Kemstov Island
Approximiately areound Firebase Kemstov

Armed with AK-74s; 112 fighters of the RNSF advanced on the military base. The Roskian Military; though it considered itself to be a hyperpower; had minimal presence on Kemstov Island. They had restricted the force there to 10 thousand; and removed most heavy weapons from the Island after the 1998 North Sempit Treaty, of which Roski signed because it didn't want a potentially hostile nation on its borders.

The troops were dressed in all white; this not only made them blend in with the snow, but also made them stand out from the Roskian troops; and as the other rebels would be looking for those in all white, they would be easily spottable.

They lined themselves by the trees; for they had finally reached the Roskian base.

They slowly closed in on the base; and advanced slowly until they could hear the voice of the soldiers.

The majority of them were merely having side conversations. How disrepectful, they had just massacred dozens and they were speaking about their personal lives!

This was why the Government had to fall. They were arrogant, rude, and most of all; they had no idea how to run a country. 40 million people were dead because of their actions, and now they think they can keep control?

The troops reached a visibility of the base, and set up. They would begin the attack with sudden explosive devices detonating, tossed into the base from the side and causing chaos. While the petty Roskians ran from the explosions, they'd be running into gunfire; and the first of the rebellion would begin. The leader gave the order, and the rebels grabbed the chain explosive, started the charge at either end, and threw them into the base. The explosions detonated upon reaching the ground, taking the troops by surprise. The rebels immediately opened up with their AK-74s, and the Roskians ran for cover. The attack was sudden, and terrifying for the Roskians. Many fired blindly into the surrounding areas; a couple hits unknowingly being scored, while the vehicle commanders ran to their respective tanks.

The attack turned from good to bad, for the rebels, however. The relative ineffectiveness to counter the Roskian troops put Liberators on them, and the rebels were quickly overrun by the IR sensability on the tanks.

The rebels pulled back, and the Roskian Military had been alerted. The country was now dividing, and the Roskian people would cry at the end of the day.

The state has noticed your protests and understands your anger for the corrupt government. I only recognize your group as the rightful rulers of Roski, so we will help in any way to ensure the right people are put in charge as well as offer your nation a spot in the TTA(Tammora Trade Alliance) needless to say you not only got the attention of the state but all of the Tammora Trade Alliance. Together we will crush the communist government and show them the gift of Fascism all we ask is that you join the TTA, you need not worry about paying for the equipment we can supply your brave fighters with. So we hope to hear a reply back so we can help you with your brave and honorable cause.

From a Fellow Fascist,
Hira Miniski
Empress of the Federated Empire of Adampia

The empress sent the message, hoping they would reply back. In the mean time, a task force of ships would be assembled to show the support of the state, roughly 60% of the navy would be sent when the rebels gave the go ahead, but it is hopped they could take a town or two to have a spot to land equipment to help fight the war with the rebels. The military was ordered to prepare to leave at a moments notice, even the Sal Kar, the state wasn't about to allow a corrupt government to remain in power for long. The time had come to liberate Roski, but this time the people were angry at the government, angry at them for starting a war. The revolution had come.

Supreme Chancellor Jord Kardulas
Korosk, Dozher Empire
12:00 Midnight

Kardulas walked back inside from the Hall's stage, heavy blue cloak dragging behind him. As he took each step, the crosses at the end of the chain that looped over his neck jangled against various metal embroidery. Kardulas sighed deeply, relieved that all went well and that the public reception was positive. Before going into this, giving the speech, which could hardly be called a speech, he wasn't sure if the Dozheri would be receptive to a change in leadership, especially one that wasn't exactly legitimate. But it all worked out anyway.

Five Hours Earlier, Inside

"Yes, yes of course. We'll be sure to get that out." Lanning confirmed, bobbing his head expressively. "There shouldn't be a problem with that, Kardulas."

"Good." Kardulas said, without a smile or a frown. In times like these, the best way to keep men on their toes was to be as inexpressive as possible. "That takes care of Krödulåg Island. Hopefully ten thousand troops will be enough to take the border until more can reinforce them. Speaking of which..." he said, turning to the Minister of Defense.

"Oh - oh, yes. We've got some amphibious landing groups massing off of the Daensk Fjords." said the Minister, "They'll be leaving within the hour."

"And their detection?"

"Virtually undetectable." the minister continued, beaming, "Nobody's noticed the build-up, and we'll be flying to and from Krödulåg Island, jamming any radars along the way. The Roskians, or anyone else for that matter, will not know until our troops land. And even then, if they don't meet resistance, we could drive further inland."

Kardulas let a small trace of a smile show, putting the minister at ease. "And what of the naval deployments?" he said, turning back around to the Grand Admiral.

"Deploying. They've been scheduled to have drills in the Dozher Sea, so it's not that big of an issue to divert them a little farther from the Mederov Island." The Grand Admiral answered, fingering through his beard, "We'll start seeing other people's alarm bells go off a little while after that, though."

"But it'll be enough time to secure the ports south of the border?" said Kardulas, with his arm stretched toward the thick red line on the map.

"Should be. Just so as long as there remain no coastal defenses, and that the rebels on the Roskian side keep their army busy," the Minister of Defense said, "we'll have a superior force on land."

"Do the rebels know we're coming?"

"Oh, hell no." General Lanning chortled, "We don't want them ruining the surprise, do we? But they'll know we're on their side as soon as the first Roskian falls."

"Good." Kardulas smiled genuinely for the first time, rising. He nodded to each of the men in turn, acknowledging their genius in formulating the plans, affecting both Krödulåg and Dozher as a whole. This had been a long time coming, and now that old insect, Mazhenisky, was dead, they could move on.

Three Hours Later, En route to Krödulåg

The waters were dark, but light. The waves concealed everything in front of them, and they couldn't see the next ship to their own. The other ships had their lights turned off, and were maintaining radio silence. But the seas were light - the moon and stars overhead illuminated the sea below, giving it a misty blue color. Some men were cowering in the holds below, awaiting the first klaxon sounds that would signal the assault, and others were braving the sea mist on the decks of the transport.

Orders had come in from NAVCOM. When they were read out to the captains of the vessels, it was imagined that they all groaned at the same time, visibly disappointed with the orders. All the ships were to beach, and all men and transports were to unload by daybreak. They knew that MILCOM was determined, hell or high water, to take the island.

Two Hours Later, The Grand Hall

Jord Kardulas stood there, having borne the roar of applause for near five minutes. When it finally died down, Kardulas began speaking.

"Men, Women, and children of Dozher!" Applause ensued again, but this was merely polite clapping, and Kardulas managed to quiet them down quickly. But then he paused for effect, which led to somewhat of an awkward silence, in which Kardulas looked at each end in the room. Then he suddenly raised his fist in the air, and screamed.

"Victory!"

This ignited a thunder of applause and yelling that could not be quelled, and Kardulas decided not to quell it - instead keeping his fist raised and taking in the adulation of the crowd before him. While the applause was going on, the new banners of the Dozher Empire were unfurled from the top of the Grand Hall - five stripes, representing the five original High Lords of the Empire, in blue and white. Two white iron crosses lay at the left and right (as they hung from the roof), representing the two Great Lords that accepted Christianity in the Old Ages.

When these banners unfurled, the roar of applause became deafening, and then organized itself into a controlled chant of "Væg!", while they returned the salute Kardulas gave - an outstretched arm, with a fist. Kardulas changed his position to raise his arm upward, as if he were directing the energy of all the fists aimed toward him to the heavens.

Behind him, cannons fired. One, two, three, four, and five resounding booms shook the Hall and the crowd before him. Kardulas would have gotten planes to fly overhead, but they weren't sure if SAM sites were still active and loyal to the democratic regime, and besides, it was dark. Kardulas felt that there was no need to continue with a lengthy speech, and decided to step down from the podium and exit. They all knew what the Fascist Party stood for, and what they could expect. It was time to advance.

The Same Time, Krödulåg Shores

The ships had been listening to the speech - or rather, the small collection of words. Radio silence wasn't of much importance now, since they were relatively close to the shores. If the Roskians hadn't detected their approach, they would, soon. Roars emitted within the hulls and above the decks, filling the skies and seas with the testosterone of ready warriors. At the same time, the ten thousand men stationed at the border of the island would be pouring south, tanks and all.

The men kept their cheering, as the battleships in the rear guard unleashed their barrage on the shores ahead, laying waste to whatever fortifications that lay there. Recent military intelligence suggested that it was lightly fortified, with little to no obstacles. It wasn't an important target to defend, but the Dozheri weren't there to take a target - they were there to open a new door into the island.

Soon, there was a sickening crunch that quieted the cheering and shouting, with some hulls being ripped open by buried boulders. The larger ships that managed to hit sand kept going for several meters more, but lay dead in the shallow water like their companions. Silence ruled the land, sea, and sky, until the doors opened.

Chaos ensued. Men poured out from some transports, tanks rumbled from others, guns pattering away at the shore from the deck of the ships and guns answering from the hills beyond. Mortars on the hills opened up, whistling through the air and crashing down into the sand, blinding men and bending steel, splashing water everywhere. The thuds, rattles, and screams took up the air, and carried for miles, the sorrow and misery of many striking out into the world as souls lifted from the earthly world to the one beyond. Blood soaked into the sand and dirt, and tainted the water, gore spattering against rocks and hulls alike, as men that had hopes and goals of making it to the other end of the beach had their thread cut by the Fates.

Soon, however, it all ended. The Dozheri were able to get to the other end of the beach and eliminate the very few bunkers that laid in wait, and the mortar installments that had previously rained death. In all, the Roskian defense force, which was far less than what MILCOM made it out to be, was completely destroyed. The death toll that would be taken just before sunrise would say 164 Roskians dead, with 213 Dozheri dead. Tanks lay on the sides of trails and buried in the sand, hulls burning on the organic matter that lay inside.

It was a success, though. The Dozher landed over twenty thousand men and numerous tanks, with more on the way. The border forces had spilled over the arbitrary line set in 1998, and routed the Roskian Junta forces, and linked up with the Roskian Fascists, who were very receptive to their arrival. The blue banner of Dozher flew that night.

How proud that flag flew!

Somewhere near the Northwestern Arctic Shores of Atlas
1400 Hours

Image

The waters were calm aside from the occasional hitting of the waves upon the glacial ice of the Arctic. The waters dark blue and distant from the shores of the nations of Roski and the Kingdom of the High Lords. Both nations influential in the Northwest as well as their surrounding waters. However with the growing implementation of modern submarine technology, Bavaria has been able to monitor areas that could not have been watched over via satellite giving information and the occasional report of operations of importance. The submarine designation SS-78 rested some two kilometers from the coastline where ice had still covered the surrounding area. The men enjoying a moment to get out of the submarine, even if it was -30 Celsius weather, it was better than being cramped within a submarine for another 3 months.

The Commander took out his binoculars looking around the ice and waters for signs of icebreakers and the such as to be expected in the harsh waters. Nothing had been spotted as to be expected in the area among the direct north. He the commander sighed and looked to the co-commander. "Comrade, what is the orders from High Command? We should have received them by now after being given designated orders to await here." The co-commander looked up from atop the hull of the submarine with some of the men enjoy a game of cards while others messing around with a seal. "They said to await half an hour for orders." The commander rose his binoculars again as he looked back into the icy straights. "Well, we've been here for two hours now. They better bring in the commands, I'd rather not sit here all day." The co-commander gave a small salute, "Jawohl, Kommandant."

As the commander watched the waves, the communications officer exited the hatch of the submarine and looked for and spoke to the commander. "Commander, we've gotten orders!" The commander lowered his binoculars as the communications officer held a paper to which the Commander climbed up the ladder and took it, entering the submarine behind the communications officer. The commander upon entering the command room of the submarine read the paper and laughs to himself. "It's good to see we have something to do once again." The Commander turned to the CO. "Tell the men to prepare themselves. We are due to leave in half an hour." The CO nodded and relayed the message to the rest of the crew as they prepared to move for their next orders.

100 kilometers south of the Submarine's stand-by
1700 Hours

A convoy of four cargo ships accompanied by two escort vessels, to ward off pirates and the sort, had entered the straights en route to the Lovarium Dominion bringing weapons and other related materials of the sort, however the knowledge of their cargo was that they were carrying various consumer goods and raw materials such as Tungsten and Steel. The ocean itself littered with occasional ice making the transit to Lovarium treacherous though preventing Dozher interference on the transit.

"Escort-2, how is that ice ahead?"
"Ice seems clear of the way ahead, proceed with caution. SONAR is going to be hindered a bit though with all the ice still. We don't know what's under the water so watch it."
"Thanks, Escort-2. We'll keep that in mind." The convoy continued through the clearing of the ice.

50 meters below the water some 800 meters away

"Convoy spotted and in the predicted path, orders Commander?"
"Proceed within effective torpedo range and then commence firing of a torpedo into one of the cargo ships."
"Understood, preparing the torpedo tubes and the counter measures."

The submarine began to creep closer to the convoy as it passed through the ice. "Firing torpedo 1!" called the Firing Commander, the first torpedo of 540mm in width exited its tube and approached the convoy's front ship.

"This is Escort-1, torpedo port side!" but the destroyer's warning was too late. The 540mm torpedo entered the side of the cargo ship and exploded throwing the cargo ship in half and quickly began to sink into the water.

"Disengage the submarine. We've done our order, fall back." The Submarine turned to his co-commander after the submarine had reached a safe distance from the convoy. "This went quite well, afterall, this plan by the Higher Ups was a great idea. Sinking a ship of our own purposely and blaming it on the Fascists. The perfect cause for an intervention." The two drank a shot of whiskey and began to write up a report on the incident.
