Tempting. They would probably be housed in governmental structures which would likely be built to last quite awhile by themselves, I would imagine, given they are housing important expensive government stuff. But I was kind of refering to remote controlling a crew of construction machines so Colline can make a man-made lake all by herself on top of zion canyon and a tunnel leading up to it.

Well unless the OP says no to my idea, I think I'll have colline remote control a bunch of construction machines to help her out once she gets to zion.

Ok, I know ps4 and Xbox one didnt offically come out untill this year but there was allready a buzz about them for a few years before they were unleashed so it's acceptable to assume that maybe they were nearing completion and just had a few minor bugs to work out, last year, before they were shipped out to stores and things. So its possible for this rp that they might allready be in existence and just never got fully completed.

Only aircraft have been optimized for remote control during 2013. I don't think such would be easy without the required maintenance.

Remote controlled toys of every verity have been around for awhile, not just planes. Its just a matter of beefing up the signal and adding more than a couple joysticks. And you just proved my point with the robots thing. Remote controlled robots with guns are a lot more complicated than moving around a machine that is meant to dig a hole.

Also about the thing you said, thats not true. Flying drones have been around since 1935.

Most of the digging machines use similar traction and movement as the robots shown in that image and its just a matter of basically moving a robotic arm up and down a few times. Thats all the machines do. And from what I recall, its a couple buttons and some levers being used repeatedly. That shouldnt be too hard to replicate for a remote control.

plus most trains are on remote control now and Im pretty sure subways allways have been via remote control and those things are super complicated, so a few little digging machines shouldnt be that hard.

Eh, I'd go between the two.

But it really is hard to tell, because it really depends the person. For example:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lauren_May ... SXSW_(2013)_-_2.jpg

She is 25, but looks like she could be like, 20 (if not younger). Partly because she is so damn small.

And another example:
http://s1210.photobucket.com/user/petal ... 4.jpg.html
http://s1210.photobucket.com/user/petal ... e.jpg.html

She was like 16 in those, and looks like she could be 12.

Seems fine to me, though might get hard to run, because I'd assume they use gas or something.

The first part, I understand. Looks can be deceiving. Ok so inbetween 25 and 30. so probably 28 is good.

As for the second thing, all I have to say is  & :eyebrow:

I never heard of videogame systems running on gas.

Pfft, like I don't know that. There were radio controlled planes in WW2.

The only remote-controlled excavator I know of is a toy. You would need to match the electronics on the machine to the remote's functions, and I doubt that's something easy for one person to do. It took some time for air drone tech alone to be worked out(maybe perfected...).

Well, whatever... I'm not the OP, anyways. >.>

Its cool. It got my imagination running a bit. Steam powered video game consoles! what fun!

Not gas like you said but my imagination wont let me think that complex unfortunately.

But yes, I think you were refering to the remote controlled digging and heavy object lifting machines. Yes those would require gas. You just got to know where to look. I'd imagine there probably were a few wealthy and smart people who foresaw this coming and probably hid a few barrels of the stuff in a storage unit or in their basements or something, just incase. Or untouched gas stations out in the boondocks where no body goes except the people that live out there or people who get lost.

As for the consoles, yay! PS4 and Xbox one allready out! Lots of next-gen video game stuffs!! Woo!!

I didnt say it was going to be easy, or that she would be alone in constructing the remote controls for them. Just that when it gets to working, that she could control them all by herself.
