Well, that's actually an interesting idea, but lets take it a step further.
What if we had a scenario with all the new guys, and a few older guys. They all went in, and the new guys would be trained and helped by the older guys. In the OOC, they'd critique and point out issues.
That's my suggestion based off your idea, which is great.

Did I ask you questions and did you answer them? Sorry for being forgetful, but I've looked at a dozen applications, most of which are for here, in the past few days and they're all running together. This surge of new members is beyond me.Vancon wrote:By friends I mean that I had to credit them since I used their pictures and------Wait, you should know this. Unless you go to MilReal, then you'll just get sarcastic answers. I know from experience on both sides of the question.Die erworbenen Namen wrote:Well, that's a forum vote, most likely. We'd list the most available candidates and then take from there.
I love it. This idea's wonderful. I doubt I'd join in the IC, but I'd be there for the OOC.

be interested in possibly hosting the sequels in locations and years of your
choice.

Thought this whole thing would be a fun exercise where we all could explore
our nation's pasts and a way for everyone to practice coordination while
keeping things simple.

Around that timeframe I was either still using Mosin-Nagant 'Commando-Carbines' and Lebel rifles, or limited quantities of SKS and RPD supported by SVT-40s in my Naval Infantry Raider units while experimenting with chest-rigs and armor-plates.
My air-force made extensive use of plywood, and flat slabs of engineered plywood.

It's probably always going to be a nebulous thing unless that changes, which is possible, but up to Caesar in the timeline, it's pseudo-relevant. Maybe it'll show up in concrete later or maybe it'll appear partially in the PW: Origins timeline that Drek is building.

My idea is that we, as a group, pitched together to build a carrier or two, using designs from each of our nations, including data for offense and defense systems. It would make it truly formidable. Now, we could all donate escort ships, but we should never make one nation supply a capital ship when it could be used elsewhere. Why not spread the resources?
