As far as I'm aware, it's all up-to-date.

EDIT: if nations are unhappy that their nation has not been added, it'd be far more efficient to TG the committee rather than post in the sign-ups; you're less likely to be missed.

EDIT AGAIN: Don't mean to sound like an ass, but, I'd find it easier that way.

The two I remember were Communist Quinntopia in WV29 and Polkopia in WV30.

I came second on both editions I hosted. I tend to not like winning on home turf, but I'll be pleased with a victory regardless of where it is.

Nekoni sends Black Tambourine to WVSC37

Image

SHOCK AND AWE. Nekoni Radio & Television (NRT) actually still exist, and have announced today that they shall be entering the 37th WorldVision Song Contest, their first since WVSC30. When called, NRT president/consumer/drunk Mika Lyndberg replied:

"Yeah, erm...I don't know what happened. I think we all went off for a picnic and turned left instead of right at the traffic lights. We spent six years in a bramble hedge in the middle of Kishrael. We heard loud music but we didn't know where it was coming from, and we were too scared to look because the brambles, they're really spiky, you know?"

When asked about the obviously fabricated excuse and pressed for a real reason, Lyndberg swaggered drunkenly, called the press a bunch of 'toothless lizard people', then tripped up and landed on her face.

A later press statement revealed that the popular pop-rock group Black Tambourine shall be entering with I'm in Love Again, and that NRT are recruiting for a new president, preferably one whose blood doesn't ignite with a blue flame.

Song for the World II
Chanson pour la Monde II

Hosted by Martha Alix (born Martha Alice Rosenthal; 13 March 1976), Song for the World is Lymantatia's national final for WV36. The six songs will be broadcast on Martha Alix's evening show Alix bei Sonnenuntergang. The singer is LEAf.

18 February 2015,
and this is Song for the World,
where there are six songs
performed every night
and the winning song
will represent Lymantatia
in the WorldVision
Song Contest 37.
Why do I keep saying
the same thing?
(people screaming)
Tomorrow, the last song
will be broadcast
on the show.
In the meantime,
I will now introduce
the fifth and penultimate
competing song right now.
The fifth song was written
by Andrew Cooper
and it is called
Those Were The Days.
...
Those were the da-ays
Those were the good old da-ays
But they've gone away
There must be a way
...
(applauding)

Song #5: Those Were The Days
Title Translation: N/A
Tune: Anti Social Media - The Way You Are (0:27-0:39)
Genre: Rock
Language(s): English
Lyrics: Andrew Cooper
Music: Andrew Cooper

NOTE: Again, not the participating song, but one more song left.
Baptism of Fire 44 Round of 16, de facto retired.

Voice of Chameliya

After Chameliya's debut in the last edition of WorldVision, public interest in the song contest has soared. For this reason, the national broadcaster, Chameliya Television has decided to open up its selection process and hold a national final, Chameliya ko Sor (Voice of Chameliya). Dozens of artists submitted their tracks, but only 3 made it to the final. Unusually for a national final, we have withheld the names of the songs and their artists. This has been done to try and reduce voter bias.

Song 1

Song 2

Song 3

Are you trying to tell us something?

Anyway, we certainly have a lot less than the last couple of competitions in terms of host bids. It'll be interesting to see how close it is, I suppose.

Pracib-oh-Vision
Praciba's quest for a winning WorldVision Song Contest artist

To allow for a better participation within the WorldVision contest and perhaps receive Praciba's first win, Pracib Royal TV has decided on using a revolutionary type of National Final, allowing for the total freedom of both artist and song. Having decided on three artists and three songs, to allow a total of nine choices in regards to Praciba's participant of WorldVision Song Contest 37, there will be plenty to vote for in this WorldVision Song Contest's National Final!

The artists!

1 - Kaiser Friedrich Fantastisch
Image

Who?
Kaiser Friedrich Fantastisch, stage name of Klaus mós Misþalos, is Praciba's most popular Schlager singer with hits such as 'þor Asþußib' (The People of Love) and Merous Dougtruß (Godly Forests). Man of the hour at every large fair, carnival and other such festivities, Kaiser Friedrich Fantastisch is best known for his interaction with fans, which includes knighting his most inspiring fans and a yearly camping trip with his younger fans, the so-called Summer Camp Fantastisch. When not working at the fairs, carnivals and such, or working his fans, he is mostly found performing in Palori-based casino's, where he is known for bedding a large amount of equally beautiful-and-drunk foreign beauties of both sexes.

2 - Jon & Jon Bjartmar
Image

Who?
These musical twins, that found their way in the spotlight through hardcore pornography, have wiggled their way into the club scene with catchy songs and flashy shows. While mostly popular with the younger crowd in the Civitanam nightlife, their popularity outside of Civitanam and Paloris as singers is slowly expanding as their fans from the bedroom are slowly crawling to the speaker. While Jon & Jon do not know why that is taking so long, they assume that it is due to the fact that their hands are tired from all the workouts on their movies, which limits crawling speed. Unlike Kaiser Friedrich Fantastisch, Jon & Jon were selected through the wildcard that Pracib Royal TV had granted to the Serenissimi Regis.

3 - Disco Gravi
Image

Who?
The enigmatic leader of the Discorib, a group of traditionalist All-Being period extremists, Gravius 'Disco Gravi' Barthas won the wildcard that Pracib Royal TV had granted to the public, winning the vote with a total of twenty percent of the votes. While his voice hasn't been heard on any records, as he never released any, both public and Pracib Royal TV-assigned judges declared his voice 'more than reasonable' and 'in sync with his dancing'. Seeing as Disco Gravi has been the undefeated champion of disco dancing since 1984, that's a whole of a lot of promise! When asked about his performance, if he was to be selected, he declared: I will bring the beat down on those that miss the purity of disco, allowing Praciba to bring home the bacon.

The songs!

1 - Gino from the Casino
Based on: Eddy Wally - Maria van de Pizzeria. Regretfully no YouTube link for this one, sorry.
What?
A deep and meaningful song about a boy named Gino, who apparently works in a casino. All the men and women come from miles away to see him, as he is deemed extremely attractive by all measures of standard combined with a lovely personality. Sadly, this evolves in nothing less than stalking and showing off to get Gino, albeit with good intentions, by the men and women. The singer(s) sing about his (Gino's) struggle and shows that he/them is/are also attracted to Gino, albeit the fact that the singer(s) know about his struggles will mean that they will stay friends.

2 - Work!
Based on: Lady - Twerk
What?
A deep and meaningful song about having proper work ethics. Ever have that day that you're at work and simply wonder why you are not receiving that promotion that you so desperately want and deserve? As we all have known such a situation, the singer(s) sing about a tip that they learned a while ago, that by simply working it and showing the proper work ethic, you can get anything you want from your boss. It has already received praise by various groups in Praciba, including the Union of Female Empowerment and Twinks United, for it's forward thinking ways and truthful message.

3 - Dance Intrusion
Based on: Army of Lovers - Sexual Revolution
What?
A deep and meaningful song about those times when you are, plain and simply, in the groove. The floor is hot, your pants are hotter and you just know that you'll get an offer for a threesome with a open-minded father-son duo. And then, some jackass comes and intrudes on your dance! This song addresses such horrors and the perpetrators that ruin the musical and sexual exploitations of those that are in the groove. While the beat might be forgiving, the singer(s) certainly isn't/aren't! Dance intruders, beware! After this song, everyone will surely look differently towards your heinous acts.

The votes!
To vote, please provide your two favorite pairings (artist + song) and send these to Pracib Royal TV! Please note, it is allowed to either select the same song or the same artist as your first pairing (but not both) for the second pairing.
Want to help build a world? Like to roleplay? Come to Werenth and claim your slice of paradise!

Noooo! More bids! Why must there be more? On a more serious note, all of the bids have been good so far and I'm sure these two will be good as well. I have a feeling it may be close.

Also, my actual postcard design should be up on Monday.
