I'll make it easy: according to the Pew Research 14% of Muslims world-wide believe terrorism is justified. Find me a statistic that shows that 14% of American conservatives believe Muslims should be deported. Should be easy enough.

Yeah, that was probably the reason. Since they heard "Allah" (if I am understanding the translation correctly, "allah" being of similar usage in that it can refer to both deities in general and YHWH), they flipped-out almost as though it was a terrible idea to introduce religious nationalism into what was just an expression of civic nationalism as expression of the social contract.

Look here, I'm not actually saying conservatives are bad by definition. They are wrong by definition, but that's something completely different. I used a few examples and exaggerations. There are not a lot of people actually advocating for those camps. But there are a lot of conservative news outlets discussing the idea of making Muslims a sort of second class citizen, or restricting their rights in one way or another. On the other hand, you proclaimed all liberals to be light-hearted idiots because you thought getting annoyed by language was something 'liberals would do', even when this issue was largely brought about by conservatives.

The thing is, there is no difference between God and Allah. Allah is just the Arabic word for God. If you swear on the constitution, I swear on the 'grondwet'. The same goes for God and Allah. There is no difference. Well, just in their perception of God, but that differs among Christians as well.
