of Yohannes has represented the country of the name it represents in various cultural and educational partnerships.
Through the cementing of these relationships have projects benefiting the workforce of the future generations been formed, and long-lasting cultural networks created between young Yohannesians and students of various nationalities. We are well acquainted with the traits of a first class tertiary institution, and we believe that without a doubt, the University of Videnhagen would occupy that position among the many other renowned tertiary education providers internationally.
In regard to your first point, namely that of the creation of a University of Videnhagen endowment, I believe that the Board has given me their collective approvals, under the condition, however, that certain prerequisite questions must first be answered sufficiently by your representative, namely;1. Would your esteemed institution accept the inclusion of other - at most three - financial services & banking providers affiliated with the Bank of Yohannes, of nations residing within the region of Esquarium, in our effort to create the right investment balance for this endowment fund?
In regard to your second point, as I have explained, we are well acquainted with what it takes to create a successful relationship between our institution and higher education providers of reputable standing. As such, we are interested to pursue further possibilities in connection to your proposed schemes, namely;
2. Would your esteemed institution accept the possibility of allocation of capital provided by this fund to be directed towards entirely non-education sectors of the local and regional economies in Yohannes and further overseas?1. For the introduction of an internship programme allowing a previously agreed number of graduates of Vermark origin to occupy entry level positions in our branches and offices around the world, exchanging cultural contacts and knowledge between individuals of Vermark and Yohannes origin. In return, this would hopefully furthermore ensure the seamless cultural transition of our carefully handpicked senior employees being selected as guest lectures in your institution.
In regard to your third point, I am proud to announce that the Board has thoroughly considered the possibility of an endowment programme between the Bank of Yohannes and the University of Videnhagen, and has given me the authority to personally write to you of their approval to your proposal. Further negotiations are currently in place, as we speak, between senior members of our institution and His Majesty’s 54th Foreign Investment Committee cross party members of parliament.
2. For the creation of a joint venture scheme between the University of Videnhagen and the Bank of Yohannes towards the advancement of research & education projects, specifically those pertaining to the field of the economics and science, in both Vlissingen and the Kingdom of Yohannes.
I look forward to hearing from you and your representative.

Kia Ora Ms. Elisabeth Westwood-Williams:
On behalf of the Board of Trustees and I, I would like to extend my utmost gratitude towards your organization's involvement in our university. Not only do your efforts help the University of Videnhagen, your support is fueling the advancement of knowledge, learning, and creativity, the three components of a brighter future. These three ideals are the foundation of our cause, our careers, and our institution. We deeply appreciate your valiant assistance in the pursuit of these three tenants.
In regard to the endowment, the Board of Trustees has given its complete trust in your institution. Therefore, both of the conditions regarding the opening of an endowment account are accepted. While it is important that we maintain our funds so that the generous gifts of donors do not go to waste, we also realize the importance of investing our funds in order to create more capital. This capital is instrumental in providing a world-class education to more people of the world. We request that you invest our money conservatively, however, we recognize your expertise and wish to permit the Bank of Yohannes to have the ability to manage our endowment to the best of its ability.
In regard to collaboration between the Bank of Yohannes and the University of Videnhagen, we are excited by the prospect of such cooperation. Not only will this partnership create opportunities for University of Videnhagen graduates and students, this mutuality is an exemplary model of multi-party cooperation. In order to advance society, work must not be done against one another, but together. We hope that our initiative will spark more like it, and we believe that relations like these have the power to make a difference.
We also look forward to hearing about a possible endowment programme between the Bank of Yohannes and the University of Videnhagen. With hope, perhaps the respective governments of Yohannes and Vermark will also cooperate and work together towards a brighter future.
Thank you for your time and consideration. My institution and I look forward to a blossoming partnership with the Bank of Yohannes.
Sincerely,

Subject: Account of Mr. Andres Philip Kim
Dear Whom It Concerns,
Greetings. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Frederick T. Roh, the Chief of Police for the Korena National Police Agency. As the head of the police division of our police agency responsible for combating governmental corruption, I represent the United Republic of Korena's national police agency when in contact with foreign commercial and business organizations. As the firm defender and enforcer of our laws, it is our agency's duty to investigate thoroughly all monetary actions taken by government officials in order to determine the legality of such financial transactions.
Recently, Congressman Andres Philip Kim of the Congress of the United Republic of Korena has been found guilty of numerous cases of corruption and bribery. They include accepting millions of dollars in illegal campaign finances from the gambling industry, as well as using classified insiders' information gained from his seat in a congressional committee to manipulate stock exchanges. As such, the congressman has been arrested and jailed for his crimes last month, on March 21st. Our current findings suggest that Mr. Andres Philip Kim has transferred a large portion of his illegally-obtained fortune overseas, as investigation into his bank account revealed only a fraction of the money that he is believed to have.
An active search is currently underway for the suspected sum of money that the ex-congressman is believed to have safeguarded in foreign bank accounts. After an extensive search and review of the ex-congressman's financial records and computer history, our police agency has a reason to believe that Mr. Andres Philip Kim may have stored anywhere from 1 million to 30 million dollars in a bank account here at the Bank of Yohannes. As the Bank of Yohannes is a highly-recognized and respected financing and banking institution in the world, the National Police Agency of the United Republic of Korena expects the Bank of Yohannes to reveal honestly any potential banking activities of the ex-congressman at your bank, and to turn over all of the money in his potential bank account to our agency. If there are any concerns of questions regarding this investigation, our police agency will be happy to answer any and all of them. Thank you very much for your cooperation, and have a nice day.The Very Best of Regards,
Police Chief Frederick T. Roh

To Bank of Yohannes:Greetings! The Legion International University is a global higher education provider owned by The Legion Corporation. I am Dr Alistair Hennings, Chancellor of the Legion International University, and am writing to you today regarding a proposal to collaborate! The University operates a relatively new way of role-playing, which aims towards connecting major industry leaders to become partners of our colleges and schools within the University. The aim of our institution is to nurture the next generation, to educate and pass on to them skills that are practical in the international market. We believe in down-to-earth realistic skill sets and being global-mindedness. We want to nurture students who can create and develop new ideas and concepts to lead the industries of tomorrow. At the same time, we can promise our partners in the industry the continual surge of talented professionals to join their organizations.
The Legion International University is building its institutions worldwide at the same time and we are contacting international market experts to join us!
Our institution operates under a new education system called the Legion International Education Standards Certification Program, an official certification provided by all Legion International Universities worldwide for higher education. The program is highly regulated by the Board of the L.I. University and the Ministry of Community of the Recon Empire. With strict mandates to curriculum and student development, it offers personalized learning and efficient certification at every level from Undergraduate up to Terminal degrees.
The Bank of Yohannes is no stranger to the Legion Corporation and anyone who's had some time on the GE&T forums. As undoubtedly the most respected and prominent bankers on the market today, it truly defines Yohannes as "the Heartland of Finance and Banking". We are very interested in having you as a partner to The Kohler Institute of Economics and Business. The Kohler Institute of Economics and Business is the foundational school for every Legion University worldwide. Providing its students with core essentials to management, marketing, and other aspects of business administration and economics, the Kohler Institute of Economics and Business breeds sharp-minded entrepreneurs and market trendsetters. We sincerely hope that the Bank of Yohannes can provide this great opportunity for us to receive your organization's veteran guidance and at the same time an opportunity for our graduates to be employed at your company.
By being a partner of the University, it shows the support and recognition for our certification, and at the same time offers our students internship opportunities within your company! As the employment for GE&T businesses have not really been taken care for, this is a brilliant opportunity for us to address these RP aspects. It also provides us an opportunity for a deeper level of roleplaying in the future! Furthermore, as the Legion International University is not a single university, but is adapted into different countries all around the world, it provides a holistic and objective approach towards providing a professional and diverse employment. If you'd like, we're even happier to construct a university in your nation for your people!
Regardless, it would be a great honour to have such an esteemed partner to come on board on this mutually beneficial venture! We welcome you to visit our storefront to find out more about our organization!
As the Legion International University hopes to serve as a bridge and connecting point for different industries, at the same time we also seek your understanding in areas of improvement! We are very open to feedback on our current systems, and would be extremely grateful if you could provide us with feedback and suggestions so we can continue to grow and improve along!

Written at Silharthad, Menelmacar, this 53rd day of Tuilë in the 107th year of the 222nd long-year of Menelmacar, by the hand of Valdaglerion nos Eärendil, Councilor-Executor, Menelmacari and C'tani Bank of Yohannes Shareholders Association, to Sir Matthew Alexander Gilligan, Chairman, Bank of Yohannes, greetings;
(( OOC Note: Personalized copies of this communique were also sent to the CEO and each member of the board of directors. If the Shareholders' Association does not receive a reply in the affirmative within forty-eight hours ICly, a wide press release announcing much the same content is made public. ))
It was with some dismay that we learned last week of the bank's decision to associate with, and fund, the Yohannes 'Hunger Games' tournament.
Our displeasure at this revelation cannot be understated. First of all, the ethical concerns: the Menelmacari and C'tani position on slavery is of course well-known. The practice of forcing children to participate in battles to the death is unquestionably slavery, and is unconscionable on so many levels as to beggar quantification. That Yohannes the nation has fallen so far as to embrace such barbarism saddens us deeply; however, doing something about that is the purview of the C'tani and Menelmacari governments and militaries, should they choose to do so. However, as owners of the Bank, we are doing about it what we can, and we will not have our funds associated with or spent on the Hunger Games.
Moreover, funding the tournament to the extent that it does, specifically an 'unlimited' prize for the winners, is a gross dereliction of the Bank's fiduciary responsibility to its shareholders. Given unlimited funds, a given winner's spending may easily go into the billions and even trillions of credits. Such a commitment makes the Bank thoroughly unable to project its financial situation into the future and risks both cash flow and credit rating. Further, divestments by investors who feel as we do about the Hunger Games will adversely affect the market capitalization of the Bank, likely to many thousands of times the actual financial outlay for prizes.
As such we conducted a referendum of the membership over the last several days. After tabulating the results, the Shareholders' Association has found an overwhelming consensus in opposition to the Bank's association with this tournament, on the order of 99.8% percent. We have also found an overwhelming consensus, on the order of 97.4%, in favor of taking direct action to curb that association, in defense of the Bank and of our ethical and financial concerns.
As you are probably already aware, we at the Menelmacari and C'tani Bank of Yohannes Shareholders' Association represent the overwhelming majority of C'tani and Menelmacari shareholders of the Bank of Yohannes, and as such represent the single largest voting bloc among Bank shareholders by a vastly considerable margin. It has been therefore resolved that if the Bank does not publicly condemn the Hunger Games tournament and immediately cease all funding and association with same, that the Shareholders' Association will, at the earliest opportunity, move and vote to fire the chairman, the CEO and the entirety of the board, and replace them with candidates more amenable to our position.
We look forward to your prompt compliance with our request.
May the Shadow soon recede from our Bank,
