With Ancient Humans mentioning PMT technology, I DO have to ask, is being MT (as in 2015) a little...under tech? I don't mind! But I'd like to be aware if my troops can actually make dents, so when I do post, I'm not making a mistake in the technology my soldiers will be slaughtered by haha.

Except the images of that do not convey PMT at all...
Actually, most of it looks like a slightly modified rip-off version of stuff i've seen in Halo. PMT, for the most part, looks very similar to MT, on the outside. Even the FALKEN looks pretty similar to any ordinary MT jet. Of course, its not, but you can't see that from the outside.

Well the Units themselves are from a game called "Supreme Commander" and aren't most PMT things similar to MT in the first place?

Yes, they are, i said that. The thing is, it's pretty laughable to say any even PMT fighter could match a FALKEN alone. Yet until you see the thing practically bounce missiles off what seems an invisible shield you would think someone just got drunk while designing the thing. On the other hand, your fighter looks like...
It would be more at home bombing whatever they're called in Halo or that one game. Seriously do see how big it is? Looks massive!

What thing in Halo? I think I've fallen out of the loop.

Some alien race or something idk. A good rule for PMT, is base what your stuff (at least looks like) off MT stuff. For example, my scout fighters are basically PMT F-22s with anything not necessary for flight or the scouting role removed and the engines replaced with even bigger ones.

I believe you're referring to the Forerunners then.

At the coast between fortresses you will find barbed wires, mostly. But also trenches and mines. with most of the coast being cliffs, bringing in armored vehicles would be difficult, making the harbors the only proper place to deploy tanks and such. The number of soldiers present depends on where you strike. If you attack near a large fortress, like the Sixth Legion's primary fortress you'll face a large force, those areas can house over 50,000 soldiers.
Striking an area near small and medium sized fortresses will be easier, with roughly 10-20,000 soldiers.

You understand the range of artillery guns right? And that this means you have a fortress every roughly 11 miles right? The cost of that is insanely unrealistic. And if they use Rocket assisted projectiles, its every 22 ish miles. Which is still ridiculously expensive to construct everywhere, and then maintain.

A worthwhile investment.
The Seventh Legion recieves the most funds of all the Legions. They spend it well.

Uh, i don't think this is being understood.
You wouldn't have the money for up-to-date weapons for the overwhelming majority of your military forces if you had to upgrade and continuously repair what is essentially a fortress spanning your entire coastline. That's absolutely absurd even for me and my stupidly huge budget for defense.

We only have to cover one coastline. Build most of the defenses along with Paginista as we schemed against the former nation of Alqazar, about one year ago irl.
And it's not like we gotta replace all them fortresses every year.

Actually, it is like you do. They're coastal defenses, and cement and salt water are not very good friends with one another.
Also, this is making me use Divinity alot sooner than i had intended.
