What is that better for? Waging war, I suppose?

The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."

Mostly Reformation/30 Years' War stuff really. At least the paid DLC portion.
Also lets you transfer siege control to allies.
Here, have the link, judge for yourself.

Thanks. It also lets you create custom "mark" nations, right?

Assuming you mean this, yes.
Of course, El Dorado lets you make >2 dozen custom nations at start, so there's that to consider in the "make your own nation" department.

March nations was the correct name, sorry, got it mixed up. Although you can create those custom nations while in-game, right? Not sure if that is possible in El Dorado. Still, I guess if I',m not terribly interested in religious wars, Art of War probably isn't the better choice. Agreed?

Better not be fucked up, i just created a sweet observer game with 20 ai nations battering one another in not too distant future.
I had a 32-custom-nation observer game starting at 51 AD running. Got up to year 1100 before I turned it off.

Well, Egypt invaded western Arabia and formed the Rashidun, who then proceeded to totally fuck up Carthage, Persia, and south India.
Greeceland ended up taking over half the world, and OPM Kiev blobbed so hard it formed Ukraine.

Just booted up my game and it's working great so far. I'm finally receiving gold fleets, although, I think I preferred not having them. Damn inflation . . .Bezombia wrote:

I'm very interested to know how you designed your 32-nation game. I have a vision of doing something similar and if there's any must-do's or don't's, I'd love to get feedback on that.

As you see, France has become a One province nation. Luckly they are allied to Munster so that once i go to war with them for the last time i'm able to vassalize France and at the same time i get the chance to vassalize my first HRE elector.
I plan to return a few cores to France after they have become my vassal to make sure i have a proper military puppet to fight for me.
Once that war with France and Munster has ended i will break my Alliance with Burgundy and i'll switch over to Austria. Once Burgundy has been taken out i drop Austria and switch to Russia. Just hope that i get enough electors vassalized in time.

I wasn't able to destroy Portugal early on but they're still my allies so i guess its okay. In the America's i'm only hunting for the newly added achievement which states Castille (or Spain, not sure) needs to own Havana, Mexico and Cusco. Should be done without any issues.
Not much to do in Africa, i'm not really planning on doing much there or in Asia for that matter except for conquering all of Japan for the Rising Sun achievement.
Also, wtf is this? Since when can Sunni nations join the Catholic league?
