The year is 2050, and the world is chaotic... the nations that dominate the world, Russia, China, America, and all others are at each other's throats, as always, each looking foreword to when they get to slice the cold knife of war across the necks of others. The need for natural resources, mainly Petrolium, has sent the Superpowers scrambling to secure what little bit of energy is left for themselves... and war is already breaking out... what will happen...? Who will win? Will anyone win at all...? History solves all questions...

This RP begins in the year 2050. It follows the Fallout Timeline leading up to 2050. Anything after that is up to the players, you and I. The culture is the same, and for those of you who do not totally understand the culture of the Fallout Pre-War world, it's kind of how people living in the 40s and 50s would invision the future. The style of cars, clothes, and buildings, as well as music and the way people act resemble the 40s and 50s. You choose a nation, I am the United States, but there are a wide variety of nations available. The USSR, the People's Republic of China, nations in the European Commonwealth, and many more!
Below are a few different nations/regions and descriptions:
United States of America
The United States is a very rich, very powerful, very influential nation. They take pride in their Democratic ways, and commonly shun other ways of governing such as Communism and Fascism. This makes them very bad at making friends, but also keeps their nation "pure" and "All American". America is known for building big, bulky, yet amazing things. Unlike nations such as China, who prefer more stealthy equipment, the Americans like to build the biggest, most destructive things, and they are perfect at squashing those who stand in their way. America has a powerful Navy and Air Force, as well as ground units, which are trained to fight anywhere with extreme loyalty and patriotism. This makes American Troops a sight for soar eyes in any conflict, because they tend to clean up any messes that soldiers of other countries cannot handle. The US, like any nation, uses propaganda frequently. They also hold onto one of the best sources of Petroleum at Alaska. America is led by President Andrew Altman, who has kept the nation stable in these times of trouble. Finally, what makes America loved is their musical talent. American Singers and Musicians are revered all over the planet, for their talent and class.
United Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR)
The USSR is a long-standing Communist Nation that takes up Russia and many other nations in Europe and Asia. While not beloved nearly to the extent of America, they are very powerful, or at least, they were. In recent years, their national petroleum supplies have dwindled, and they crave oil to feed their militarized nation. Unlike the US or China, the USSR depends on raw manpower rather than technology. They train their soldiers to be hardcore, tough as nails, and pour money into the manufacturing of guns rather than the evolving of weapons of war. Because of this, they are behind both America and China in the Arms race. However, that doesn't mean they cannot or will not take either nation on. The USSR has a weak Navy, fair Air Force, and immensely powerful Army. They are led by a Dictator, Dimitri Kamov, who is a brutal tyrant. The people fear him, and revolts threaten to rip the nation apart.
People's Republic of China
China is large and powerful, and is regarded as the "Mortal Enemy of America". While the USSR and US have worked out relatively warm diplomatic relations, political conflict between the United States and China heats up day by day. The People's Republic of China is Communist, and this causes a problem since they manage to make their people proud to be a Communist. They look at America as "Lying, Capitalist Tyrants", and their goal is to rise above them and prove all Democracies will fall. The Chinese have a large and powerful Army and Navy, though their Air Force suffers from lack of funding. China focuses on building more advanced, stealth equipment. Like Russia, China suffers from a lack of fuel, which threatens a national collapse unless their leaders do something to get more oil. China uses lots of Propaganda to "brainwash" their people.
The Middle East
The Middle East, as always, is divided. It's nations prefer to use their oil to build bombs rather than sell it to make money to keep their countries up and running. Middle Eastern Countries are very poor, but Iran and Turkey own many nukes that they are willing to use on anyone that wishes to confront them. They hate Israel, but have not yet attacked.
European Commonwealth
The European Commonwealth is a military, economic, and political union of most European Nations, with the exception of Bulgaria, Serbia, and Ireland. For decades, the European Commonwealth has made Europe a very rich place, but it teeters as the Resource Wars begin to arise. Germany is the richest most economically stable, with the best Military. The UK has a powerful Navy, and the other members contribute as well. People in the EC as generally happy, but the thirst for oil has brought bickering between EC members. Some believe it is only a matter of time before the European Commonwealth breakes apart.

1: I am the OP. I will not be baised as far as my ruling in an RP goes, so don't try to play that card if things don't go your way
2: No godmodding, Meta-Gaming, or any of that annoying RP crap that people pull
3: Don't be an asshole in the OOC. If you have a problem with someone or something, simply talk to them, don't be rude.
4: With the European Commonwealth, you may be any European Countries, but only one. If you wish to be one of those that were excluded from the Commonwealth, so be it
5: The descriptions are there for a reason, stick by them. I've seen too many RPs where the nations do something that historically, would make no sense to do.
6: I will jump in and keep things interesting, whether it be showing Petrol reserves or a group of rebels, it will keep nations from being stubborn and not letting their countries have any problems.
