Fuck that game.
Most painful completion run ever in my life.
Honestly tho, levels are far too open and gun orientated, which sucks because I used to blitz the shit out of the levels on HM-1.
Soundtracks better doe.

Yeah, there's a lot of enemies that end up off screen, and I have to hold shift everywhere to make I didn't miss any. And the movement and controls seems a tad bit more clunkier. I still like it a lot though so far, and of course, the soundtrack is the best.

3RD DRAFT
HOME FAMILY COMMUNITYWelcome to the Sublime Neighborhood of Whittington Hills!
Situated between lush forests and overlooking the vast beautiful tranquil sea lies as a modest self-sustaining private community, this is the premiere place to raise a family, grow old, and establish bonds that will last a lifetime! Whether your family large or small, generations of rich history is promised to those that call Whittington Hills their home. The community is self-sufficient in every way possible, with a hearty stores that are wholly private owned; a capable private security force that ensures the safety of the community, recreation and luxury amenities and - less than five miles east - Columbo Springs, an established mining town which adds to the generous and robust surplus of Whittington Hills’ centralized economy. Despite its relatively young history, there’s a historical society located in Whittington Hills, chronicling the history and story of the region that surrounds this quaint neighborhood and a Town Center that handles the day to day affairs of Whittington Hills from public works and security, to community festivals and public offerings (classes, activities, etc). Indeed, there is no place that can match Whittington Hills and its promise of prosperity!
But nestled in this pseudo quaint community of cozy homes and warm hearts lies a dark secret kept quiet for an uncounted time. Quiet nights give way to the mechanization of something untouchable, but not the other way around, as its' schemes and influence slowly encroach upon these unsuspecting residents. The forests that surrounds Whittington Hills hold a history few speak of, let alone are aware, and the foundations of the houses of Whittington Hills are etched with more than its residents truly comprehend… or care to admit. Something stirs in the dead of night, its goals are tasked to its servants and sooner or later it will achieve what it set out for.
Can this town of honest men and women survive and uncover the truth of Whittington Hills?
Can they survive?

RED LINE - Road leading in and out of Whittington HillsColombo SpringsColombo springs is a large mining town which almost fell of the map after the towns life line, mining, stopped being profitable in the late nineties, but it was "Revived" after a recent explosion in the suburban area due to the beautiful and picturesque landscape that surrounded it, with it only being a several miles outside a major city. The town in itself is east from whittington hills and the older and more experienced residents of this gated community often only use the affluent eastern side of the town as a place to shop for essential goods and rightfully so, due to the vacuum of employment created by the closure of the mines, in the western and northern parts, crime has become rampant over the last ten years. Thief and gang violence becoming an epidemic among the youth, homelessness is more than common due to no work and the rise in popularity of methamphetamines, which quickly became an escape from the harsh confines of reality, and disappearances from the vagrant community is happening in an eerily rate, with the local community rumors ranging from kidnappings for black market organ trade, to demons taking them into the woods; all of which could be considered partly due to the brutal cuts to the local sheriff units funding, with once effective police force is now a former shell of what it once was, the sight of highway patrol coming in to help police the place becoming common place. This information however, is largely kept off the brochure, with it only mentioning the nice, middle class suburban area.
Built during regional gold rush in early 1900's, what initially started as a small set of cabins filled with opportunistic prospectors, it quickly blossomed as large quantities of more and more valuable materials such as coal and copper were discovered in close proximity, eventually becoming a full sized town by the late twenties as R.J Whittington (or whatever), a mining tycoon, quickly expanded and moved in his operation, creating jobs and himself gaining a large fortune, which resulted in him starting the ambitious project that was whittington hills. The town reached it peak during the sixties, with around fifteen thousand citizens before it started going into a gradual decline caused by several factors, primarily due to the various mines quickly started becoming tapped, and the explosion of the Henderson mine, which resulted in the death of one hundred and twenty miners (Funnily enough, the bodies were never recovered and the collapse seemed to have been caused by a deliberate explosion.) and was regarded as one of the worst mining disasters since the Buffalo Creek Flood. And by the nineties, all of the mines in the region had been closed, sucking the life blood out of the town.
Blackwood National Park

Flicking through the pages of the whitttington hills luxuriously designed brochure, you come across a small page plastered with pictures of a beautiful looking forest and a lake, which is covered with the orange glow of the sun setting, below this, is a small selection of information.
Seeking some fresh air? a place of peace and sanctuary from the confines of urban living? then look no further than Blackwood National Park! the second largest forest in the north eastern area of the united states! Bordering the gated community of Whittington Hills, it is perfect for residents who want to take in some nature without having to step a great distance way from civilization! With hiking paths leading unto picturesque peak of Hanratty hill and a private camping area near the black-wood lake for whittington residents only, experiencing the relaxing, freedom of nature and wildlife has never been so easy!
Just as the brochure suggests, the forest around Whittington Hills is most certainly beautiful and tranquil. Yet there is certainly something mysterious about it, something eerie. under the face lift that the brochure gives blackwood speaks of a number disappearances in this wonderful national park. In-fact, blackwood has more unsolved disappearances attributed to it than any other forest in the north eastern area, with it seemingly being down that they became lost in the mostly deciduous and occasionally coniferous flora that adores the entire area. Several theory's and explanations have popped up, with most of them being nothing more than urban legends, the most popular being that of the organ snatcher, a man who kidnaps hikers to sell their organs on the black market. Disappearances aren't the only thing to plague blackwood, Strange sighting of odd beings are frequent among paranormal but it was clear no one would even try to listen to these strange occurrences. The woods do cover vast territory, so the fact that people get lost shouldn't be all that extraordinary. Or should it? In any case, the lurking and oppressive yet disturbingly pleasant aura will remain hidden in the forest.

Due to the size and prestigious nature of the gated community, coupled with the distance between from Colombo springs, Whittington hills ensures that the laws of the community and state are enforced by using Community support officers, or CSO's for short. Comprised of volunteer residents with a military or police background and a few professionals from the private security company known as Salem Security Solutions, which is owned by one of the most predominant members of Whittington hills. They handle the day to day tasks required to keep the private town running and secure, by preforming high visibility patrols, tackling anti social behavior, dealing with minor crimes and providing support to front line support to the local police in the event of a major crime within the town. At first, the powers that they actually have access to where limited, due to the laws that restricted them preforming similar roles to actual police officers, however, due to a loop hole in a recently paced bill and due to the budgeting cuts nurturing the sheriff department, the CSO's have started equipped themselves to deal with the more major crimes, even though its a rare occation that such a crime happens. With the CSO's now becoming more police like, Whittington Hills is planning on becoming totally self reliant by the end of the year.
Identifiable by their navy blue and black uniforms with identification and rank patches, high visibility vests and a flat cap with a Whittington hills crest, along with a blue rim. CSO's are commonly issued with hand held radio's, handcuffs, cable ties and generally some sort of self defense item, such as pepper spray, batons and in extremely rare cases Sig Sauer P220's, Mossberg 500's shotguns and Remington 700 rifles. They also have access to vehicles, which are branded Crown Victoria patrol cars and Cadillac Escalade's.This will include all information from Jess' contribution on the Demons from WLITD; along with other munsters (i.e. fleshgait, etc.) we might encounter. To Be Added
