The lights spotted at the singer of a part during the verse .
Crews Oxenbould:
It's our time, there's no need to be afraid

Petra Williams:
At WHF time, we let in light and we banish shade

Katarina Dawn:
And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy

Paul & Raul Rodenstock:
Throw your joy and laughter at our time

Violet:
Ignore the hate and war, because we are one

Keith Carlos:
There's a world outside your window and it's a world of dread and fear

Spectrum:
When loves become hates, and when music dies, and I'd die too!

James Rixton:
When they're not accepting you then we are here for you

Alicia Sumner:
Well, tonight we're reaching out and touching you!

Adam Rixton:
Bring peace and joy this WHF to Titaniumland!

Gemma Jones:
A song of hope where there's no hope tonight

Unfollow:
Why is comfort to be feared, why is to touch to be scared?

Alicia Sumner:
How can they know it's WHF time at all?

The verse were finished sang. The lights weren't spotted anymore and the primary lights turned on.
All:
Here’s to you
Raise a glass to everyone
Here’s to them
And all there is to come
Can they know it’s WHF time at all?
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time
Spread the love
Tell them it's the joyful time

Sean Espevre - Why Does It Hurt?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeumyOzKqgI

(The lights are dim. Sean stands in the middle of the stage, and behind him - just visible - is an orchestra. As the piano starts playing , a spotlight shines on two previously unseen dancers, who begin to dance a rumba style dance. Sean begins singing. )

I don't know
What happened to you and me
Lost forever in a sea of lies
Jealousy and broken dreams
I don't know
We suddenly fell apart
Fire engulfing our love
Darkness filling what was light

As the chorus begins, the dancers begin to dance in a more tango like in style yet it still has an air of delicateness to it. Sean begins to sing with real emotion.

Why does it hurt, hurt so bad?
And bring me to my knees
I see that
It is all shattered
It never mattered
It's all gone
Why does it hurt, hurt so bad? Hurt so bad?

As the verse takes place, the light turn dark red and the dance takes a darker tone, becoming even more tango like in essence. In the background, which is also red, cracks appear and lighting affects are seen.
Hral tiera emittoy
Dessoo men peds
Anrestat enos verum confrapon
Anpersit me lik ten incantor
Masja men coruer sijay remclan

The earth crumbles
Beneath my feet
Lying on shattered glass
Piercing me like your spell
But my heart is reclaimed

As the second chorus begins, three backing singers appear and the orchestra become clear. The dancers have moved to the left hand side of the stage.
Why does it hurt (why does it hurt)
Hurt so bad (hurt so bad)
And bring me to my knees (to my knees)
I see that
It is all shattered (all shattered)
It never mattered (never mattered)
It's all gone
Why does it hurt, hurt so bad? Hurt so bad?

(Hurt so bad, hurt so bad, hurt so bad)x3

The woman dancer leaves the stage. The man dances around the stage looking for her. He appears to call for her but then stops and falls to his knees.
I search desperately
I want you with me
Yet I know that our love
Our love was cursed
Come back to me
Fall into my arms
Stay away, no come back, I'm lost

As the chorus begins, the woman reappears, pulls the man up to his feet and they begin to dance a tango.

Why does it hurt (why does it hurt)
Hurt so bad (hurt so bad)
And bring me to my knees (to my knees)
I see that
It is all shattered (all shattered)
It never mattered (never mattered)
It's all gone
Why does it hurt, hurt so bad?

Hurt so bad?
Hurt so bad?
Why does it hurt?

3 BRITTANNY
Simoas Hugena - I Hate It
Tune:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvChjHcABPA

(Simoas sits at a Piano on the stage, in a navy blue suit. As he begins playing, women wearing long dresses walk out onto the stage and begin waltzing with men who were already there. They look incredibly from, which is how Simoas wants society to be)
Whatever happened to our society?
Scantily clad women now roam the streets
I don't know what happened
I've got no clue at all
But one thing I do know is society is done for

(As the chorus begins, the women pull of their dresses to reveal short "skirts" and incredibly tight tops. The men consequently run away; the people of Brittanny are incredibly old fashioned and conservative in their ways. The audience, however, enjoy this display)
Nearly-nude women on my TV screen
I hate it!
Those skirts aren't covering anything up
I hate it!
What happened, to decent and moral society?
What happened?
I don't know but this can't go on

(As the second verse comes on, images of TV's and mobile phones appear on the background. The lights turn to red and muscular men, wearing sporting clothes, walk onto the stage like animals. The women have left and the men begin wrestling each other. Halfway, girls holding cigarettes walk onto the stage and "entice" the men.)
Once intelligence was encouraged but now it's mocked
Ignorant jocks, the victims of our media
Poor girls at 13, learning to take drugs
To party all night and be up to no good

(As the chorus begins, both groups run off the stage to be replaced by formal, waltzing couples.)
Nearly-nude women on my TV screen
I hate it!
Those skirts aren't covering anything up
I hate it!
What happened, to decent and moral society?
What happened?
I don't know but this can't go on

(As the small instrumental plays, Simoas leaves his piano (it begins to play on the backing) and walks to the centre. Messages such as "Think about yourself" and "Don't be the victim of the press" appear on the background, and are replaced by TVs as the chorus begins. The other actors walk on and begin waltzing, to show how they have reformed. The girls are now wearing longer skirts and the men proper clothes)
Nearly-nude women on my TV screen
I hate it!
Those skirts aren't covering anything up
I hate it!
What happened, to decent and moral society?
What happened?
I don't know but this can't go on
I want, all of this to stop
The sexualisation and the dumbing down

Maane Olkje, 26, stands on the dark stage, with a spotlight on him. He is wearing a white vest, and lightblue jeans, with Timberland boots and a red checkered shirt tied around his waist. He looks deeply into the camera. On the first dubstep beat, the lighting changes. The LED background lights up in a bright white light.

As the room keeps on turning,
I get this feeling over me,
In this colourful moment,
So happy,
All the colours, so blind, are swirling all around me,
It’s so beautiful now,
Feel so free,
Come on walk on the clouds, so free you never want to come down
The colours spinning around me,
I feel free,
Feel so free,

As the music beat speeds up, the LED background flashes, until the chorus kicks in. Strobe lighting continues throughout the chorus. The LED background has split-second images of a yellow smiley face, colours, colourful sepia fields. Dancers enter the stage, spinning around euphorically but choreographed.

Trippin’ out
This is euphoria,
Trippin’ out.
Never comin’ down,
Trippin’ out, it's just not enough for me
It's just not enough for me
Never want to feel the ground.

The stage again turns dark, with Maane been spotlighted, but from the side of his face, only showing half. The stage remains dark.

As I look all around, everything is changing,
The colours have gone now,
Cause I can’t see,
All I see is the dark, I see evil before me,
And it’s pulling me down, just get off me,
I can’t feel any more, what is happening to me?
All I can see is the dark,
Please stop me,
I can’t see,

As the chorus comes in again, the dancers re appear, this time spinning around holding their heads in despair. The strobe lighting continues, the LED showing dark, red and firey images in the split second images. Maane too looks distressed.

Trippin’ out.
And I’m going down
Trippin’ out,
Gonna end this now,
Trippin’ out, it's just not enough for me
It's just not enough for me
The time has come to end it now,

The stage then lights up, the LED background is white. The dancers are on the floor curled into a ball, as the music starts, the dancers start to rise and stand behind Maane. Maane has a spotlight on him.

To the destination, sometimes we all want out
It’s my human nature, I need something to help me now,
Destination, escaping frome me now,
It’s my human nature, I need something to end it now.

The stage slowly fades to darkness. Maane and his dancers wave to the crowd before Maane subtly and shyly says "Thankyou, thankyou." They then walk off the stage.

The End - Angelica Terrace (w/ And Company)

Angelica Terrace walks out onto the stage with her accompanying band ("And Company") already behind her. She is wearing a skin-tight black jumpsuit with an orange trim around it. The screen behind her is all black until she begins performing. It instantly is filled with a collage of images of a random couple.

I don’t want to fight, It’s not worth it
I just want to go, and forget about you
But was I nothing to you
Breaking hearts easy to do?
Isn’t it funny how we’re right here again
And now you’re crying for me
You’re saying babe I’m sorry
You should have thought of that before you fucked her

The pictures now all start being torn into pieces on the screen behind Angelica as she gets more emotional. The screen quickly changes from depicting pictures to a randomization of black and white pixels. The entire screen then turns to white.
'cause you hurt me before, left my soul on the floor
Shattered so bad I thought that I couldn’t feel again, no
But then you came up to my house
And said that you’d never hurt me
Another time, ‘Nother Time
But that was a lie

And you know, that it’s too late
To repeat the lines that you always say
I can’t be, fooled every time
And accept you back into my life
This, This, This, Is The End

Angelica's suit was actually lined with LED lights on the inside. As she gets halfway through the stanza her entire suit lights up orange-red, making her entire body appear to resemble a flame.

This is good for me, to have a fresh start
I’m tired of being, left with a broken heart
You never cared about me, so egotistically
It’s hard for me to even look inside your eyes
And now it’s funny to see, how dumb it was of me
To ever think that you could make me happy

'cause you hurt me before, left my soul on the floor
Shattered so bad I thought that I couldn’t feel again, no
But then you came up to my house
And said that you’d never hurt me
Another time, ‘Nother Time
But that was a lie

And you know, that it’s too late
To repeat the lines that you always say
I can’t be, fooled every time
And accept you back into my life
This, This, This, Is The End

Angelica's suit then turns completely blue, and the photos return to the LED screen, only this time they slowly fade out as the song comes to a closing rather than being destroyed.

Angelica begins to take the mic of the stand and drop to the floor. She then wildly crawls around as she delivers this verse.
'
cause the past few years’ nothing but wasted fears
And I’m not gonna spend another second here with you, here with you
And maybe now you feel the way I did when you lied to me
You should regret it…you should regret it

Angelica is once again standing at the mic with her suit now glowing white.
And you know, that it’s too late
To repeat the lines that you always say
I can’t be, fooled every time
And accept you back into my life
This, This, This, Is The End

And you know, that it’s too late
To repeat the lines that you always say
There’s no cure , no not this time
I won't let you mess up my life
This This, This, Is The End

Everything on the screen is black so only Angelica's white suit can be seen.

Angelica screams "Thank you WHF, and thanks to my band". She leaves the stage.

Left-wing Utopia

There was a piano situated on the center of the stage, flanked by one cellist and four violinists who were stationary. On that piano sat Valentina Loncar, with only her silhouette visible as the lights caused shadows to appear on her visage. The camera panned over the stage before fading out and fading into a close-up view of Valentina, with lights shining on her, revealing her to be wearing a simple green dress. There was also a change to the camera's hue, with a slight monochromatic effect giving off a light brown hue which would persist until the end of the song.

As soon as the camera faded into the hue effect, Valentina began playing the first notes of the song. The camera on her looking down at the piano, with the one cello playing along to the melody. She inched closer to the attached microphone on her piano, and began to sing...

Tears fall
Gone and forlorn
All of my hopes
Destroyed and lost to time
Broken
I can't heal from
All these old scars
I look on in sadness

Valentina's eyes were closed at some parts of the first verse and her head arched down as much as it could without compromising the vocal of the song. It looked as if she were in pain as she sang, especially getting a bit emotional when she had sung from 'broken' on.

How have I fallen?
How did I end up so lost and scared?
Soon I'll be gone from this earth...

The camera began some slight rotations around Valentina, only stopping as Valentina finished the hook. Her eyes had remained open, though her vocal began to get far more emotional and pleading, and it looked as if she was looking desperately to someone in the audience.

All these years have gone to waste and I'm...
Left a hollow shell
Of who I used to be
I am scared of what I have become
There's no more hope for me
And I find my strength in
Nostalgia

Valentina belted out the chorus with as much passion as the quiet arrangement of the song allowed, with her voice going soft and giving off a vulnerable vibe as she sang the last line of the chorus, the song's title.

A soft instrumental interlude commenced, much similar to the song's intro. The camera quickly faded to the lone cellist performing along to the piano, with the four flanking violinists being shrouded due to the lights.

Helpless
Time marches on
I'm left behind
An aimless wanderer
But I must
Find my way
And become strong
Even as I face death

Valentina kept a fragile tone through the second verse, keeping her eyes open and looking to the audience with a determination not seen in the first verse. Though there was a sense of fragility, a sense that emotions will soon take the best of her. The camera, throughout the chorus, occasionaly switched to the piano keys, with Valentina's hands effortlessly playing the song and gliding through each key with little trouble.

I can't face my fears
Memories protect me from the world
Soon I'll be gone from this earth...

The cello can be heard joining in as Valentina sang the second hook, though the camera stayed distinctly on Valentina. All instruments stopped playing when Valentina sang the last line, setting the stage for the chorus.

All these years have gone to waste and I'm...
Left a hollow shell
Of who I used to be
I am scared of what I have become
There's no more hope for me
And I find my strength in
Nostalgia

Valentina belted out the chorus with a fragile intensity, with her body recoiling slightly from the power she was putting forth in her voice. The camera, in occasion, switched between views of Valentina and the cellist harmonizing along with the melody, with two violinists playing along as the other two remained shrouded in darkness. At the chorus' last two lines, the camera remained on Valentina, who immediately bowed her head at the chorus' end.

The instrumental interlude had begun, with the view now on the quintet that had flanked Valentina and her piano. The quintet had finally begun playing together for the first time, producing a pseudo-orchestral sound. There was a sense of urgency in this interlude, with the camera switching between Valentina's hands playing the piano or to any one of the violinists. As the instrumental came to its closing lines, Valentina stopped playing the piano and the camera now focused on her.

All these years have gone to waste and I'm...
Left a hollow shell
Of who I used to be

Valentina started off the last repetition softly, playing the piano shortly as soon as she uttered the first word. Her eyes were closed and her face was in a mournful expression. During this, the camera panned away from Valentina, showing the entirety of the stage.

I am scared of what I have become
There's no more hope for me
And I find my strength in
Nostalgia

Valentina belted out the final part of the chorus, letting emotion overtake her during the close of the song. The quintet, though playing with an intensity that matched Valentina's, grew quiet at the penultimate line. The lights on the quintet grew darker, with the only light now on Valentina. Her voice grew soft at the same time as the quintet grew silent. At she reached the song's title, the camera faded to her face. Valentina had enunciated each syllable of 'nostalgia,' letting the last notes resonate for a few seconds. As soon as the song ended, an audible breath from her could be heard and the lights dimmed.

The camera faded to a shot of the entire stage being lit up, with no spotlights on the performers. The effect had been removed and Valentina can be seen trying to compose herself and then smiling warmly at the audience. She removed the microphone attached to the piano.

“Hvala vam toliko Titaniumland.” Valentina said, making a soft wave to the crowd before having to walk off the stage.

07. Britonisea; The Serpentents with Like A Serpent.

The Serpentents are a quite successful group since WorldVision. In Fonti..Fronty...Ytrribia, The Serpenents came 5th with 94 points which was a mass improvement on last times 38 points. With the same performance, changed lyrics, the Serpenents are back to rock the stage of Titaniumland in WHF 15.

The song starts. The seating area was dark. There was only one bright light shining on Sisi. Her dress shimmered in the glistening while light.

I need to go, to take a breath from all your lies…
Because once again, once again, you left a scar behind…

Minnie, 1st in the picture, comes forward. Her red shoes clucked on the hard stage floor as she took a deep gasp and hoped that she wouldn't forget the words. She was the least confident however, she was the best singer so that was a big problem.

And I can’t do it, live in your presence
And you can’t hurt me as I won’t forget…

The 4 girls came together in one line and this is when the strobe effects and lights started. The lights scanned the stadium in a magnificent blue. The crowd went wild, but not as wild as the girls wanted them to be, so they had to impress them. They started to sing in a 4 part harmony. Each girl going higher. They didn't go full power on the chorus yet. It was quite a mellow song, for now.

Like a serpent, I will bite back…
Like a serpent, I will strike again…
When I loved you, I gazed in to your eyes and I was hypnotised
Behind the lies, the beats and the cheats
Like a serpent

Maxi, her full name is Maxine, stepped forward as now it was her time to shine. The lights in the stadium slowly disapeared as the spotlight shone on Maxine. You could see the sweat dripping down her face but she didn't mind that. She is a singer.

Do you know how much I have been hurt?
Do you know how much time I’ve sacrificed?

As she was doing each sentence, a there was a question mark on the screen and you could hear a loud deep sound. A thump almost. This is were the song climaxed. The word "Again" is very significant in this song as this word was repeated again and again. Get it!

And I can’t live with you again
As you will hurt me again and again

The Four strong women stood in a straight line as they put their microphones in the stands. As they put it in their respected stand, they all linked arm. Their clothes showed a nice pattern, the lights then re appeared. This time, snakes were on stage. They were trained snakes so none of them escaped in to the crowd. Snake sweets were dispensed across the stage and the audience. All of the women sang their hearts out, they wanted to win WV so bad. And again in 4 part harmony, that sung loudly and confidently.

Like a serpent, I will bite back…
Like a serpent, I will strike again…
When I loved you, I gazed in to your eyes and I was hypnotised
Behind the lies, the beats and the cheats
Like a serpent

It was a repeat of the first chorus. The chorus here changed a bit as the rhythm of the music turned in to augmentation. It was much slower. It was much slower so people can get the message. It speeded back up while the word "hypnotised" was sung.

Like a serpent, I will bite back…
Like a serpent, I will strike again…
When I loved you, I gazed in to your eyes and I was hypnotised
Behind the lies, the beats and the cheats.
Like a serpent

The bridge is a very important part to the song, so they unlinked arms and they went straight past each other and started to walk through the audience. They got a willing audience member, who were female and bought them on stage. Although the audience members wasn't forced, they sang along the four girls.

Bridge
You didn’t know. That I lied for you, gave to you
It wasn’t enough for you, You’ll be sorry
Like a serpent

As this was the big finale, the big song. The white lights spread across the arena this was a time that the girls will remember for ever.

Like a serpent, I will bite back…
Like a serpent, I will strike again…
When I loved you, I gased in to your eyes and I was hypnotised
Behind the lies, the beats and the cheats
Like a serpent

Like a serpent
Like a serpent, serpent
Like a serpent
Like a… serpent...

Sitting in the audience were Count Nabal and his daughter, the young Countess Lavinia. The Count wore a tuxedo and had had his normally unruly greying hair slicked back with gel and he was a bit at sea with the type of music and the type of crowd this sort of event seemed to attract, but he enjoyed being a patron of the arts, and so he clapped and applauded at the appropriate times. His main concern was to be there for his daughter who had wanted to come.

His daughter, a curvaceous young woman with a long slim nose, delicate classical features, light olive skin, her finely shaped head partly hidden by a green kerchief, wearing a shimmery rose evening dress, sat pensively at first, fingering a little gold crucifix around her neck. Her eyes were dark, hollow, circles beneath them barely hidden by makeup.

Lavinia was stunned by the futuristic beauty of the stage and the setting, the logos and the coloured lights as beautiful as Christmas, her eyes widened. She had never seen such a display in the flesh in her life.

The first number, WHF time--had a joyous sound, the singers however seemed reflective even as the celebratory music played, the actual lyrics made her feel immensely sad, and she was baffled at the enthusiasm of the audience. She could not help but wonder if they knew truly the meaning of what they were singing--was she the only one that the song hit home deeply for?

Her applause was without hesitation--it was so touching to her, this song, the idea of it, this theme for a celebration of music free of politics and ideology, that she found herself on her feet, applauding wildly, tears in her eyes. It seemed one of the most beautiful things she had experienced; it was so delightful that she was here. It did not touch the frozen heart of her, but it did move her deeply.

MACK MARNEY- We Like to Shoot
Mack Marney enters stage to the delight of Swordean fans, who've been waiting for this for a while. He starts singing.

All these diamonds in the sky
The crappy little diamonds in the sky!
A diamond isn't worth a gun
We like to shoot, oh yea!
We like to shoot!

Shooting guns everyday
It's my hobby
We like to shoot yea, we like to shoot
Nothing can't stop us
We like to shoot, oot, yea, yea!

One day comes
I need to borrow
Ancestors done it
Oh gosh it goes like
We like to shoot, oh yea!
We like to shoot!

Shooting guns everyday
It's my hobby
We like to shoot yea, we like to shoot
Nothing can't stop us
We like to shoot, oot, yea, yea!

Guns that bronze
Guns that don't shoot
We like 'em all
We like to shoot!

Ohhhh...
Shooting guns everyday
It's my hobby
We like to shoot yea, we like to shoot
Nothing cannot stop us!
Coz... We like to shoot!

Mack walks off the stage to a loud Swordean applause, signing programmes of eager fans.

Miranda Sway - Eyes Shed Tears

Tune: Demi Lovato - Shouldn't Come Back and James Bay - Hold Back the River

Shown wearing a red dress, she is standing on the center of the stage. She is accompanied by a guitarist, named Eric Thorn. Lights are dim.
First verse of "Shouldn't Come Back"

And you left me again
It's already enough for me
Entered and went out of my world
How could you do it to me, baby?

She is singing the pre-chorus still standing. Lights are still dim.
Chorus of "Hold Back the River"

Don't you remember when you said you loved me?
Don't you remember, don't ya?
Don't you remember when I was your one and only?
Don't you remember, don't ya?

The lights are showing a drummer behind Sway. The drummer is Sway's best friend, Gary Path. With drums beats (like this) and Sway's pop-rock voice, it feels like a rock lullaby.
Chorus of "Shouldn't Come Back"

Don't you know these eyes shed tears?
Don't you know these eyes shed tears, baby?
You have gone for a long time
And you'll enter my life another time, baby
I'll pretend to be a stranger to you-u-u
Don't you know these eyes shed tears?
Don't you know these eyes shed tears, baby?

She is walking around the stage. Two ballroom dancers are coming to the stage.
I don't know, how am I be this strong?
I'm trying to move on from you
Kicking problems we made
Remind the goods we have, baby

The pre-chorus is going rock and powerful. Sway's voice is so powerful and she hits the high note.
Don't you remember when you said you loved me?
Don't you remember, don't ya?
Don't you remember when I was your one and only?
Don't you remember, don't ya?

The chorus is going powerful. Sway is going to be emotional and she is crying while singing, because the song is based on her personal love life. Anyway, she hits the high note even when she's crying.

Sway shouts "THANK YOU MY PEOPLE!" and blows a kiss to the audiences.

Simoas Hugena made Count Nabal and Countess Lavinia smile with irony. How he would hate New Edom--though the common nakedness there was not lewd in intent, but holy and cultural, it would nevertheless shock him if he found skirts shocking The tune was very fun though, she found herself humming along with it even as the lyrics simply amused her

Then a beautiful man, Maane Olkje, came on stage. She just had to get a picture of him and text it to her friends back home. (Olympia wrote to her furiously: are you CRAZY? Why send me a picture of a guy like that, you know how H. gets! Think!) He made her heart flutter with the shock of it. His song, about...a bad drug trip? Emotional confusion? The melody full of yearning to overcome a dark place...Made her yearn for a guy who understand what she'd been through. It was shocking to her--a man other than her father who might actually GET her...who had a troubled heart...No no, it was just a song. She realized her heart was beating hard when he ended it.

She wanted to meet him. She wanted to touch him...

But now Angelica Terrace came on. "She needs a good meal," said her father, sniffing. "Skinny as a rail!"

"Oh Papa, not all cultures like an hourglass figure," said Lavinia a little smugly. "Besides, its about talent and performance."

Angelica's performance and song were well done, but she didn't like the melody or the lyrics--it made her very uncomfortable. It made her feel like Angelica was singing about her. Saying "You are a cheater, Lavinia. You're a schemer, you were a gold digging whore. Women can see this in you, men will just use you." She licked her lips which had become dry, and forced herself to be indifferent. it wasnt fair to the woman, but she wasn't the judge. The image in her mind of her ex-husband's face as he coldly turned away from her--never bothered to speak to her directly---everything came to haunt her in that moment. She realied her hand was at her own throat. Reluctantly she applauded; ;her father seemed to have liked the song.

And again--ANOTHER song hit her hard, Valentina Loncar's,
Tears fall
Gone and forlorn
All of my hopes
Destroyed and lost to time
Broken
I can't heal from
All these old scars
I look on in sadness
in the saddest key and with the saddest instruments possible...Lavinia found her eyes welling up again. Why were all the songs so bloody SAD? She managed to applaud at the end, but it felt like her life w as so utterly hopeless, all these damned musicians reminding her. Oh it was beautiful though...it expressed it so perfectly. She was torn between this piece--Nostalgia...and Maane Olkje's for favourites now.

No. They were replaced. "Like a Serpent" had her hooked..she thrilled at their dancing, at their lyrics--their lyrics! The slow commencement, a low contralto...then it began to build...slow and powerful, and women joining in voices defiant and strong. The guitar and percussion built it up stronger, different voices in harmony, as if to say "all kinds of women may feel this way."

Lavinia for the first time wanted to actually get up and dance with this. She wanted to move her arms and legs in response. She applauded with great enthusiasm when they were done!

In a way it was almost a relief to hear Miranda Sway and Eric Thorn. A folkish song, whimsical and a bit soft, something she could hum to and made her feel a bit relaxed...it was perfect after the Serpent song, it made her feel like she could hold that feeling, relax with it, and the soft thoughtful words made her smile. Then it went more powerful, but it was still hard for her to identify with the feelings, she just enjoyed the song.

What a roller coaster this all was! She took a deep breath and burst into applause.

_11. _TÖDLICHEBUJOKU_

Taste of Freedom

ILTA

Ilta Achterberg, known just as Ilta (and often stylized as ILTA), entered a song that stood out to the discerning Stergo100 judges, with its message promoting freedom standing out among the love, heartbreak and party songs often entered into consideration. With SKLO's entry receiving seven times more points than did Tödlichebujoku's debut, the judges decided it was a good time for it to be entered into the World Hit Festival.

Ilta, in this white dress, lies sprawled upon a bed, which is covered in restraints and held aloft by several male dancers. She sits up (having been lying on top of the restraints), and the screen shows a sun-drenched field, with a few great old trees dotting the landscape
Blue sky, streaked with puffy brushstrokes
Running free, past the ancient tanoaks
Say goodbye, to limitless repression
And hello, to a quiet new rebellion

The dancers lower the bed to the ground, the long side facing the front, and Ilta reaches out toward the audience
Searching for so long
Taste of freedom,
Take my hand and run..

With some aid from a dancer, she then backflips off the bed and begins a stylized, slow but dramatic synchronized dance routine with the dancers as the stage darkens and soft white lights beam down from above like starlight and transition to the colors of sunrise
Dancing in the darkness, half-moon at midnight
Can't stop aching for the true taste of freedom
Hold my lover closer, watching the sunrise
Can't stop aching for the true taste of freedom

Ilta climbs onto the bed and stands on it, eyes closed and both arms outstretched as the dancers fall to the ground
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)

The background screen changes to show an endless horizon, and Ilta steps over the prostrate dancers down the projecting walkway, a rapturous expression on her face
Like a dream, follow our true passions
Choose your path, and soar above the oceans
Mystic nights, hint at untold fortunes
Free will reigns, fate lies before you

She falls to her knees as the dancers rise
Searching for so long
Taste of freedom,
Take my hand and run..

She stands up, the dancers in two lines behind her. She twirls about as the dancers dance the previous routine together, and the stage lights echo starlight and then sunrise as before
Dancing in the darkness, half-moon at midnight
Can't stop aching for the true taste of freedom
Hold my lover closer, watching the sunrise
Can't stop aching for the true taste of freedom

She does one last twirl before falling into the arms of the nearest pair of dancers
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)

The men lift her up as she reclines back, and carry her back
Now I live for the day
We all stand up, oh we are all dreamers
Take charge of our own world
Refreshing lives, we are redeemers

Ilta leans forward and stands up above the men, supported by their strong grip
Yes, I live for the day
We all stand up, for we are all dreamers
Take charge of our own world
Reforming lives, we are redeemers

She is lowered back down to the stage floor, where she and the dancers reiterate their dance, except this time a bit more sensual. The stage lights imitate starlight and sunrise again, except now the starlight incorporates blacklight and golden sparks fall from the ceiling above the stage during the sunrise portion
Dancing in the darkness, half-moon at midnight
Can't stop aching for the true taste of freedom
Hold my lover closer, watching the sunrise
Can't stop aching for the true taste of freedom

The lights slowly die down to a few spotlights shining on Ilta, who is sitting on the side of the bed, then lies down across it, surrounded by the dancers
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)
The true taste of freedom
(oh...)

The lights flicker and fade out, followed soon by the applause and cheering of the audience

"Thank you!" she shouts. "Kiitos!"

Kalosia
Selëbrarol — Liliana Markus
performed to the tune of I Follow Rivers by Lykke Li (The Magician remix)

Liliana Markus was in her early 30s, and had tried to represent Kalosia in the 14th World Hit Festival, but she lost to Renato in the smallest margin ever in Festival di Melodi Kalosiana history. This time though, she won the Kalosian national final. The original version was performed with orchestra accompaniment, but the producers decided that, to represent Kalosia on the international stage, they needed to revamp the song.

Liliana wore a small blue silk dress. She wasn't on stage yet, but her backing singers were already, lined up in microphone stands at the back of the stage.
The song started, the background was mainly black except for rhythmic flashes, and the backing singers clapped to the beat. After about 16 claps, Liliana finally came on stage. Within the next 16 claps, she greeted the audience: Hello Titaniumland! Are you ready to party?! The crowd cheers. Okay, let's celebraaaaaate! Over the course of the song, the backing singers keep clapping, and Liliana moves around a bit as to not be static on stage.
note: some parts are performed by both Liliana and the backing singers, but the part in brackets are sung only by the backing singers.

The clapping and flashes stopped, Liliana stopped moving too, only a spotlight was cast on her and nothing else.

The light's came back on again (not the flashes) and Liliana started moving again, though everyone else was still.

Liliana stops moving and sends a message to the crowd: Okay everyone, I'd just like to say that no matter what you're going through, you can do it. And when you've done it, well done, good job! You did it, and you deserve to celebrate! Who's with me? The crowd cheers. The song eventually comes to an end, and Liliana thanks the crowd: Thank you! Gretsi tuta! and then leaves.
We tried
And we failed
But we know
That we can
And so
We tried
Again, and
We did it, finally
Thanks for all your effort
We celebrate now

Celebrate
We did it
We worked hard
Celebrate
We did it
We worked hard

You deserve it
For your effort
We tried
And we did it, finally
Thanks for all your effort
We celebrate now
The rest of the song consists of repetitions of parts of the above.

FROMULYA
Nilai Sempurna Hanya Mimpi (Ku Telah Berusaha) by Siska
translation: A Perfect Score is Only a Dream (I Tried) | tune: Dimana Hatimu? - Tere Cia
language: Standard Indonesian (the word "gimana" is in Fromulyan Indonesian)

Fromulya is a regular entrant to the WHF. Due to lack of time, they've decided to perform a revamped version of their most recent entry to the Worldvision Song Contest, which they rarely perform at as some of the more conservative members of society reacted negatively to the whole event, calling it immoral.
While MET was responsible for the Worldvision participation, TVRF has the sole right to represent the nation on international events, and is thus in charge of the nation's WHF entry (but they no longer had interest for Worldvision and allowed MET to fly the flag). As the song tells the stress of a student in trying to complete schoolwork, TVRF is broadcasting the contest on one of its minor channels in order to avoid controversy, and it is doubted that there will be enough televotes to be accepted as valid.
While minor changes have been applied to the song, the singer stays the same. Siska is a 17 year old who will soon finally graduate from high school. She was dressed in something much more elaborate than her WV performance: a fancy batik gown specially made for the occasion. She stood at the center of the stage, with backing singers instead of a band standing behind her. Siska doesn't really do much, she focuses on her singing and her voice. The producers, however, make use of lighting to enhance the performance. The performance started with slightly-dim lights.

Sibuk yang mengisi hari-hariku
Dengan PRku
Disisiku, banyaknya tugas yang kukerjakan
Mengisi waktu yang sempit ini
Semoga pada akhir bakal diterima

Gimana, gimana untuk mencari
Jawaban ini?
Putus asa, aku tidak bisa pertahankan
Prestasiku dari sebelumnya
Namun yang terjadi ada tugas lagi

Pernah kucoba selalu bergadang demi menyelesaikannya
Semakin aku mencoba, semakin ku lupa

The lights brightened gradually, turning a bright gold from brown.
Lelah ku belajar, kini kusadari
Nilai sempurna hanya mimpi
Oh Tuhan inikah tekanan
Yang pantas aku hadapi?

Awalnya berusaha rajin
Akhirnya kewalahan juga
Sudikah engkau memberi
Tugas yang sebanyak ini?

The lights dimmed and became blue, with a few white lights. At the end of the next part, the lights brighten as she belts out that note.
Kuberharap engkau mengampuni aku
Ku t’lah berusaha
Ku t’lah berusaha

Towards the end of the song, the lights fade away and become dark (save for a spotlight on Siska). When she sings the final syllable, all the lights suddenly kick back in.
Kuberharap engkau mengampuni aku
Ku t’lah berusaha
Ku t’lah berusaha
Ku t’lah berusaha
Ku t’lah berusa... ha

The song ended. "Terima kasih!" she shouted, and then left the stage.

The busy-ness that fills my days
With my homework
On my side, many assignments I’m working on
Filling this narrow time
Hopefully at the end, it will be accepted

How, how to find
This answer?
Giving up, I can’t maintain
My previous performance
Yet, there’s another assignment

I’ve tried to always stay up late to complete them all
The more I try, the more I forget

I’m tired of studying, now I realize
A perfect score is only a dream
Oh God, is this pressure
Really what I deserve?

At first, trying to be diligent
At the end, everything’s messed up
Do you really dare give
This many tasks?

I hope you’ll forgive me
I tried
I tried

I hope you’ll forgive me
I tried
I tried
I tried
I tried

Thank you!
